I have had work on my car done twice at this shop. The work is impeccable, on time and they detailed my car each time. Such a pleasure to pick up a clean car. The guys were a little gruff with this woman but they are very busy and I didn't take it personally
A true angel was what was sent to me the night of 10-21-2025, unfortunately I was driving and recklessly popped the hole in my tire. Thankfully Ray's body shop is partnered with AAA, and in my case they were the first responders to my emergency. At 12:00 at night. I feel bad I wasn't able to get the guy's name, but he was truly a blessing in disguise. Unfortunately I gave him the wrong information about my spare and didn't have the part that was needed to take my spare off, but thankfully this guy had the necessary tools in helping me to take the spare off. If it wasn't for this blessing in disguise I can only imagine how long I would have been sitting outside of the gas station in the cold of night. I was so grateful that this young man was able to respond to my cry for help. He could have refused service, but thankfully he had the heart to be motivated enough to help an unfortunate soul.
Awful. Rude. Condescending. Wanted a quote to get my Honda Fit painted. The rude gut said it would take a year for him to get to it and cost $6,000. The worst service ever. First another place.
Asked for a simple tow estimate and he wanted to play vague games about the who what where and why of my vehicle to determine goes much to charge. Did not find me a concrete answer for pricing which is super shady.
I had such a great experience at this shop! From the moment I reached out, they were responsive, clear, and incredibly helpful. They answered every question I had — from how long the repairs would take, to the expected cost, to when they could get me scheduled. I never felt rushed or brushed off.
They even worked with my schedule to find the best time for me to drop off my vehicle, which made everything so much easier. The repair work was fantastic — my car looks brand new, and everything was done exactly when they said it would be.
It was such a refreshing experience to feel respected and heard throughout the entire process. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants honest communication and quality work. I’ll absolutely be coming back if I ever need repairs again.
Matt towed our vehicle a few weeks ago. He was very kind and helpful. But we felt bad watching him struggle with his truck. He looked exhausted pulling on that cable. My husband wanted to help him pull but Matt said no, that was dangerous and a liability. We appreciated he wanted to keep us safe on the side of the highway but he shouldn't have to struggle that hard to do what could be a lot more pleasant job for him if he had the proper equipment. My husband commented that his Ford looked pathetic and weak and sounded awful. It was clean as a whistle though. In a situation like that he needs to be in equipment THAT WORKS. If you have a golden worker like that you should do better by him. That truck sounded like it was falling apart when he drove off. Because your guy is awesome and the best tow guy we've ever had. He takes professionalism to a whole other level. If you don't give that guy what he's truly worth, someone else will. Do better Ray's. The stars are for Matt, not you.
Almost 40 days to replace a door and headliner sunroof visor and paint. Communication was terrible. I had to harass the shop every time I called. The insurance check almost expired because it took so long.
Ray's surpassed my expectations. Not only did they complete the body work they were hired to do, but they also thoroughly cleaned the car before returning it, and they left a joyful Christmas note and card as well. We highly recommend Ray's!
This company is the best!! The young men of this company really show the love of God to their customers and treat everyone with respect. They also do a great job on repairs and leave little gifts in your car when they finish. I love it!!
My son's car was hit by another driver earlier this fall and he was given a referral to Ray's from our insurance company. We could not be happier with the experience with Ray's. The car was repaired within the time estimate given. Everything was fixed the first time, the car was returned clean, inside and out, and our son was surprised by several small tokens of appreciation when he picked up the car, including a hat and a calendar. My husband even received a handwritten thank you card, sent to our home in California. Thank you very much for doing the job quickly, efficiently and well. We are quite a distance away and didn't have to worry at all about what was happening. While I hope we don't have any further need for a body shop, we're very pleased with your services and will give a recommendation to anyone who asks.

John at Ray's was nothing but helpful from the first call I made inquiring about getting my car towed. He was so helpful and communicative, and gave me a quote right there. He also was accommodating regarding timing for the job to get done.
When it came to getting the job done, he again was communicative (I was not there, just needed a disabled car moving from A to B) the whole way through the pick up to drop off to payment, even sending me photos of the car on the truck, and then it placed in the drop off location.
Highly recommended.
My friend's hybrid got stranded in the middle of the road. Ray's was called through his coverage with his auto insurance. The first call was made before 4 pm, during business hours. Tow truck never showed by the time deadline that was given. Ray's was dispatched again, this time they were supposed to be out by 7 pm. Again they didn't show up. We called the number for Ray's, got a rude individual that wouldn't stop talking long enough to explain the urgency of the situation. (My wife and my friend's wife had to direct traffic around the car for HOURS.) First he said it got cancelled on his end. Later he said it got cancelled by the insurance company. He already had all the details of the car, the location, and where it was to be towed to in his computer. He kept very slowly repeating that he would have to research what happened and call my friend back in 5 minutes. He became upset each time we tried to speak back to him. He seemed confused when he was supposed to hang up the phone and kept trying to reanswer the phone (Ray's... Ray's...). He never called back in 5 minutes, or at all. Finally the insurance dispatched another company which showed up about 9:30 pm. So about 5 1/2 hours after Ray's was called my friend got a tow truck.
Ray's made my 9-year old car look new again. The body work needed was minor but the extra attention to detail on the entire vehicle was appreciated. The team is very professional and clearly values its customers. If you need body work on your car - go here.
I didn’t actually have the pleasure of being serviced by this company for a tow due to unforeseen reasons but I had the pleasure of meeting John who came to tow me and again for unforeseen reasons could not but helped me tremendously with getting things figured out. He was very knowledgeable, 100% honest and great to talk with. If I ever need a tow again in the Winston area I would definitely shoot for them!!
Had to have my car towed out of a basement garage downtown, very impressed with their ability to get it out! They sent two drivers and two trucks to move it out, both took plenty of time making sure it wouldnt get damaged in the process. Ray's was super easy to work with, and I would definitely would call them for anything and recommend them to everyone! (Just hopefully not for anything this obnoxious again)
Ray’s is a great body shop to work with if you need to get body or frame work. You can see that they love the work that they do. My Wrangler was hit in the rear and they were able to get it fixed up so well that you would not know that it has been hit.

My mom scraped a brick wall with her van and damaged the front bumper. We contacted Ray's Body Shop and they got her van in immediately and finished a day ahead of schedule. When she picked up her van it had been cleaned inside and out. She had an array of goodies on her front seat including a calendar, ice scraper, and pocket planner. Several days after picking up her van she received a handwritten thank you note, just simply thanking her for her business. Ray's went above and beyond what was necessary and did an amazing job fixing her car. You can't tell there was ever any damage. We will spread the word that Ray's is the best!
Rays is really great! They took great care of my car. Service was quick (bumper replacement) and they were communicative through the whole process as parts were ordered and came in. Car looks amazing and the fellas are real nice.
John went above and beyond to help me and my husband and 6 month old. My car broke down in the intersection and the cops had to call this towing company because we were in the way and our towing company we use was to far. We fully expected them to bill us a huge amount to tow it over 45 minutes but thankfully they were extremely affordable and on top of it John completely did more then he was expected to. If your looking for a towing company that is extremely friendly and affordable then I HIGHLY recommend John.
Thoroughly impressed. Must admit, I was getting a bit frustrated with them about some unreturned calls, but it turns out they were just busy doing an AWESOME job! They really went above and beyond my expectations. Great attention to detail, and a perfect job replacing a damaged door. Highly recommend them and advise to just let them take as long as they need without worrying about it. They know what they are doing and the end result will be worth the wait.
I did not wreck my car/car's but a 100 ft tree fell on both of my vehicles and crushed one of them and totaled them both. Matt was Super helpful and understanding about everything and just really did a excellent job all together. He contacted me via phone before they even got the trees removed from my vehicle's he stayed in contact and responded to me with every question I had no matter what time of day it was and got everything resolved very Quickly. I highly recommend Ray's and I am very thankful for Matt going the extra mile to help me.

Awesome customer experience. Ray’s did a great job repairing my SUV bumper. They are friendly, polite, and explained the process of working with the insurance company and completing the job. End product was great. I value their Christian beliefs. We need more of Ray’s services in our communities. I would much rather go to a small and local business than a big one and just be a number. Definitely recommended.
I highly recommend this place!!! I had hit a deer and filed a claim with my insurance and this is where they sent me to get my car fixed. Could not ask for better service! Very professional and quick and communicate with you all the way! I would definitely go back and have them work on my vehicle again for sure. Don't worry about them not wearing mask in your car because they clean it very good after they get done with it smelled so clean and fresh they respect your vehicle. Also they had given my car a bath and shined it up for me they did not have to do that also the interior was cleaned. They went over what they fixed with me and showed me. Best service ever. I was impressed big time.

Outstanding experience with the services and customer service of the staff of Ray's Body Shop and Wrecker service. Several months ago, they repaired a door on my car where a deer ran into it. When I picked it up, I noticed another dent that I did not see on the back door that was also caused by the deer incident. Staff was an advocate for me when I contacted my insurance company. Then a few days ago, my window would not roll up (when rain was expected the next day) and my wife stopped by their office to see if they had time to look at it (on a Friday). Without any hesitation, staff advised her they would. They made the repairs AND they did NOT charge me!!! This really humbled me as they did not have to do this nor did they have to fit me in without an appointment. In today's world, there are not many businesses and people who do thing to help others without a dollar sign attached. Staff at Ray's is NOT like this and I fully recommend them for repairs needed. Oh then to top this off, they washed my car and left me a complimentary bottle of water!!! They are truly old school. Their professional work and outstanding customer service is one if a kind!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH STAFF!!
