I would give zero stars if I could. My car was towed by the HOA. I called Pat's and explained to the lady who answered the phone that I'm battling cancer and financially I'm just not able to pay the then $685(for 13 miles) to get my car out that's been increasing $60 per day since 9/15. I asked her about a fee waiver even a payment plan only to be coldly told "you need to bring cash or the title and the key." Like really whatever happened to compassion? I can provide paperwork to validate what I'm dealing with physically and my financial situation. Sadly it seems all this place cares about is a dollar or taking someone's vehicle.

We dropped our car off on 8/26 for body work from hitting a deer and was told that if we had received a check from the insurance company do not cash or deposit it we had to bring it to them so we dropped the check off the following day 8/27. Lady gave us a reciept that said Total Balance Due: 1340.13 Payments received:1830.85 Remaining Balance: -490.72 On 9/2 I called to get an update and was told that the parts were there and they were gonna try their best to get done by Friday 9/5 but may be first of the week so on Monday we stopped by the shop since we were going by it anyway and the guy proceeds to tell us that car isn't done that the parts didn't come in till Thursday or Friday 9/4 or 9/5 and that the hood came in damaged and was sent to the body guy to fix! So finally on on Tuesday 9/9 the car was finished and when we went to pay the price from the original estimate had went up significantly and nobody from the shop bothered to call us to inform us of the price increase went from $1840 to $2679! Also isn't fixing the hood that was damaged in shipping is no different that fixing the hood that was already damaged in the wreck? Communication was definitely lacking especially when we were told on 9/2 all parts arrived and then on 9/8 was told they didn't arrive till 9l4 or 9/5 and nobody was even gonna tell us that the hood arrived damaged and they were just gonna fix it instead of giving us the option of sending back to get another one! Maybe I'm just not that smart but somehow the numbers just don't add up!

Back on 8/27/25 I called for a tow at like 7:45pm because my car overheated and I was stuck in a not so nice area of Winston and my husband wouldn't answer his phone. Unfortunately, the dispatcher, Kevin, informed me their only driver was coming back from Boone and would be a while before he could get me so I would be better off calling another tow company. Kevin gave me a few names to try and was extremely apologetic cause he could tell I was extremely upset, and concerned about where I happened to breakdown. So I started calling other tow companies and then one finally answered and could come in a reasonable time... Kevin at Pat's called me back to make sure I had someone coming to me and stayed on the phone with me until my husband (finally) got to my location. That is some top tier, A1, customer service right there. Kevin is awesome and talked with me and calmed me down. While I didn't get to actually use Pat's towing service this time, my husband does use them often to bring "side projects" to my house. They have always done a good job towing whatever cars my husband asks them to. Never had an issue.

We used Pat’s Towing (through AAA) after having our car involved in an accident. They were very responsive with excellent communication and updates provided on when our car would arrive. William was our driver and he called with an update once he picked up our car and gave us an estimated time of arrival and another once he arrived with our car at the repair shop. They were great to work with and we highly recommend Pat’s Towing.

William from Pats body shop towed my car from kernersville to raleigh! Triple AAA sent him my way and I was very thankful for his thoroughness and kindness during this stressful time! He was quick and polite, sending pictures of my car before pick up and after! So thankful for good service! Thank you William for traveling so far for me!!

This wasn’t a stop I planned on but someone hit my car and i have always know they have a great reputation. Don’t go to the dealership, give this reputable company a try if you need body work.

One of the employees sold me what I believed at the time to be 18 inch wheels. I discovered that they were actually 17 inch wheels when I got home, and when I asked for a refund he agreed at first, but then turned hostile on the day I was supposed to bring them back.

Had a scare today in my work vehicle. Had a tire blow out on me just as I pulled off the highway and my nerves were shot. First time for everything I assume. So I called Pats to get ot towed to the shop that does our fleet work and they were quick to get this matter handled. William, the tow truck driver, was extremely polite, professional and caring. First thing he asked was if I was ok. He was very thoughtful and made sure I had everything I need out of the work van, triple checked with me that he was taking it to the correct place, and most of all it was very affordable. All tow companies have weekend rates so that wasn't surprising, however the cost was...in the best way possible. My family has used them in the past and I will continue to use them. William, Sir, thank you for your assistance today. You did an amazing job!!

Top notch work in a reasonable amount of time. Yhey also were very helpful in sourcing the parts needed. I will be recommending them to my friends and family as well as using them again if Im in need of any body work in the future

Huge shout out to William. He was the one to pick me up when I was two hours out. It was my first break down ever, and he made it easy and made the entire trip completely painless. He made an extra effort to get me home even after dropping my vehicle off. I can’t recommend Pat’s Body Shop enough. 10/10 would break down on the highway again.

Thank you so very much to Pat’s body shop TOWING and a huge shout out to William Newman. After being in an accident in Blowing Rock while on vacation, William drove to pick up my van and tow it back to the shop. He was so kind and friendly, and just put me at ease after an extremely stressful day. I appreciate all that he and the crew there did to help me in a very stressful time. 100% would recommend. Thank you William, you are amazing and thank you to everyone there for being so kind and helpful.

I was visiting family in North Carolina from New York over Father’s Day weekend when my car suddenly began to overheat. Out of all the places I called, Pat’s Body Shop and Towing were the only ones who responded—and I’m so grateful they did. They were kind, prompt, and incredibly helpful during a stressful moment. I felt genuinely cared for and fortunate to have found them. Highly recommend their service if you’re ever in need!

Had to get suspension, paint, and body work after a hit to the rear quarter panel and wheel. Talked to Suzi in the office and she had everything lined up within a day. Everybody on the towing side was great as well. Body work, suspension, and paint were immaculate and done about as timely as expected. This was 12 year old tri coat pearl red on a Charger and I am pleased with the matching. I had a minor issue with the alignment but Blake and the guys had it handled immediately after I let them know. In fairness, this was an insurance job, so I can’t speak on price, but the work itself was absolutely on point and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

Since my first call for tow service over the weekend, everything began to roll in as smooth as possible. Plus, they could fix/replace several items that the dealership was not able to do due to a 2001 vehicle. But, they found the parts etc. with very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend Pat's Body Shop! Really impressed with the entire staff attitude and experienced mechanic!!

From the moment I called for assistance, William was incredibly professional and attentive. He arrived promptly and handled my vehicle with care, explaining each step of the towing process. I accidentally got locked out of my truck and William was the amazing person who came to help me. It was as perfect of an interaction as anyone could possibly ask for. He was very quick at getting my truck unlocked and was more careful than most people I’ve seen. He was an absolute blessing and a great help.

After a collision in my 2022 Toyota Highlander, I needed to identify a body shop that could do the repair. I spoke to nearly 10 different places, and was most impressed by Pat's Body Shop and Towing. The rest of my experience did not disappoint either! I worked with Charles from the very first call, and was highly impressed with his patience with my questions, great customer service and knowledge of what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix it. He also did a wonderful job communicating with me throughout the process. I was even further impressed when I visited Pat's and interacted with their office manager. She was wonderful, thorough and kind. Additionally, their lobby area is head and shoulders above anywhere else I've been. While not the most important factor during a car repair, a well taken care of lobby makes you feel even more at peace that your car is going to be well taken care of too. Pat's finished the work earlier than expected and did a great job. I am so grateful for everyone at Pat's who I worked with throughout the process. I am a Pat's customer for life!

I’m a big fan of Pat’s Body Shop and Towing. I’ve used them twice, both times for a 2004 Honda Accord. Pat’s replaced the headliner so well it was indistinguishable from the factory headliner, and did so at a quite reasonable price. Pat’s also repaired a fender bender where a person backed into my driver’s side read quarter panel. The repair and paint matching were perfect. But beyond the good work, I appreciate the professionalism and flexibility displayed during my repairs. For the quarter panel repair, Pat’s provided transportation back home when dropping the car off and then brought me back once the repair was complete. Secondly, when I picked up my car, I noted Pat’s had cleaned the car to a degree I didn’t expect. It hadn’t looked that good in years! I really appreciated these extras. I highly recommend Pat’s Body Shop and Towing.

I have taken one of my vehicle's to Pat's Body Shop a total of three times, all for minor body work paid in cash. Pat's used to be the "Go To" place for Brookberry Farm, right around the corner. The first two visits I dealt with a guy, let's call "Ray". Ray knew his auto body business. Turns out, Ray was friends with another Pat's employee, a top notch paint guy. First two visits, Pat's did a good job. I was a repeat customer. The third visit was around October 2023, I did not deal with Ray. Ray was no longer there. I dealt with someone else. When my car was worked on and completed, it had two obviously different colors between the front bumper and front right wheel well panel (see photo). I brought the vehicle back to Pat's and spoke with the same guy. I gave Pat's an opportunity to make it right. He/they failed. He gave me multiple excuses but ultimately, Pat's did nothing. Ergo, the negative review. Whenever I see this obviously different color, I think of the original Batman movie with Jack Nicholson and Michael Keaton and I remember the Purple Joker car, lots of laughs. Thanks to Pat's Body Shop, I am now driving a car that looks so funny, I consider it a Joker or "Clown Car". Months later I spoke with a different former Pat's Body Shop employee. I believe he said hypothetical Ray left Pat's Body Shop and took his best of bred paint guy with him, to I believe hypothetical "Caliber Collision" on South Stratford? Next time I need vehicle body work, that is where I'm going. You do inferior work and people remember it, even over a year later. January 9, 2025 - Follow Up: One day after I posted my review, someone called me today that said they represented the owner from Pat's. This person said owner requested I come in and talk with them. Not sure why owner wouldn't call me themselves. While I appeciate the apparent peace flag, I'm not thrilled that there was no record of my return or that my honesty is being brought into question. The photo speaks for itself. I would think if the shop was truly concerned about doing a good job, it would take place with the original/first repair or the second time when I made a special trip to question them. Third time strikes me as insincere and for (online) appearances only. If talking to the owner is the only way to get resolution, customers with grievences should probably talk directly to the owner. Maybe establish a new company policy for all customers and not just the squeaky wheels? January 18, 2025: After thinking about it, updated review from one(1) star to two(2) stars. Business made an attempt to make things right.

Update: the owner personally invited me in for a car detailing, which I appreciate. Changing my review to reflect this. Guys, I wanted to support them because their receptionist is so nice but I don’t have much else to say that’s positive. It took them two times to actually fix the problem properly (sunroof replacement) and after picking up my car with the problem finally solved, other pieces of electronics were left in disarray. Not only that but pieces of glass were left everywhere in my car AND oil? stains in the form of handprints are all over the inside of my car. It’s going to cost me time and effort to clean this all or hire someone. I’ve attached photos showing everything.

My Gen 7 Stingray Z51 was clipped from the rear and the entire rear bumpers and lamp units had to be replaced and color matched to 10 year old Velocity Yellow (of course). The baby came back in PERFECT repair with joints better than factory and a color match that was just unbelievably perfect. All performed by a staff dedicated to customer service. They put up with my nagging and stupid questions with kind patience AND support. The work was completed on time and Icouldn't have been more pleased. Pat's Body Shop is 1st rate.

YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER BODY SHOP! I’ve had to take my car to Pat’s 3 times over the past 5 years. If it’s a run-a-way grocery cart, a rear end, or someone backed into you…..that’s my unfortunates, they are the kindest and most understanding, and most professional shop! Somehow it always comes back looking better than when dropped off even before the damage. They understand it’s your baby, and they treat it like your baby. Just in my experience…..you’re making a mistake taking your repair anywhere else.

William with Pats towing gave me an estimate of $350 to tow my trailer less than a half mile from its location. I agreed to the price and awaited the trailer returned to my house. When William arrives on the scene he calls and says that the $350 price we agreed upon is no longer valid and couldn’t give me a price on how much it was going to cost. He also informed me that he would be keeping my trailer until I paid the bill in full. Keep in mind here are the pictures of where the trailer sat when they came to tow it. Any 4 wheel drive truck could have pulled this trailer out. William proceeded to take my trailer to his shop and informs me that I can’t come pick it up until Monday. Keep in mind the trailer was 175 yards away from my house. He also told me that I need to pay $990 and $60 a day storage to get my property back. He originally quoted me $350 and now wants me to pay for over 3 times the agreed upon cost. From all the recent reviews on this company they won’t be around much longer with how they operate. Beware at all costs using this company.

Terrible experience. What a disappointment. I don't like to write bad reviews, but this one is worthy of one. Sorry for the length, but perhaps this few minute read could save you days, weeks, or years of disappointment. We had a small dent above our rear wheel (see picture) and here is the list of issues we had to deal with: 1) We were told that our car would be in the shop for 6 business days (8 including weekend). They wound up holding it over 14 days after delays. Why a small dent would take that long, I don't know. Turns out our insurance company told us they didn't start until day 4 or 5 and weren't going to reimburse our car rental fees while it was sitting there. Very frustrating. 2) Never once did we receive a phone call with an update. We called the day the car was supposed to be done so that we could get an update. Was told our estimator would call us back. Nothing day one. Called the next day. Told the same thing. Nothing day two. Called the third day. Told the car would be ready that afternoon by the receptionist. We called that afternoon before coming to pick it up and the receptionist said they needed a couple extra days (after the Thanksgiving holidays, so it was really 5-6 extra days). Called back after day 6 and was told, "ah yes, it's ready for pickup." Never once did we get a call from the estimator who was the alleged point of contact or from anyone who initiated communication. 3) When we came to pick it up, turns out the detailers used ammonia on the tinted windows which caused it to bubble. They were quickly trying to replace the tint. It took 30 minutes for them to do the window (I've had multiple windows tinted in a fraction of the time before). A few times we looked to see what the delay was and found several men investigating the window. When the car was pulled around, we found out why. Their was a scratch in the window and a bubble in the tint. There was also residual paint from the repair on the lower panel and we noticed they never replaced the protective film edging on the door so it was very rough to the touch. No one offered an explanation of this. Guess they hoped we'd never say anything. We pointed this out and they said they would look into it. We had to leave our car there yet another day. 4) Next day, no call of course. I called to find out what the status was. "Oh, it's ready" by the front receptionist (no call from anyone to let me know it's ready). We come to pick up. Paint is still on the fender with no sign of an attempt to fix (see picture). Protective film was not added back. The window looked like fine grit sandpaper was used to reduce the appearance of the scratch.....when all it left was more noticeable micro abrasions that are even more noticeable in the sunlight (see picture). Bubble in the tint? Still there....just a little smaller (see picture). All in all, a terrible experience. Unfortunately, we regret choosing Pat's Body Shop.

Stopped in for an estimate. Was met with promptly, the paperwork provided quickly, and out the door ready to speak with the insurance company. Thanks folks! UPDATE: The work is done and we couldn't be happier. The body and paint look great AND it was done a week and a half early!! We had a small issue upon delivery and Pat's was receptive, stood behind their work, and committed to resolve our issue promptly after they were paid. We will most certainly do business with them again.
