I prefer this recycling center because they accept glass bottles. The yard is always clean and the staff is always willing to answer questions and direct you as needed.
Very handy place to leave your garbage then take recycling items to the appropriate bins for plastic, paper, etc. Makes you feel that your recycling is helping to partially offset the garbage you are leaving. Positive experience for many years and helpful and kind employees.
This location is Well maintained and most of the staff is friendly. I went today (Monday) and had a mixture of trash, plastic bottles, small metal items, and cardboard boxes (shout out to YOU Amazon!). I also appreciate they have a small shed out there that you can leave donations to others who may be in need and if you have a need you can just take what is in there. The location has easy access but it is often crowded.
I have been going to this center for many years and it has always been a positive experience. Very pleasant employees and very clean place. They are very helpful too.
Regular hours, lots of options for recycling, always clean and helpful. Happy I have a place close to downtown Bessemer City to recycle corrugated cardboard, mixed paper, glass, plastic, aluminum and steel cans. They also take auto oils, batteries, tvs, appliances etc. You need a garb card to drop off trash, unless you’re bringing recycling then they let you drop for free.
The employees are friendly and helpful, encouraging people to recycle, because bags of recycled plastic and cans even cardboard counts to cover the cost of dumping regular garbage. IT PAYS YOU TO RECYCLE! Great deal 😇
I'm a true recycler and was pleased with the fact that the was a bin for household batteries. This last visit they had taken the bin away because they could get no one to pick up used batteries. I was told I would have to throw them in with the trash. Fortunately I have an alternative and can recycle small batteries at work.
Awesome people. Very polite!! I showed up right at closing time and the gentleman still let me dump and recycle bc i was just in the nick of time. I appreciated the kindness!!
