From the very first time I came to them with an issue, I was treated with kindness, respect, and genuine care. In a time when true customer service feels almost nonexistent, the way they take the time to explain things, listen, and make you feel valued really stands out.
Their pricing has also been more than fair every single time. Tyler always makes sure you understand exactly what you’re paying for.

Best automotive repair shop ever! Tyler was recommended to me from a friend and I'm so glad that my friend did. Tyler took care of my 2016 Toyota Camry like it was his own. I had the transmission fluid changed and the techs did an awesome job. No mess, no leaks were found. Tyler personally called me to tell me how well the job went and the condition of the fluid. He is very informative and cares about his customers. He is very fair on his prices. I'm tired of dealerships charging ridiculous rates and doing half decent repairs, just to bring them back. Tyler stands by his work. If something isn't right, he will make it right.
I met Tyler last year when I needed towing assistance from an accident on the highway & have used this company ever since. Not only do they offering towing but all mechanical work as well. I love getting my oil changes and brand new tires from here! He’s super friendly, outgoing, and hard working. I can always rely on him to fix my car in a timely manner and always have the cheapest prices in town! Not only is it affordable and convenient he also has the sweetest shop dog Chubbs who will keep you company as you wait on your car ! Overall such a great company.

A&W Auto and Towing saved us a lot of money! We had taken our car to a nearby Subaru dealership not in Winston and received an estimate to repair it. The repair job was estimated to be over $9,300.00 because they thought it needed a new transmission. Tyler and Chris thoroughly checked our Subaru and determined that the problem was due to break in a black wire. So, for less than $500.00 our problem was quickly resolved. We found Chris and Tyler to be extremely knowledgeable and efficient! We were so glad that Tyler had been recommended to us.
Ha ha! Now I can see why the company has 5 stars! Can't recommend these folks enough! I came out to A&W on a six hours drive from Maryland, and it was a great experience. Firstly, staff was super patient with me, as I was running late, and he had a very important family engagement. The warm reception was exceptional, and my transaction went very smoothly. The icing on the cake was the opportunity to meet Cheeks - the resident mascot! What a delight! Thanks, Tyler, for your patience, and the kind hospitality, bro. Hopefully our paths will cross again. My friend Don recommended A&W Auto and Towing to me. So on a rainy Friday morning I went to their shop. When I arrived, I first noticed the shop was very organized and tidy. Was welcomed by Tyler, he was under the hood working on a Chevy Classic. His team was under the hood of a Lexus. Tyler was very efficient and communicated with me throughout. I needed a new few items to fix my truck. Tyler and his skilled team fixed my problems in a timely manner. I know it cost a fraction of what it would have at the dealership. Tyler and his team were incredible. Strongly recommended!
I have been working with John and Tyler for a few years now and they do all my repair work on my cars and trucks! They also specialize in exhaust work so if you need exhaust repair or fabrication they are your guys! They are consistent, hard working and leave you knowing your issues are taken care of! Absolutely the best place to take your car for anything. Owners are very helpful and the staff works very hard and very fast. Most definitely will be back for more work in the future.

Have been trying to get this company to tow a broken down vehicle for two weeks now through aaa.(Called multiple times per day) AAA tells me that I should receive a call from the driver when he/she is on the way. NOTHING. Maybe they should find some employees with a decent work ethic.
