I recently had services completed here and things started off well. I came in with a problem due to a noise. I was aware of a diagnostic fee and I also asked if an oil leak could be checked with the diagnostic. I was told if I got the repair completed the fee would go towards the repair. I agreed to have brake and valve cover gasket services completed ($1200+ including parts and labor) due to being informed that’s where the leak was coming from. After picking up my vehicle, which was driven no more than 20 miles after the service, I find a large size oil spot that was not there before the service. I call and I’m told I can bring it back for them to look. I was informed there was leak coming from my oil pan now and it would be $800+ to repair. I was also informed that oil was on top of the splash guard after the oil change that could have been the reason for the large spot. I declined the repair of the oil pan gasket repair at the time but was told I would need to pay the $192 diagnostic fee to get my vehicle. I was not informed of this prior to bringing it back to them to review services performed by them and based on what I was told cause the large oil spot was due to standing oil from the oil change. I called customer service and was told I’d receive a call within few days. I gave extra time due to the holidays and still no word.
Update: called the number below again. They gave me a claim number and still nothing.
Not at all satisfied. My inspection failed due to my tail light assembly was damaged but was in working condition. Wires were not exposed. If this was a valid reason for failure why even do the inspection?? It was quite obvious. Ill take it elsewhere, and see if thats a state violation.
The staff at Meineke of Jamestown is unfailingly polite, friendly and helpful. In addition, they're efficient and accommodating, plus, they obviously know what they're doing. Their shop has been a go-to for me for years now, and I expect that will be the case for many years to come.
I am very happy with the service I received at Meineke. They were able to fix my issue and problem without up sailing because something that I didn’t have to have done, like other repair companies do.
Waited in the lobby for 20 minutes with my 18 month old (we were the only ones there, shouldn't have even taken that long) for an inspection only to find out my car failed because of tires. Could've told me that after looking at it for 5 mins and I would've left.

They use refurbished parts and don't disclose that to you up front.
They also just tried to charge us $500 for a battery replacement. On top of a $160 diagnostic fee. Legit Crooks and they know it. We will never do business with them again.
My experience was good. The staff is always pleasant and willing to help. They've fixed my car a few times and have done a great job and for that I'm very grateful.
My car was having hesitation in take off. The technician did a test drive to help determine the problem. They immediately recognized a potential transmission issue and recommended the best transmission specialist for me to visit in Greensboro. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff of friendly people. I love my Jamestown Meineke crew. I have been a customer since they have been in Jamestown. I trust them. I no longer live in Jamestown but drive from Rural Hall to have my oil changed.
Please with the oil change and turned out I needed brake pad badly so all that was taken care of.

I usually go here for my car maintenance needs. What I really appreciate about Meineke Jamestown is their honesty. I had an issue with my car and instead of trying to charge me and not actually fixing, they told me it was an issue beyond their scope and that it should go to the dealership.
Luckily, that issue was under warranty, but that's not the point. The fact they didn't try to make a dollar off of me let me know that this was a place of integrity. I will ALWAYS recommend this location for car care.
AND everyone is so nice. And they do great work.
UPDATE: Since the last repair, I've had another issue with the car. They repaired it. Again, straightforward, honest service. I don't go anywhere else for my auto repairs. If they can't get my that day is usually by the next day. And with their great service, I can wait because I know it'll be done right.
Very professional, friendly staff. Work was done (oil change, tire rotation, brake fluid flushed and replaced AND NC inspection) all before the quoted time frame. Only extra work required was replacing the engine compartment filter. As an added bonus, I got the chance to chat with the owner’s toddler! Too sweet!
Meineke was very helpful and thorough with my repairs to my 2013 Ford Escape. They ran a diagnostic test to determine why my car was leaking coolant and discovered I needed a hose replaced. Brought my car back for the repairs and they completed it within 2 and a half hours. I also appreciate the convenience of being able to book an online appointment and leave my car there for repairs and pick it up after the work was done.
Professional mechanics and excellent customer service! Clear information about what might be needed and estimated cost. The work that was done was completed quickly and accurately, and I felt I could trust the mechanic when he explained what was needed. It’s rare these days to find a shop with courteous and trustworthy staff with cost effective repairs. Highly recommend, and they will be working on our cars from now on. Very appreciative of their excellent service!
This is the 3rd or 4th time I’ve had my car worked on at this Meineke Car Care. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. When I make an appointment, they always get to my car in a timely manner. They always provide information about services that might be needed in the near future without being pushy.
Really appreciate this business. Went in for an alignment without an appointment. Everyone there was friendly and so helpful. Due to computer issues with my car they were not able to complete my repair, but fully explained the issue and how to take care of it. Thanks for your help Meineke team!

Like all automotive shops, there can be long wait times. However, they do work efficiently. I recommend getting there around opening time, if you want a chance at the shortest wait.
Update to say that they are still fabulous! My most recent visit (8/21/2023) was as good as they've all been. Most noteworthy part of my time spent waiting during this visit is that I got to see for myself that they truly care about and value their employees. That just made me love this place even more. ?
