Burgess Towing gets my highest recommendation for prompt, responsive and courteous service. Rocky the tow truck driver delivered the knockout blow to our locked car problem. Rocky kept us out of panic mode and into fix it…showed empathy and poise. We appreciate the Burgess Team meeting our need - thank you!
Hired them via AAA to tow my car. Zac the driver was very professional, he called in advance to confirm everything, gave me his cell phone in case showed up on time with a nice flatbed as committed. I'd call them directly and use them again! Highly recommend for towing and transport!
My nephews car was towed to their facility on a Sunday after an accident and he was never told he had to come back IN PERSON to sign a release to get the car towed to a repair facility . So he had to rent a car and miss a day of college because Burgess doesn’t seem to be able to email a release and get a signature … Terrible service, I will never use them and beware ,they are who AAA uses for Moore County. I have looked up the law and called the sheriff's department and they say there is no such law. Please share the law code if what you say is true..
Twice in the past three months, Burgess Towing has come to help us with a flat tire. Prompt service and friendly, helpful people! Very much appreciated.
The next time one of these tow trucks pull out in front of me while I'm going 55-60MPH down a HWY with my 3 year old in the car and almost runs me off the road I will have the cops called!!! You are in a much bigger vehicle than me, KEEP THAT IN MIND. Heavy set white male that pulled out of Morgan's in Aberdeen. you've been reported so watch where you're going next time. Or they'll need a tow truck for the accident you cause!!!!!
Needed a tow on a Friday evening and after calling AAA, their driver promptly called us and said they were pretty slammed with calls but would get to us asap. Called again 30 mins later to say he was enroute. Once he arrived he was very polite. He actually temp fixed our issue so our car was drivable and we did not need the tow. I will always appreciate what they did for us which saved us a ton of $$, time and aggravation. Huge props to Burgess Towing.
Terrible!!!! As a USAA member they outsourced to them. 2 hours waiting and no contact from them. Don’t bother trying to call as they don’t answer the phone. The USAA representative tried as well and nothing. I had them cancel my tow truck request and called someone else.
DON'T COUNT ON BURGESS TOWING! WORST TOWING SERVICE EVER, BEYOND UNRELIABLE!!!
I had a flat tire(no spare unfortunately) & called AAA. They use their services(if you want to call it that). I was told that they would arrive at anytime between then and 45 minutes. Over an hour goes by & I call AAA only to be informed that Burgess Towing flat out refused to pick me up without a destination. I have a hybrid car with difficult tire size & even told them that I would have to call the local tire stores on the way into town since I was on a deadzone(internet wise). Burgess didn't care! They literally left me STRANDED! I had to wait for a friend to get off work to help. I missed my evening shift of work since I was on the side of the road for OVER 3 HOURS in the cold! 3 & 1/2 hours later I received a call & text from them that they were going to arrive in 25 minutes. Thanks for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! AWFUL AWFUL COMPANY!!!!!
Thief’s that take advantage of hard working people they charge me 630 for towing my car don’t use their service a bunch of cooks and rude didn’t even let me see my car before I got it
Don't know the guys name that helped me today but you can tell he wasn't having the best day. Even with him having a bad day he still gave me advice on how to maintain my car. I really appreciated him coming to help us and I hope one day these guys will get the credit they deserve for their hard work.
Even tho they wasnt able to assist me right then they did provide the phone number to someone else... Not many companies will do that... Thank you Deanna
Burgess Towing are nothing but a bunch of crooks. Literally towed our car less than 5 miles and charge us $250 plus $30 a day storage fee. No matter we are hometown people, service was absolutely obsured. NEVER EVER EVER USE BURGESS TOWING!!!
I had an unexpected flat tire... within 10 minutes of getting off the phone with Geico I received a phone call from Brandon. He was 5-10 minutes away from me.. he was completely professional on the phone and showed up within 10 minutes. He changed my tire- he actually took the time to show me how to change my own tire. Showed me the lug nuts and how to use the proper tools. I can’t recommend this towing service enough. Brandon was very kind, professional, and patient. Thank you
Ran out of gas in a parking lot and called my roadside assistance. Burgess arrived 30 minutes later and informed me it would be $34 to go literally across the street to get 2 gallons of gas. I obviously thought that was excessive so waited while the guy called his dispatcher. The dispatcher then said to just charge me $8 for the gas. I agreed but when the guy found out all I had was a credit card he said he couldn’t help me. I asked if he could just let me get the money from an ATM and he told me no. Left me sitting in 95 degree heat in my car.
UNACCEPTABLE
Horrible experience. They illegally charged me $100 more. Their truck got stuck in sand and charged me to bring another truck. They threatened to call the police stating it was my fault and I was obligated by law to pay. After speaking to a sheriff I learned that it was not my obligation. He advised taking them to court, but the cost of lawyers and taking time off work would not be worth the $100.
