We have used Southside Towing for several years. Always quick response times, friendly and professional. I was in an accident yesterday and had my car towed to their facility, most likely a total loss. Stan was patient, compassionate, and kind while explaining the process to me. Huge thanks to Austin from Southside Towing of Winston-Salem. We had major car trouble on our way from Chicago to Cherry Point in Havelock, and he was truly a blessing. From the moment he arrived, he was calm, kind, and reassuring. He not only towed us safely but also used his personal connections to get us into a trusted shop that was about to close. Without him, we would have been stranded all weekend in a tough situation.
Austin went above and beyond what anyone could expect from a tow truck driver. He treated us with genuine care, made sure we were safe, and quite literally saved our trip. Today, I had to call and get south side towing to come to pick up my car because I had lost my key fob, and they needed to take it to the dealership, to get it programmed once this Decided what time they would come and where to pick my car up.They got to my house and they could not use the tow truck that they came with so they had to go back to their building to get a different tow truck, In about 5 minutes after they left, we found my key fob, so I called them to cancel and they were so graciously say that we won't charge you the whole total amount only charge me just a small portion of what they would have charged, very great company anybody ever needs a tow company this is the one!!!Thank you for all your help south side towing.

First and foremost, my husband and I are extremely thankful for your company and Aaron is phenomenal. He went above and beyond to help us after we got stranded on the highway after an oil plug came out and our truck was smoking. He arrived as quickly as he could and took us and the truck to the dealership. We were on our way to the mountains for our first vacation in years when this happened, so we're not from around Winston-Salem, but if we ever need Southside Towing again, we will definitely call them. We highly, highly recommend this company. Excellent service!!!
Came in timely manner drove me to location dropping car off to and had tow truck good and cool in this 90 degrees weather....very satisfied will be calling for future assist
Update, I called them to tow vehicle 6 miles and they wanted 100 bucks, get out of here!
I don’t know if it’s the owner or the employees, but it doesn’t matter. I have to go by this place almost every single day and if you’re behind one of their trucks and they go back to the house that their business is located, they will stop in the middle of The road and put their vehicle in reverse and back up their truck into one of the three driveways. If you try to go around them, they blow the horn and shoot you the middle finger. I wish I knew how they snuck in a business which is 100% a residential area.
Curtis was fabulous: kind, helpful, and took tender care of my car. He even waited til our Uber came for our safety. Reasonable price. They are my go to!
AAA failed us and we never got a tow truck after almost a full day. On a Sunday Southside had our vehicle picked up and delivered in an hour. Exactly what you need a towing company for! Recommended.
Southside Towing is the best. They arrived within 15 or 20 minutes of the call and sent a very professional, polite young man. Since the vehicle was located in Walkertown, we were well pleased they agreed to come out.
They assisted my nephew and were the absolute best. If you are ever in need of towing assistance, we highly recommend them. Thanks gentleman, we greatly you.
i have had my vehicle towed twice by this company and both times it was a pleasant experience. this most recent time, the gentleman that came out even helped to get my car out of the hospital parking deck because his tow truck would not fit inside. very prompt and understanding, i kept apologizing for making him come out but he reassured me and was very kind. i continue to recommend my friends/family to southside towing:)
This company RJ specifically was mean rude and unprofessional after trying to contact him for nearly a week he was mean to me and said he always answers his phone and he was obnoxious, wouldn't permit me to get my my plate off my car or the rest of my belongings out the car without paying a fee and on each occasion I spoke with him he increased the amount of money I was going to have to pay to get my own property out of my car. I DON'T RECOMMEND THEM. Rip off and after an accident. Then called my home at 745 am telling me I need to tell him where to drop my car off. Run away from them. Winston Salem police needs to be made aware of there practices because I wasn't given no choiceafter a car wreck to get my own towing company.
Ronald has been a true gem! My daughters car engine blew and it has been one thing after another trying to get it to a shop and then to figure out what to do with it after. He was so knowledgeable and helpful. He was so kind and took care of all her needs. I can't say thank you enough!!
After trying for 12+hrs to get help from AAA I started searching for someone to actually show up and help change my flat tire at a local hotel. I was referred to Southside, Brett answered the phone on a Sunday morning and treated me like gold. He immediately took information and within a hour he had arrived and changed my tire. Brett was a pleasure to work with. I am very thankful for his support while being stuck out of town with my family and a flat. We need more folks like Brett around. Thank you, truly appreciate the help I was given by this service.
I was in a total loss of vehicle accident last Thursday during rush hour, 5:30pm. I called Southside and they were on the scene within 15 minutes. Took pictures for me and towed the van to their yard. Explained the whole insurance process to me, to make sure the insurance company didn't take advantage of me or try to short change me. Very professional!
Needed a tow because my transmission died. Luckily my truck was in my driveway when it happened. Contracted two different tow company's through my insurance and after three hours one day and three hours another I called Southside towing and they were here in 20-25 minutes. I will always us them when I need a tow. I've used them twice before and they always are there quick and are friendly and helpful.
My eye’s roll in the back of my head and I huff so bad when I need to use a tow truck service. Not just because of the reason for the tow but to have to call around wait for someone to answer to start the conversation put you on hold then start and stop again finally you just hang up after the third time being put on hold. But wait..then there is Southside Tow who I called for a tow today and it was almost instantly they picked up..gave me a price a time and almost instantly again my truck driver Brian came put it on the truck and off he went!!!! I promise hands down this company has not just earned my future business but has changed my outlook on having to call around looking for a tow. There should be a Southside EVERYWHERE I would never have to worry again!! If you don’t use this company good luck being placed on hold and waiting hours for the other companies to show up!!! I started not to say anything as everyone falls short from time to time.. but me and my wife had our kids with us and this huge F750 I was texting and driving and almost put the bed in the front half of my vehicle on Salem Parkway
and then I think about it again and it pisses me off as I read your reviews. This is not the first time it’s happened. At some point it’s not just a drivers, it falls on upper management.
Call these guys and they said 20 minutes and got to me in 20 mins. will was a great driver. Customer service was wonderful and the tow price was great recommend these guys 10/10
Prices very reasonable, very polite staff, was an extremely pleasant ride. They send text notifications of when they find a driver near your area and when they will arrive, great communication. Never left in the dark like other towing companies, they keep you posted which an extremely nice feature. I was very pleased & will use again & recommend to others.
Arrived quickly and very professional! Not to mention the cheapest quote in town. Very good company! Ronald waited with me until my ride came which was about 20 minutes. He made this unpleasant transaction somewhat pleasant. I suggest this company to anyone!!!
