While passing through Nags Head, NC on December 27, 2025, I was playing tourist and figured I’d stop in to grab a Harley-Davidson T-shirt and a poker chip for my collection—pretty standard Harley-guy stuff, right? 😄
I pulled into the strip mall where the store is located and immediately noticed the area looked pretty run down. I parked, took a few moments to observe the storefront and surroundings, and honestly, it wasn’t very inviting.
What ultimately made my decision for me was a sign posted on the door that read: “CASH ONLY – ATM INSIDE.” At that point, I didn’t even enter the building. I never left the truck and simply left.
In 2025—especially for a Harley-Davidson shop—requiring cash-only purchases feels outdated and off-putting. I don’t carry much cash anymore, and I’m not using a private ATM inside a retail store. If it’s not a brick-and-mortar bank ATM, I’m not putting my card in it. Simple as that.
Between the overall appearance and the cash-only setup, the place just didn’t sit right with me, so I chose to take my business elsewhere. It’s about customer trust and keeping up with modern retail expectations.
If the shop updated its payment systems and improved the overall presentation, I’d consider giving it another look in the future. Until then, it’s a hard pass for me.
Where to begin....... reading the reviews, sounds like I am not saying something that hasn't already been said, but has gone unaddressed....
Walked in and immediately was 'greeted' by the worker/cashier that was sitting on a stool or chair in the corner with her telling us how tired she was and how cold she was so she had to put on a sweatshirt and how she wishes the ice cream place was open so she could eat some ice cream to cool her down after she put her sweatshirt on, and wake her up after eating lunch blah blah blah.....she also proceeded to tell us she worked in another store and wishes this store would close ......and after this mindless dribble out of her mouth I shut her out and went on a power walk thru the store to find a Harley Davidson souvenir and get out of there! She was never rude. Just whining and had nothing positive as a representative of that business to present to customers walking in. She is lucky HD souvenirs sell themselves because if this location relied on her personality and salesmanship, this store would be closed like all the other HD stores closing around the country....
This is merely a retail location, no sales or service of motorcycles.....
As far as selection of clothing..... it was OK. The checkout counter is right by the entrance/exit, so it seems a bit cluttered as there was product and other things stacked and just cluttering up the area.
As I stated before, HD clothing will sell itself to those wanting a souvenir t-shirt.....but since this is just a retail outlet and not a place for motorcyclists needing sales and service, I would say to keep your knees in the breeze and ride on past.......
Went in the store, wasn’t offered any help which is fine but felt very unwelcome. Asked the lady at the register if they had any other sizes and she said “no what’s out is out… this isn’t my store”. We found shirts and were ready to check out for about 5 minutes and the lady was too busy talking to some older guy about ice cream and then proceeded to go into the back for another 5 minutes to rummage for shirts for the guys wife. Don’t waste your time at this store.
Most rude worker 2 days in a row. Nice selection but not even worth shopping there cause she is a nasty person who makes it seem like you're bothering her just for walking in. Won't be surprised when I see this location permanently closes cause this seems to have been the issue posted on reviews for over a year now.
If I could give fewer than one star, I would do so. Without question, the most inhospitable, rude and unfriendly staff I have ever encountered in any retail establishment and certainly in any Harley Davidson outlet. We came in approximately 10 minutes prior to closing for which I immediately apologized to her and said we would not be long. That was met with no response. We felt as if we had come into someone’s living room without invitation. We will never darken this store’s doorways again. A very bad look for Harley Davidson.
We Went in to do a little shopping while on vacation. I Saw a stack of shirts I liked laying on a stool that had just been taken out of the box. I Told my wife I liked that design and the lady almost snapped my head off ! “ those aren’t put out yet, they aren’t for sell” “ shirts for sell are hanging on the racks “. Excuse me for looking at items in a store ! First time we have ever been in a H-D store that didn’t want every dollar they could get us to spend. Dont worry, we won’t be back !
Drove 11/2 hours here just to find the door locked and no one being there ! Sign said opens at 9 am , here it is 10:50 am on a Saturday and no one is there . Poor poor poor !

Don't try to use a HD gift card here. The lady today refused help with using it and said, "its your card." Previous HD store typed in info and no issues. This lady needs to retire or find a job where there are no expectations of knowing things. Left over $100 on the counter. Good luck with this lady manning your store.
The worst Harley shop I’ve seen. Tacky selections for nags head items.
Lady who worked there must not care much about customers. Felt like we were bothering her when we went to check out.

Liked the t-shirts and other Harley Davidson items to buy but their t-shirt inventory seemed low compared to the other Harley Davidson Stores nearby but had different T-shirts from the other 2.
Tee shirt, apparel and collectibles store located in a small shopping center with access from both North and Southbound NC 12 and East and Westbound US 158. Store has a Great selection of Harley Tee and Sweat shirts for men, women, the kids and the four legged kids also. Store has Outer Banks Bike Rally shirts too.
This is a t-shirt and paraphernalia HD store. They have a better selection and sizes of t-shirts then the dealership.
The store is clean and well laid out. The gal that's manning the store is a bit abrupt but maybe she's having a bad day.
Definitely worth a visit.
On 8/13/20 I tried to enter this store it looked like they had a lot of really good shirts and accessories. I was told I could not enter without a mask. I have respiratory issues where I can not where a mask as I have trouble breathing. I explained this to the gentleman in the store and he said he did not care and I had to leave. I hate places like this lost my business and probably a few hundred dollars in sales as I love my Harley Davidson t shirts. Thanks guys.
Was awesome! People are so friendly and there were various booths set up outside.
There's was a lot of variety of things to purchase. We bought 6 shirts, patches, and so.e nice jewelry.

Honestly Harley stores are just overpriced leather and t shirt stores but I guess this one was fine aha. My lady got her dad a Harley shirt for like 42 bucks after tax lol. Just go to a wings and get 3 or 4 shirts with that if you can get past it not having "Harley" on it, it's like the Supreme for old guys tho lmao
Well dressed, polite 17 year old honors student walks into store while on vacation. He was excited to buy merchandise for his Harely loving parents. He was not allowed into the store because he answered truthfully, that he was not 18...He looks ever bit 18. Becky answered and advised she is the store manager is the one that did not allow entry and that is store policy. Read the reviews and understand where the poor reviews came from. He can drive his own car, pay his own bills from his job but can't buy a couple over priced t-shirts.
Ok selection of clothing for men but women; not so much. Spent $100 bucks on a sweat shirt and a tee shirt Only to have it stuffed in a cheap dollar store plastic bag .Older woman store employee acted as if we interrupted her pricing T shirts she was not welcoming or friendly. Can't recommend shopping there
They print on both sides of the shirts with LARGE iron ons. Just good if you want a shirt that says "Nags Head" but the owner may not truely understand "Keep it Simple." More graphics goes not justify the insane price for something a middle schooler might like. Embrace a small emblem on the front...
