I rarely write reviews but I was so amused by some of the ridiculous reviews and my experience with Carolina Wrecking was so good that I felt obligated to share. I was in need of a fender for a 20 year old Honda with a specific paint code. Carolina Wrecking was the only salvage yard within driving distance with the part I needed. I called yesterday and the helpful lady who answered the phone verified the part I needed was available. I began the over three hour drive this morning and called two hours before arriving to let them know I was coming so they could pull the part. I also asked to see the headlight, although I wasn't sure I wanted to purchase. When I arrived they had the parts ready to go and were kind enough to include the inner fender liner for free. The headlight was in great condition with none of the plastic tabs being broken off. I could not ask for a better experience. I highly recommend.
Went in Carolina auto salvage asking for a part and the older lady was so rude. Before going to this run down place keep it moving on down to AAA Auto Salvage. They’re way better.
I have never had a business transaction like I had with this place.
These folks run their business like it's 1953, and are rude and confrontational. If you need a part so bad that this is the only place that has it on mother earth, sell the car... it's not worth the hassle that you will ultimately have with these people.

They always got an attitude 24/7. Specifically, that elderly white lady in the front desk. Very horrible attitude ALL THE TIME.
This week i needed part and Carolina Wrecking Company the only place that has it. And its only 20 min away from me. But with that elder woman attitude i decided to I drive 2 hr at another junkyard to get the parts.
All my dealer friends does the same now. No one likes going over there.

Where can I start…. The owners were heaven sent I promise. From the phone call about the parts I needed, to the actual experience at facility exceeded my expectations of customer service. They located my parts, pulled my cars and even went out their way and located me an amazing mechanic and towing service. I told them my story and they helped me out from the beginning to the end. They made me feel very comfortable and their support and service was amazing. Very friendly and genuine. I will not use anyone else!
Don't do any business with this place, they sell parts that are already no good, they not friendly at all!! I wish I could leave no stars. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE!! USE AAA auto salvage right beside them!!!
After yrs doing business with this ppl even though there there attitude is rude and careless they do sometimes have what we where looking for, so kinda had to deal with it. Recently just bought an engine for a customer and we admitted to made a mistake. We tried to see if we could work something out with them, they completely ignore all the part I’ve bought in the past and the one we could continue to buy from there and decided to keep the money for the engine. And not do anything about, as a business person been so closed mind and miserable, to your customers ppl you count to stay in business usually don’t take you any where. Best luck to them and the horrible business and customer service.

Was looking for a part to my VW and I spoke to a very knowledgeable, very helpful gentleman by the name of Johnny. Not only did he take the time to answer my questions but he also gave me tips to help fix my car. Cannot say the same for other places. I highly recommend them based on professionalism and customer service.
Called and spoke with Cathy. She verified they had the part, Was waiting on me when I got there. We plugged it in to verify it worked. Great part for the price. Fast and friendly experience!
Big time frauds..... I bought a starter they said was good from them. Guess what !!! Junk. Got to looking at the starter and noticed it was already a used part someone bought and they resold it... It has the previous markings from wherever it was bought before..... So what I did is called and made up a story that I needed the engine that the starter came off and was told it was blow with over 260000 miles. Don't buy from these rip offs.
Very helpful family ran business willing to help others. I have purchased parts at good rates and was treated well every time. They treat people and customers like they would want to be treated. They come highly recommended
This is the largest fraud of a company. Absolutely sell trash parts and have no regards for customers. Their part what visibly defective and they wouldn’t accept an online receipt I had for parts. Don’t trust this literal junk yard.

Everything has been changed and was changed by an ASE certified mechanic. The part is visibly not in working condition. I drive from 45 minutes away for a $50 part. Realistically speaking, if the matter wasn't resolved at the time, I would spend more money and time justifying a visually bad part. This company has 0 regards for customers and when attempting to show receipts from online purchases, said only physical receipts. Terrible company plain and simple, no warranty was voided but it is obvious you attempt to play your customers. Will upload pictures of visually bad "tested" compressor thats leaking freon on back side.
These guys are incredible! I literally had no place else left to find the part I needed and Johnny went way above and beyond to help me get my car running again. I'll go to Carolina Wrecking Company first now because of the tremendous customer service and friendliness of the staff. Thank you guys so very much!!!
Carolina Wrecking is a well respected family owned business in the High Point area. They are always my first point of contact when I am in need of quality used parts to finish the many restoration products I am involved with. The staff is very knowledgeable, professional, and always willing to give assistance. I have never been treated rudely, or been misinformed by the staff. For used auto parts, this should be your first call. Pricing is very competitive, and the quality of parts is above average for this industry. If you are prepared to supply the staff the correct information for the part you need, you will leave satisfied, and will become a repeat customer. Carolina Wrecking is the only used auto parts supplier I conduct business with.
Went here instead AAA, glad I had wrong place cause front counter help was short and rude! I will not debate nonsense. First off, reply to their reply... no one screamed, got loud or raised voice to counter help or staff, I was calm and a little confused because my GPS sent me to this place instead of AAA. Simply put YOUR reply is a blantant lie and shows what type of company this is. Obviously, by other reviews people have similar feelings. If you can't take criticism from anyone coming through those doors as a business owner those doors need to close. Have a blessed day and tell the actual truth next time you reply.
I called and asked about the part for my car, the lady that answered was very helpful had the part waiting when I arrived. Once I got there had a feeling something wasn’t right because the man that sold it not once made eye contact and was very short. I bought the part anyway only $40 plus tax, but once I get my car and the part to the auto shop the mechanic tells me the part I bought was worse than the one I have on my car. To save time I fixed the bad parts on my car costing me more money. I call the company to inform them what the mechanic told me he said all parts are tested before leaving out so I may want to check with another mechanic. The one I used was very reputable and certified, but I wanted to know. Now I take the part to preferred mechanics of Uber because I’m an Uber driver and now this makes 3 different mechanics tells me the same about the part. My car is fixed now but I will never buy any parts from this place again. I can’t believe a company would do this to someone that was just trying to do business with them! Never again will I just give money away and now I see why there is so many posting in the building saying no returns, no exchanges. Moral of this story is I wasted $40 and will never do business here again!
It was a pretty good experience got the right part return was pretty easy someone else bought the part I bought it back so if you want to give me the money back cash which is probably a good thing so I really enjoyed having business with them
Came in today looking for some parts for my truck. They showed them online and when I arrived it was as advertised and the staff was more than helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for used as well as new parts for their vehicles.
Old lady at front desk was snappy when I was asking the name of place because I didn't know if I was in right place or not been im not from here an so much stuff around. Was gonna ask about a part I was needing but nevermind. Working with public need to be kind. Have a bless day.
