I was involved in a car accident on I-40 W this afternoon. Lee’s Towing came out. Pete the driver was exceptionally kind allowing me to sit in his truck while the State Trooper completed the paperwork. I was 2 hours from home! He drove me to a local restaurant and got everything out of my car. I can’t thank him enough for his kindness. You, sir made my day so much better. God bless you always

Driver cut me and multiple other drivers off in traffic while trying to make room for him to pass. Just to tow a bus for a non emergency. You are putting lives at risk with your impatience and unprofessionalism.
Horrible company. Got into a terrible wreck on i40 and this guy took complete advantage of me while I was shaken up from an almost fatal accident. Charged me $3500 to move 1 mile off the road so the troopers could open the road back up and had a smirk on his face when he told me the price. Karma will get you sir!

This is the first time I’ve had to have my car towed so I don’t really have much to compare it to, but I was impressed with how quickly they were able to get out to me and the reasonable price. The driver was also friendly and helpful.
If you need a trusted tow company do not call Lee. They are a Cricket people. Charge people for getting a personal belongest. Outday car would not refund money. Bad business.

I was in an accident today and Lee’s towing really came through with amazing service. The driver was incredibly courteous, helpful, and truly went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of - including talking to the police for me. I honestly cannot say enough positive things about Lee. I can guarantee that I will not use another tow company if I need service in the Durham/Hillsborough area. They are incredible!!!
Just two days ago we were driving home to Charlotte when our car broke down on I-40 about 5 away from Marion NC. We called Lee’s Towing. He said it would take him about 45 minutes to an hour to finish the service he was on and to get to us. To my surprise he was there in 30 mins. So nice and helpful. His price was very reasonable. It was great to meet someone that was so courteous in our time of desperate need.

I got in a bad accident and Lee and his colleagues were super helpful and really nice. He helped me get a rental car and helped reassure me that I was ok. He also helped me and my parents know what to do insurance wise and with getting the stuff I needed from my car after it was dropped off. Super great stand up guy and 100% recommend!
When my son was hit by another driver on 1-40 on his way to school, Lee at Lee's Towing was onsite quickly, took charge of the situation and calmed my son until I arrived on scene. He towed my son's totaled car to his lot, followed up with us and provided advice as needed. We found Lee to be friendly, caring and professional. They arrived very promptly all within 15min so that was good.
But we were charged $198 for a 6.2 mile tow. The lady on the phone kept saying it was 11 miles. $125 hookup fee, $5/mile, and an EXTRA $10 for gas. Why are we paying for your operating expenses as a customer?? I tracked the gps on my phone to make sure the miles were 6.2! It took EXACTLY 9 minutes to get the car home. Then while on the phone the lady said “well do you want the tow or not” when all I did was inquire about cost.
The car was towed from Red Robin on New Hope(Durham) to 2701 Homestead Rd Chapel Hill. YOU DO THE MATH!
Update: the owner reached out and rectified the situation so I appreciated that very much. I have updated my review because it does show compassion & understanding. I do hope in the future receptionist take heed to what customer tries to explain to them.
The driver Jimmy showed up sooner than was communicated by their dispatch, towed me across town. Best price, the folks I dealt with we professional and prompt. Lee's saved my @$$ when I was in a pinch, and did it quickly.
The guys at Lee’s 24 hour towing are awesome. Starting with their dispatcher Bobby. Called for my car breaking down, Bobby was prompt with getting a truck to me. I cannot say enough good things about this company. I was in an accident involving a semi on my way to vacation last month, with my daughter in the car. They arrived almost immediately it felt like. Treated us with such kindness and truly cared. Took us back to their office until we got a ride as my car was totaled. They gave my daughter a mini tow truck toy and helped calm our nerves. Even let me come back the next weekend while their lot was closed to clean out the rest of my car. They have even stayed in touch throughout to make sure we are ok. I am so grateful for them, it was a horrible and traumatic event but they helped in our time of need. I am forever thankful!
Great towing company. Was involved in a string pile up on 40. I had to rent a truck to move gear and coolers from my truck to get it home. Lee was very helpful in meeting me at his lot to retrieve my property. Very friendly and great people. Highly recommend.
My husband and I own a moving company and we have called them twice for help! They towed our 26 foot Hino with ease. Everyone is always kind and came out within an hour of calling each time. Prices are reasonable and even offered a ride for our guys and dropped them off at the mechanic with the truck. Will always call them to help us out. Thank you!
I can’t thank Terry at Lee’s Towing enough for all his help with the broke down Penske truck. He had to come out and help me twice with roadside assistance. He was such a huge help and made the whole incident less stressful. And even went above and beyond in my opinion by going and swapping out the moving truck for me when we were concerned that the truck had a continuing issue. I selected Lee's Towing because of their excellent rating on google reviews. My experience lived up to the highly rated reviews. My wife's transmission went out after coming off a 12-hour shift. The driver Brian was there in 10 minutes and took care of us. He was a complete professional. I've also been assisted by another top-notch driver Mike on a different occasion. Lee is trustworthy and runs a business like it should be. You will realize it from the moment you contact them. I highly recommend them.
The tow truck drivers were great. I was in an accident a few hours from home and they were really nice, giving me advice on what was going to happen with the car, how to deal with the insurance, and so on. They even stayed with me until I could get someone to pick me up. Overall, great company and great people.
I had the best experience with Lee's towing - they took a towing job that nobody else wanted to do, they communicated promptly and directly, showed up on time, and went above and beyond in the process. They were clear around any obstacles the towing job presented, they gave me all the information, and they went with the choice I made. I had a phenomenal experience with this company. My husband and I broke down 5 miles from our destination on our wedding night. We were picked out promptly and were brought to the inn we were staying at before the tow driver took our car to drop off at a repair shop. Robert Gardner was extremely generous in his help in getting us where we needed to be. He was great to talk to and made us feel safe and cared for during this undesirable experience on our honeymoon.
Jimmy and the other Gentleman was very respectful, professional, and kind which is a combination thats dam near extinct in today's work force! After moving the container they even helped me properly secure it! Beautiful equipment also I wouldn't be surprised if the dam truck drove itself hahah
Appreciated Robby's exceptional service today. Daughter had car trouble and wasn't able to continue on her way home. Her father and I decided to drive from Virginia 3 to 4 hours away to make sure she made it home safely and to make arrangements to get car to a mechanic. Robby showed up and provided excellent service as well as friendly conversation to ease our minds in regards to where to tow the vehicle. We very much appreciated his help to get us on our way and making sure my daughter's vehicle got to the nearest dealership for service the next business day. Although we hope there isn't a need for service again :). But if there is we will be definitely calling Lee's 24 hour towing when in the area. The Hill Family.
We needed to use their services twice over a few days when the transmission went out on my car - the first a pick up ASAP and the second a scheduled time in advance. All staff were very friendly and helpful! We worked with Paul and Jimmy. Will definitely call them for any future needs and would recommend to anyone. Friendly, efficient, and reasonable cost!
