Clark's Towing had to come pull us out, as we slid in the ditch due to ice on their private drive. Upon getting pulled out @ $525.00, Clark's Towing told Bill's truck stop to block this entrance 2 days earlier due to the ice. They also informed us they were at Bills pulling ppl out ALL DAY/ EVE on Saturday. It would have been appreciated If they had taken seriously what was advised. Ignorance due to weather conditions is no excuse.

A good place right off US52 South to grab a bite to eat. It still is an actual truck stop so there are items for the trucker in need, as well as it being a restaurant. If you're not a trucker but you're looking for good food, this is a good place to stop

Great place to do your 34-hour reset. Food is good. Showers are all new and clean. $10.00. Washer and dryer available. 10 stars for old school truck stop!

The food is great and tastes home cooked. I love the country style steak over corn bread and mashed potatoes. Since the new owners have taken over, they have really cleaned the place up. They've even installed new bathrooms. They're way better than these places in town.

Been stopping here a lot lately. Left Orlando early this morning just so I'd be here for dinner. What a crying shame that these folks have free parking, a great restaurant and super nice people and these other corporate fuel stops do nothing but rip us off. If Bill's can offer everything I've mentioned... why can't the others do it? Answer.. corporate greed onn the backs of hard working truckers.

Cheap parking space $10 there are showers, restaurant, laundry. I didn't eat, but next visit I will and post pictures of my meal. The staff is nice and safe area

Been wanting to go here for years. Today we finally checked that box. Don't go for the atmosphere, but go for the great food and the great & friendly service. Bill's Truck Stop is a "5" in my book. I had the Big Double Bacon Cheeseburger & Fries and my wife had the Fillet of Fish Sandwich & Fries. Everything was surprisingly awesome. The Bacon was the way I like it "crispy". The fries were hot, hearty & crispy. Wife's fish sandwich was very good as well. We will be back. They have a menu of numerous & various selections from breakfast to lunch. They're a 24 hour operation. The prices are reasonable & there is plenty of free parking out front.

It's the closest that you're going to get to a home cooked. The showers had plenty of room and were clean. And a nice sized parking lot to park

Staff is friendly, shower was clean with very hot water. Breakfast was tasty and fresh. Couldn't recommend the steak, two bites in I wanted them to put the poor thing back in the ground where they found it. Also, you have to tell the cashier to add a tip for staff, they won't ask you...different. This would be a 4/5 if I didn't order that frankensteak tbh.

Bill's has been around as long as I can remember, back to 1974. It's a trip back to a bygone era when you walk in and all staff are so friendly (Southern hospitality) and knowledgeable. The customers will talk with you too. Great place to chill out and enjoy a home cooked meal in a relaxing environment.

This is my first time coming to this truck stop and I wasn't sure exactly how to come in because I'm not a big truck driver yet. Everything was very easy I'm going to the pumps was quick and efficient. The cashier May things very simple for me and I was in and out in no time. Thanks Guys

Bill’s Truck Stop got everything you really need. The new bathrooms are clean and modern. One of the best bathrooms from Charlotte to raleigh, which makes a huge difference when you’re on the road. There’s also home style food available, so you can grab a bite while fueling up. What really stands out here is the atmosphere — the folks who run the place treat you with real kindness and respect. You can feel the care they put into making sure drivers and travelers are comfortable. It’s not just a fuel stop, it’s a place where you feel welcome. Easy access, fair prices, and genuine hospitality make Bill’s worth the stop. Highly recommend it if you’re passing through!

Awesome stop on a trip! The lunch was fantastic and the service was just as great. Very friendly and a nostalgic place that you don't get to see often anymore!

Had a great lunch. My Mom loved her chicken tenders. She said they were better than Chick-Fil-A. The ladies serving were super nice and the bathrooms were very clean.

We pass Bills all the time but pulled over there with our camper when our truck started having mechanical issues. We were stranded trying to problem solve and the mechanic for the truckers freely offered his help in any way he could, the staff inside helped us stay comfortable with our three small children giving them drinks and snacks and playing with them while my husband was trying to get us back on the road. They are a people-first business and were such a blessing to us on our difficult travel day.

Great ole school truck stop Very good food and the prices are very good. I always stop whenever I’m passing through. I highly recommend stopping here.

Anytime we are in the area we have to stop. Very convenient, DELICIOUS food, amazing service, and all kinds of goodies. Today I had the pleasure of trying the chicken & lamb rice platter which comes with a side salad. It was AMAZING!!!! The servers here are the sweetest and always take really good care of us. After your amazing meal there are many delicious desserts to choose from also

I love this place. The diner food is good enough. It’s not great but the price is right and the servers are awesome. Beats lives and pilots with their fast food chains any day

We stopped at Bill’s Truck Shop for a restroom break on our way back. It’s a very clean and family-friendly place. The employees were welcoming, and as soon as we walked in, they noticed we were traveling with family and kindly directed us to the restrooms without us even having to ask.

Needed some gas and this little slice of heaven in my weekly drive. I have work in Winston-Salem this month, and I desperately needed a brake and food. I ordered the most juicy double cheese, with onion, chili and slaw, and sweet tea. Stop by and get you some of this sunshine.

Since 1968 this truck stop off i85 stands, Bill departed to eternity , however the new ownership kept the same vibe, it’s a meeting for the locals and free truck parking and shower with diesel purchase. We celebrate North Carolina and Bill!

Our waitress was so sweet! We had our two kids (2.5, 2 months) with us and they were very understanding. We split some chicken tenders, potato wedges, fried okra, and banana pudding. The ranch and potato wedges were amazing together! We got great and friendly service and I was so glad we stopped.

I want to shout out to all the people who cooked the Thanksgiving dinner it was awesome . We had dinner the other night, too. Everything we had was good. Thanks to all of you

If you’re looking for a big chain truck stop with an Arby’s (or such) and new amenities, then just keep driving past this place. Big parking lot mostly gravel with few pot holes, but a place to park. Seems like a lot of local drivers park and go home here but I didn’t have a problem finding a spot. I will say the place (bathrooms mostly) kinda need a facelift out of the 80’s, but was surprisingly clean. The food I got, country style steak, green beans, mashed taters and corn bread was good, not great. I deducted 1 star because the food while it was warm, it wasn’t hot. I will certainly be back when passing through. The staff was very friendly as well.

Absolutely loved the cheese burger and fries the patty melt and onion rings were also delicious old truck stop but hidden gem there aren’t many of these old truck stops left try it if your in the area

Excellent small truckstop. Has mechanic, restaurant, travel shop, ample parking. Lot has few pot holes but plenty of space. Spent a 34hr reset here and staff very friendly. Food is top quality. Huge portions, good value. Cashier said if I have food she'll even heat up my soups etc if I need it. Staff so friendly. Definitely stopping here again.

Definitely a blast from the past. Very friendly staff. The owner who looked to be at least 80 years old was there and gave my son an item of his choice from the candy rack.
