Steve went above and beyond to help us on a Friday afternoon when our van decided to breakdown 180 miles from home. He got us up and running in no time, and even followed up with a phone call to make sure we made it home safely. It's people like Steve and others that restored my faith in the kindness of strangers still exist. THANK YOU STEVE!!!
My car indicated it was overheated near Riegelwood between Whiteville and Wilmington, so I slowly made it to Camlin's. They kindly reviewed my car at 5:30 pm in the rain. The radiator needed replacing. The car was ready the next evening. Very thankful and excellent work.
Great place for an inspection. It was quickly done and painless. The owner was very nice and friendly, we talked for a bit. I most likely will keep going here for all my inspection and service needs.The place seemed very clean and well taken care of I seen a couple of fire trucks there, so apparently he works on the area Fire engines also. From what I saw, there were 3 people working, and the owner said he started inspecting vehicles around 5 pm. I will add photos later on. Go here, and you will like it, i promise. I had a bouncing ride on the lift as he adjusted it to run smoothly Hahaha.
It's easy to find, but just watch backing out. People can be crazy when they drive.

My father recommended Camlin Auto to me. I must say my car runs better than it did when I brought it. He takes his time and goes through your car and properly analyzes and makes necessary repairs. He takes his time to explain the repairs to you. His prices are also reasonable. I will definitely be using him in the future. If you live in the Leland area this is an excellent shop to go to for repairs. He also does alignments and inspections as well, which was a plus!
Required payment for everything upfront, took 2yrs to get car running, $2200. still didn't run good after getting it back. My battery disappeared. Charged more to rebuild throttle body than what it would have cost to order a new one and install. Take your vehicle to some place in Wilmington. There are No good mechanics in Delco.
This is not a dependable mechanic, they like to break parts on your vehicle and then want to charge you to fix their mistakes. Between my girlfriends car and my truck, they broke a tire pressure sensor changing a set of tires, broke a knock sensor and changed a valve cover gasket that is leaking after only six months of being installed. Soles automotive is the place to go in the delco n.c. area
