Great service! They sent Tremaine out right away to swap out a flat tire for me. Friendly and knowledgeable. I’d definitely use them again for roadside assistance. I also appreciate that they don’t use robots to answer the phone. The company I called first did, and it was a total nightmare trying to get an actual person to come out. 10/10. Thank you.
Professional and efficient. Needed a jump start and got back rolling in about 30 minutes. Hero got to me in about 20 minutes, 10 minute service. Highly recommend.
Alex, at Hero Towing is the man! He takes pride and ownership in his work and bent over backwards to help us get our vehicle to the dealer. We were headed to Duke Medical Center to support our family member through her surgery. We live in South Florida, so this was a hike. As soon as we hit Charlotte, the transmission in my SUV started giving me troubles. We got off at a safe exit and parked in a safe parking lot. I made several calls and even waited on Liberty Towing to come get me. Waited 1.5 hours on Liberty only to find that they had abandoned me and were not coming. Frustrated, I got back on the phone and got ahold of Alex at Hero Towing. He showed up when he said he would in a very well maintained flat bed. He was professional and courteous. I never asked, but the way he acted, could have been the owner of the tow company. When we determined that the dealer was closed and their lot gated up (it was Sunday), he offered to take my vehicle to their secure lot overnight, and then deliver my vehicle to the dealer the next morning. Awesome service that he was not obligated to provide. The next morning my vehicle was delivered to the dealer, and the dealer called me as soon as they opened because Hero had given them my name and phone number, as well as letting them know why the vehicle was there. It was like having a friend in the business! I don't get this kind of service every day, but when I do I like to tell someone about it.
On the way to work this morning I drove a little too close to a construction site and got a piece of metal in my tire. By lunch time my back tire was completely flat! Gage got there quick and was able to change my tire just in time for me to get back to work. He was also really patient and polite when answering all of my questions. I will be keeping this company in mind the next time I'm in a bind (hopefully not anytime soon). Thanks!
There isn't enough time or space to write about all of the great things about this company. I own a moving company and had a crew delivering in Charlotte when their van broke down. I called, they towed to their repair shop, GAVE me a truck to use for free to deliver to our customer! They came in early next am to get a jump on the repairs so that my guys could get on the road back to our office in Wilson. Communication was superb. Thank you Nick!

We had such a great experience with Charlotte HERO Roadside Assistance LLC. From the initial call to the completion of service, everything was smooth and professional. Tremaine came out to change a flat tire for us and was incredibly kind and efficient—not to mention faster than any tow company we’ve used before. We couldn’t be there in person, but he handled everything and even moved the truck to a nearby gas station just like we requested. It was such a relief knowing our vehicle was in good hands. We really appreciate the extra effort—highly recommend these guys if you ever need roadside help!

Let me tell you about Alex! It’s Saturday afternoon, the hottest day of the year so far, we just picked up our brand new puppy. Alex was about my 6th phone call after everyone said they were too busy to get to us. When Alex heard our situation despite not being familiar with our electric vehicle he was not only to us in 20 minutes but he was determined to get us back on the road as soon as possible. Alex showed up with water for us and the dogs, stayed with us until he knew we were good to go. Hands down, unequivocally, the best tow service we’ve ever witnessed. Alex truly was our hero!
This place truly goes above and beyond seriously. From the people who answer the phone (dispatch) to the actual technicians. I’ve had great experiences with both Jason & Tremaine. Tremaine towed my car home on 1/31/25 and was so patient & knowledgeable! Literally won’t ever use another company for roadside support.
Hopefully this is the right company but my car broke down and I noticed one of the trucks driving by it was a collision up ahead which was slowing down traffic I had to hurry up and make sure I caught up to the truck before he drove off it was my last hope i made it in time to knock on the driver's window and told him what I had going on , he told me he would turn around to help me real quick and I knew this was god helping me cause this man was a true angel he turned around and helped me with the car and told me I just ran out of gas and the alternator needed to charge I told him I'll call a friend to help me get gas and I can call him back for the jump for my car he didn't have all the supplies on his truck to help but he said he would be on standby if I needed him 15 minutes went by an he came back for me ! Before I had called a family friend and helped me with the gas and start the car back up !! Man oh man I was so happy may God bless this man he told me to just keep the car on for another 30 minutes and the car should be fine .. I kept it on longer and the car is fine I told him I know I will be calling him in the future cause I love good customer service thank you all so much for providing help
Came out in 15 minutes, where most companies would take an hour to get to you. Dispatch was very helpful and the price was reasonable. I would definitely call again if I ever have an issue in Charlotte.
I’ve used Charlotte HERO Patrol Roadside Assistance LLC several times, and their service has always been excellent. They are professional, reliable, and quick to respond, which is so important during stressful roadside situations. While their prices have gone up recently, it’s understandable given that everything else has too. Even with the increase, their rates are still fair for the high-quality service they provide. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of roadside assistance.
I had the most amazing experience with Charlotte HERO Roadside Assistance. I had to use the battery Jump service on two separate days back to back and the response time was soo fast! They came out in exactly 45 minutes both times and Vincent and Tremaine were not only helpful and provided a speedy service but they were both knowledgeable about what was happening with my car and they were able to explain everything to me in the simplest terms. The process from start to finish was quick, easy and convenient! 10 out of 10 highly recommend!!
Top notch company with superb service! I had a flat with no idea how to change a tire. I called several companies and searched countless others. Not only were these guys the most affordable, they were also really nice, quick, and professional. They got to me in under 30 minutes. My tech was very knowledgeable and kind. He even advised me to look into reimbursement from my insurance company. This is now my go to for any roadside assistance needs and I will be recommending them to anyone who needs it!

My car battery died while I was traveling and no one had jumper cables. I called Charlotte Hero Patrol Roadside Assistance & someone immediately picked up. He gave me a quote and estimated time, and reached out with frequent updates (there was some traffic). Tremaine helped me out with my dead battery. He was awesome and came quickly, everything took about 30 minutes from the time I placed my call. He was super nice and understanding, very quick and efficient! Really recommend. It was about 50 bucks to start my battery. I had sent an online message to another business that quoted me 100 bucks. Definitely recommend these guys!
I'll give them 1000 stars! I work with a roadside company. We often have a hard time finding someone with the right kind of truck to get into a parking garage and get a vehicle that does not go out of neutral out, but they have it and did it quickly without damaging the car. I will be recommending them to everyone I know!! I was at work and discovered I had a flat tire when I went out to my car. I called a tow company and they recommended these guys. I called them immediately. The gentleman that answered the phone was super friendly and immediately got me help. Within 45 minutes Alex was here. He pulled up and immediately got to work. He was super friendly and very professional. The job was done in no time but done efficiently with care and precision. And that is why I’ll be telling everyone I know about them!!
I parked my bus in a bonehead spot and got stuck in the mud. Not only did they arrive earlier than promised, they didn't even tease me about my poor choice of parking locations. Nick was so kind, helpful and even complementary of my new ride! He gave me some additional safety tips, great advice and a referral to a diesel mechanic for future needs. I hope to not need roadside assistance/winch out again but if I do they will be my first call. Well worth the very reasonable rate they charged!
My husband busted his tire on a pothole and I contacted roadside assistance and it took forever to connect with someone so I cancelled my claim. I called Charlotte Hero and they told me 15-20 mins. The technician Tremaine actually pulled up within 10! Fast and great customer service!
The whole experience from start to finish was easy, professional, and fast. Our battery was on its last legs and needed to be replaced before we got stranded in a parking lot. The dispatcher sent a service technician out right away and the battery was replaced about an hour after my original call. I highly recommend them!
Definitely my first choice for towing services. My car was stuck in a ditch and Will handled my car with care, it was a struggle at first but Will got my car back home. Also very affordable only $125. Thank you Charlotte HERO Patrol Roadside Assistance, most of all to Will!
These guys helped us out at 6pm on a Sunday night with a flat tire on our boat trailer on the busy highway. We were number 2 in line but they still got to us in about 35 min and had the repair completed in 5. Super helpful and friendly! We can’t thank you enough!

My tractor trailer broke down at the intersection near Charlotte HERO Patrol after leaving the truck stop. My Airbrake line to my trailer ruptured and locked up my trailer brakes. Unfortunately I had to drag my trailer across the intersection as to not block any traffic. As fate would have it, I made it near the entrance gate of the Charlotte HERO Patrol.
They were able to get me a hose fitting to temporarily repair my air line in order to get rolling again.
I certainly didn’t expect this level of service especially since I practically landed at their location. The manager Nick was very helpful and even asked one of his drivers to go to the auto parts store to buy the fitting for my airline. Once he returned with the necessary parts, Nick jumped in and assisted me in fixing my line.
I can’t thank you and the entire crew for all the help. Your level of service was truly above and beyond what anyone would expect. Thank you all very much.
I have to agree with another reviewer - the best roadside assistance I've ever experienced. My battery was dead as a doornail. Dead to the point I needed a new one. Nick arrived on time and could not have been more polite and friendly. He is very knowledgeable about all cars and what it takes to keep them running. The additional tips he provided about making sure I drive it at least once a week for the health of the battery but also for the health of the tires was awesome.
During the service call we talked about customer service and I can say without a doubt, Charlotte HERO and Nick truly care about making sure their customers receive the best. He takes the time to be sure you are getting the proper assistance.
