While I was there I couldn't find what I was looking for. And an employee who was working helped me by answering my questions and I found what I needed.
these guys are really great. I appreciate these types of places but am officially giving up on the other 2, O'Reilly just seems to take more care to hire people who have a knowledge base for what they are selling and diagnosing. the others are just hiring warm bodies. yes O'Reilly tends to be a bit more expensive, but i hope it is because they pay thier people more. if so, it is well worth the slight price difference.
Caroline at the store was super helpful and kind in assisting with a car issue we ran into when driving on the highway. Our splash guard has come loose and was dragging when driving on the highway, and this store was the closest we could find to get some sort of assistance. Though this was likely out of scope for her role, Caroline freely volunteered and got under our car and helped remove the metal guard that was getting scraped. She also then zip tied the plastic part so that we could continue driving back home. This was really kind of her and she didn’t have to do any of this to help us get back to Raleigh safely. Thank you Caroline and we are very grateful for your help!
O'Reilly's has way more options to choose from when it comes to detailing your car, tire cleaners, tire shine, cloths to clean with, dry your car, clean the interior, etc... They also have a better selection on steering wheel covers & floor mats. There coolants & antifreeze is a little more cheaper as well. I truly like there prices a lot better than AutoZone or Advance Auto. To be honest they even have a more variety selection on seat covers as well. This is we're ill definitely be buying all my detailing stuff & my car mats, seat covers and steering wheel covers.
My tire pressure light came on traveling from NY to Florida. I stopped to put air in the tire and there was an O’Reillys right there. I asked if they did tire repair. A young gentleman, I think his name was Darren, came out and looked. Said he thought it was the valve. I bought the repair Kit and this young man tightened up the valve for no charge making me more at ease on the rest of the trip.
I wanted to give kudos for the great and kind service.
It truly was a disappointment. Couldn't obtain parts due to the age/year of the vehicle. Attendant seemed to lack knowledge on vehicles/truck. Also was very lazy and seemed to be annoyed I was even inquiring for parts. I gave outta ten a -10... 1
