The only reason I’m giving this place a 2 is because the black guy always talks over you while trying to explain a problem. Saying he’s going to return your call & doesnt … & no one’s ever at the shop. How are you selling cars & never in the office something doesn’t add up here
Bought a BMW from him a few years ago super pleased went back and got my kids a car pleased twice. We didn't finance but will be purchasing from him again.
I called Mr. Rowe, he responded quickly, He said he could get me financed, I told him I would try to get cash. The car ( 2013 BMW 528i RWD) was reasonably priced especially with the miles. I was finding the same car same miles for at least 3,000 more. I called him back asked him to get me approved for financing and he did. My credit is in transition :) so I wasn't sure if he could. I test drove the car, the entire time I had good positive vibes. I initially thought the car needed brakes and Mr. Rowe was willing to get me some he set up the appointment with NTB(Mavis) and it turned out that I didn't need any. It vibrated and shook a little bit when I stopped during the test drive. But now I realize it just needed to be driven. I haven't had any issues with the brakes. I have owned 3 BMW's and they all were used and they all leaked oil. That was expected, however, its not bad and a warranty came along with financing so I am not pressed. It rides really good and you can see and feel that the car was taken care of. I am highly satisfied with my purchase and my interaction with Mr. ROWE. I will be purchasing another vehicle from him in the future. Hopefully he can find me a Mercedes GLC next. Thank you Mr. ROWE for being so helpful. He also sent my tags to me since I live over an hour away. I most definitely appreciate that.
Went to see Tommie today for a car. He was super nice and listened to my vehicle needs. His prices are fair and he knows his products. Would recommend him to anyone who's in the market for a car. Again thanks Tommie
I wish I could give this place a 2.5, because it wasn’t the worst but definitely wasn’t the best.
Pros:
- had a lot of different cars to pick from
- Process of test driving was pretty simple
- They were never really that busy 😂
- Horton had all the paperwork ready when we came back to buy the car
- Tommie paid for the car to get detailed. Would definitely ask for this!
Cons:
- Horton, the salesman there, just feels sleazy. I work in sales and I wish the “used car salesman” feel wasn’t a thing but it totally is. Doesn’t listen at all, and is just going to say what he needs to get the deal. (i.e. we drove up in a 5 series BMW and for the first 20 minutes tries to sell me on how good they are! Like bro I know! That’s why I HAVE one.)
- Looks to be a common theme, but tags were NOT sent to us, when they clearly stated they would be since we live about 30 min away. We had to drive out there AGAIN to pick up the plate that was left under the doormat.
- They would not negotiate at all on the price, even though we were paying cash! Looking back, I wish I would have been willing to walk away and get a better deal. Having the car for a month now, we’ve had to put about $2K into it for new tires and updated maintenance.
Overall I’d say it was an okay experience but could definitely have been better. If you know your cars, and are willing to invest in getting it checked out by a mechanic beforehand, then I’d go here. I liked the car and knew what to look for when purchasing, and also took it to a mechanic to get it inspected as well.
Just don’t expect them to roll out the red carpet for you lol.
Had a great experience at the dealership. Car was in great condition. Here over a month later the car still runs like a champ and has yet to Spring any issues. The reason for the low rating is due to me having the car over a month now and still not having tags/registration/title. Bought the car in full and was told my paperwork and tags would come to my house in the mail. They did not. All my stuff got sent to the dealership, and I never received a phone call or as much as a text message. After calling and talking to the owner 5 times, being told my tags/paperwork were being mailed to me as soon as we got off the phone ( they did not, they didn’t go in the mail until 8-18 when my dealer tags expired 8-10 ), my tags are finally supposed to be on the way. I would recommend if you shop here to make sure your stuff is being sent to you on time. It is ridiculous that we spend $6000 at this business and aren’t even awarded the courtesy of receiving or being made aware of the situation with the tags/paperwork. My tags/paperwork are supposed to come in the mail today per the owners words. If they do not, I will update the review and lower my rating even more. This is ridiculous.
I brought my Dad up to Legacy Car Sales,to get a pick up and everything went smooth, within the 30 days ,the rear end started coming apart, we contacted Tommy and he said get an estimate,he'll fix it,ok,we did that ,then we faxed,emailed him and plus texted him the estimats,after a couple phone calls he didn't pick up..so we're going to fix the rear end in the truck....POOR BUSINESS, people make sure you are aware of these vehicles...
This my 2008 infinite G35 I got from Tommie but without the rims and I love my infinite so what people say about Tommie I didn't experience that with him because my infinite always stop the show..............
My boyfriend had been looking for a Toyota Avalon and if we found one it was overpriced or the interior looked horrible. I came across an Avalon here and it was in awesome condition, inside was perfect and at a great deal. These guys at this car dealership were awesome and an absolute pleasure to work with! They even stayed late for us to help seal the deal!
**THREE MONTH UPDATE: I HAVE NOW SPENT ABOUT HALF OF WHAT THE CAR IS WORTH IN REPAIRS SINCE PURCHASING. AGAIN JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, I WISH I HAD**
Just don't do it. The purchase process is extremely simple and easy at this place for a reason. I had several issues with my car within the first month of purchasing. Tommie is not reliable nor are his "repairmen", there is always a wait time of at least 2-3 days for my car to be checked out by one of his people and I have received the run around and several lies each time. I have now had my car for less than two months and it has not been drivable for almost two weeks total due to repairs in that time and I have recently found out my catalytic converter needs to be replaced. It's not worth the trouble, pay a little more and find someone trustworthy.
I also know someone else who had a similar experience with this dealership but unfortunately did not know that they got their vehicle from here beforehand...
