Davis Towing did and excellent job in getting me out of a serious bind!
My enormous service van broke down in the middle of Stratford Rd and I was blocking 2 lanes and it was heavy traffic that hour. MAKING IT WORSE I had to call my client to tell her I was going to be delayed for I don't know how long... People were crossing into oncoming traffic lanes to get around me. It's a miracle no one got in a wreck. People are crazy on the road and have no patience.
Someone recommended to call Davis towing I gave them a shot, he answered right away. He told me the price which was less than I had expected since my van was pretty big, and somebody got it out to me promptly.
The driver was cautious in loading and unloading.
All around they helped me out big time. Great professional people. Really appreciate you guys!

Davis Towing helped me get a vintage car from one location to my home, about 10 miles away in Winston-Salem. I spoke to Chris on the phone, he had Mike Crawford to me in less than 1/2 hour. I’ve backed trailers before, my downhill curved driveway is no easy task. Mike did a great job backing my car down the drive and got it safely in the garage. Good people! If you a great guy to come pick you up when your sitting sideways in street and thinking you gonna freeze to death boom DJ shows up and rescues me loaded my SUV no problem while I sat in his truck to get warm! Had a truck get stuck in in the road, halfway in a parking lot, another tow company actually recommended these guys. They were quick to have someone come block traffic, and get us unstuck. Our driver Chris, was incredibly friendly and made sure that we got out without getting stuck again. He even thought traffic for us a little bit, would highly recommend
I had a broken transmission while in Shelby, NC. AAA was not taking any roadside assistance calls due to the hurricane Helene emergency, so I called my old friend Eddie at Davis. He immediately dispatched a tow truck for a tow 101 miles away. The driver arrived on time, was very professional, and brought my Jeep back to Winston-Salem. I couldn't have asked for better service! Sucks my Jeep broke, but getting it, and myself and fiancé, back home ASAP from a far distance away without any further issues made it sting a little less. This place is awesome! A driver named Austin came out to tow my truck to my mechanics shop <25 miles away. I was soo worried I would get overcharged bc I all over towing in kernersville charged me 3850 for a 2 miles tow in the past.
These guys are the real deal, keep in mind if it’s an emergency situation that certainly changes the prices, but in non emergency I only paid 330 which is unheard of. Anytime I ever need my truck towed I know exactly who to call!
Our family was traveling to the Outer Banks in a Silverado truck that was pulling a utility trailer. Outside of Winston-Salem we started having engine troubles and were able to limp to a Firestone. They checked us out and said it was beyond their scope of services to fix. So here we are sitting in their parking lot in 90+ heat. We contacted our AAA and sat waiting for a response from them for an 1 1/2 hours. We started calling towing companies from an internet search and because it was a holiday weekend the first four could not help us. When we called number five, Davis Towing, we spoke to Ed Hunter and he vowed not to leave us stranded. Good for his word, one of their men came and towed truck/trailer to their secure lot and he came and drove us to a hotel so we could get some rest and decide what we wanted to do!!!! This was a God Send!! The next day we were able to rent a U-Haul with a hitch. We drove to Davis Towing and their people helped us unload the Silverado into the U-Haul and hook up the trailer. They towed the truck back to Huntington, WV. We are more than thankful for their excellent customer service. They went above and beyond and saved our vacation!!!
Towed me and my big truck when I was stuck in Winston Salem and in a pinch. They were quick, friendly, and reasonably priced. They got me out of the ditch and back on the road in no time. Will definitely use them again in a heart beat.

Oh my dogs! I am so thankful for Ed & Tay!! My truck shut down and wouldn’t start up last night… I spent a good bit of time in the woods in the dark alone. Davis responded to an accident that we were involved in. The driver was very Informative of what to expect and what to do. After the insurance advised us that the car would be totaled, Davis let us come and take our things out of the car and supplied us with tools to remove the plate. We were happy under the circumstances.
Davis Towing was careful with my vehicle, and willing to meet me after hours so I could get it back. The gentleman was kind an efficient, taking my payment. I recommend them for any towing needs you might have.
AAA had a company that was going to come out and the didn’t notify us they had cancelled then they got this company. Davis Towing and Recovery was excellent in communicating with us along the way as we waited. They even were able to fit all of us in their flatbed cabin . They made a special accommodation trading trucks to get us home safely . They were friendly and professional and would recommend their services if needed.
Thanks to Chris & Davis Towing for rescuing us when our Tesla ran out of charge & we were stuck about 45 minutes from home. Chris was professional, polite & very friendly. He made our bad situation so much better. Great guy!
