I’d give 10 stars if I could. After calling a handful of companies that could not tow my truck do to the size, out of the middle of the street, I called Kirby’s. He was truthful with me and told me it would be a little bit of a wait a little over a hour, however he was there within 30 minutes maybe even shorter.
I really am happy with them because during his route to get me, a ncdot worker randomly pulled up that was familiar with my truck and said he knew why it wouldn’t start. When Kirbys pulled up, the man was making a repair. The repairman asked the truck driver if he could wait just a few minutes in case it would not start. He had no problem with waiting. Apparently the fuel pump lost prime. The truck driver also gave some advice and helped resolve the issue.
He was not upset I wasted his time, and he still helped when he wasn’t obligated to.
I tried to pay him for his time atleast and he denied payment. That shocked me a little. I like to think I’m a good person, but this guy may have me beat in Gods handbook.
Thank you sir. I really appreciate y’all’s time and quick effort to help. Though he did not secure the job he still gave me his knowledge and time. No one else would even send a truck out.

On April 25, 2021 Our Ford Dually would not start at a bank parking lot and we were recommended to call Kirby's. Not only did our driver show up but he loaded our truck and delivered it to the shop with a great attitude and a willingness to help us. The towing cost was so reasonable and we highly recommend Kirby's Towing to anyone! I'm sad to say I forgot our driver's name but he was extremely kind and helpful. Many, many thanks to Kirby's!

My 2008 Toyota 4 Runner was towed in August 2016 after being stolen as well as reported stolen on May 8 2016. They did not report my car being in their possession until a month later in September. Therefore by the time my insurance company contacted me the bill for the car being in their possession was over $2000. Since I did not have that money on me they wouldn’t even let me take my three little kids possessions out of the car to give back to my kids. I even had Detective Knopf of the Wilmington Police Department talk to the owner to try and work out a deal and he agreed that Kirbys Towing “ is nothing but a racket in this community “. To Kirbys Towing: you are grimy, despicable, lowlifes that prey on the hardships of the people of this wonderful community. I hope you, your family, and the dirtbags of your company fall upon the hardest of hard times and can’t wait until you meet a customer that won’t tolerate your bullying. You are a disgrace to Wilmington.
This tow company doesn't even know where to look for a VIN number and charged more then any other tow company I spoke with when in rotation with the state patrol...
I have never used Kirby's towing but I can say that this afternoon in Pender county one of Kirby's towing trucks was tail gating so bad that if I would have slammed on the brakes he would have hit me in the back so since the driver was so rude I just roll my window down and motion for him to go because that was totally ridiculous
Fantastic, honest and friendly service!! The driver (Dillinger? Sry, if name is wrong) was fantastic and took special care to treat my vehicle with care and respect; I had to schedule an inconvenient 'Saturday' Tow and Kirby's was happy to oblige. They got there on time, hooked everything up and we were on our way in no time!! Completely up front with costs and how everything was going to go. Highly recommended, give em your business, I've got ZERO regrets. Thanks for the help fellas!!!
Money Hungry and Greedy. This establishment wrongfully towed my car (with a parking pass on the dash) within 40 minutes of me being parked. My car was towed less than 5 miles away from the place where it was parked and I was charged $200 dollars. I live, work and contribute my money and time locally. I think it is very important to support local small businesses but when a local business takes advantage of their power to fill their pocket I believe the community should come together to fight against it. There are other garages in town who work hard to earn an honest dollar...next time you are making a decision to spend your money at a local garage, please consider to go elsewhere.

There is not an expiration time on this parking pass. 200 dollars for a tow less than 5 miles up the road is absolutely unnecessary and greedy.
Fair price, up front, quick and fast service. My boat trailer lost a wheel yesterday and they were quick to come to my rescue with the rollback. Keep doing what your doing. Treat others how you want to be treated and the rest will take care of itself. Thank u.
Dropped what he was doing to come get my truck out of traffic when it broke and got to me in 7 minutes. Price was fair and went above and beyond for me when he didn't have too.
I have seen Kirby towing in action many times over the last 9 years - both as a customer and seeing them help others. They are highly skilled, honest, professional and courteous. And they are very quick to respond and arrive! I highly recommend them, as they are the best towing company I have experienced.

Car was towed on a Monday, picked up before 5 on a Tuesday.. $335.00 and had to buy my own Vaseline. Please tell me $335.00 for a single next day tow is reasonable...
Exceptionally fast and friendly service! First tried a jump start but issue with my truck ended up requiring a tow to the dealership. Price was as quoted over the phone. I recommend Kirby's towing and recovery!
They arrived at my car within minutes after I called them. The final price was what they quoted on the phone and seemed reasonable to me. Both the person who answered the phone and the driver were professional.
Car wouldn't start so I called Kirby's. Driver was friendly and very prompt, especially for a Saturday. He also was very careful with my vehicle as it is customized. price was reasonable as well. I hope I don't have to get towed again but I'll use them if I do!
