This place is amazing but needs some repairs done to the psalms signs and other monuments.

Such a beautiful place! This place is under new management and they have been making improvements! Lots of picnic tables, walking trail, gift shop. The best part is you are surrounded by the word of God everywhere you turn in the park.

Can't highly recommend this place enough! Great for a solo trip or pack up the whole family! You can go hike the trails or just pack a lunch and enjoy the picnic area. Make sure to wear your good tennis shoes otherwise you can drive up to the topside of both the Prayer Mountain and up the to Nations Cross passing the Commandments on the way.

Definitely feel the peace that surpasses all understanding walking through here. I wish I lived near to be a part of all the extra activities that happen. Truly. Soon as I got up to the gift store I'm like I dreamt about this place. But do not remember when. It truly is a Glory to God the beauty that surrounds us. All to Him!

It's a nice well kept place. It would be great for groups. It operates on donations so be generous when you visit someone is working hard to keep it looking nice.

The Field of the Woods in Murphy, North Carolina is an extraordinary landmark and well worth a visit. It features the world’s largest copy of the Ten Commandments, set into the mountainside, creating a striking and memorable sight. The grounds are thoughtfully maintained, offering both a peaceful atmosphere and a meaningful experience. A unique destination that combines natural beauty with cultural and spiritual significance.

It is a great place place to visit. It does need to get re-painted, as paint is chipping off in many places. It is very interesting place and glad we found it.

This a truly religious place. I was baptized their when I went. It was 48° but the pastor did it anyway.

Visit on 4/27/25 - It was an amazing place to visit. You have to go see it for yourself in order for the full experience. We just happened to stumble across it under things to do in the city.

Let me start by saying that this may be the only bible park I have been to, but it is the best one anyone could visit. I have spent two Easter's here and both were very enlightening and very much enjoyed by the entire family. We brought our own Easter dinner, because there were plenty of places to sit down and enjoy a meal. And afterwards, plenty of places to explore and learn about what Easter is truly about!! Toddlers to adults will enjoy this knowledge filled bible park!

This place is amazing and definitely off the charts. It's our favorite place so far. It literally has the largest 10 Commandments covering a mountain side. It also has 3 crosses representing the death of Jesus and today we witnessed a re-telling of Jesus' Resurrection by seeing a replica of the empty tomb where Jesus was laid. It was amazing. It's fun and free. So you can go there and just reflect on what God has done for you. My family and I are going to go back as often as we can.

My roommate and I went on a back roads drive and ended up at the Fields of the Wood. We had no idea what it was and had never heard of it. But y’all. It’s worth seeing at least once in your life. It’s the largest representation of the Ten Commandments in the world. And it really is HUGE. It’s pretty cool. When you drive in, the commandments will be on your right. There’s a set of stairs that you can climb to the top to get to some kind of monument. I did not climb those. The view was better from opposite it. On your left when you pull in, there’s a set of stairs that have monument/large plaques with Bible verses. The monuments are sponsored by churches in almost all 50 states. So that was cool. One thing I would recommend: at the front of the prayer journey up that hill opposite of the Ten Commandments, have a QR code to prayer resources on how to do a prayer walk through that, or a QR code to something like The Jesus Film website that has the Jesus Film in over 2100 languages (the film is essentially the Gospel of Luke). That way people from other countries who visit can have a resource in their language. And people from the US can have some ideas on how to use that space for spiritual growth. I’d love to see people coming back to use that space for retreat days or something. Because it was cool.

Absolute gem hidden in the mountains! Who doesn't love a Christian or Bible based attraction and the beautiful mountains? One could easily spend 2 hours here reading every plaque and stone. Perfect for a quick stop, picnic, long visit exploring, or even exercising up and down the steps. Free but consider making a donation at the gift shop.

I been here a few times and always bring my family and friends visiting. It never disappoints. There is always a sense of peace in this place. If you are a Christian its a must stop, you can feel the holy spirit in every corner of this place.

I have been to Fields of the Wood a couple times. The 1st time went a couple years ago, I was Baptized in the pool they have there for Baptisms. Such a totally different feeling coming out of that water. It's so peaceful and you can feel the anointing, IF you have that connection with the Father. There's so much to see, and read about our Lord Jesus Christ at Fields of the Wood. Sometimes I take a day and go just to get away from all the ruckus around town.

This was one of the most amazing places I've ever been. You can really feel the Holy Spirit moving, especially on the prayer drive. I can't say enough good things about it. It's an awesome experience. Free to get in.

We had a great time. My daughter and nephews had fun just feeding the fish that were near the gift shop there. The gift shop had lots of cool stuff inside. I recommend at least coming to see this place once. They did an amazing job at putting all this together and it was incredible to see the replica of Jesus' tomb as well!

First time here. Impressive. Walked through Bible hill, prayers Hill, and cross of flags. Informative. Free admission. Saw several be baptized. "Against the use of tobacco of any form,etc"

We come here every year in the fall. It's very beautiful! Lots of monuments featuring different times in Jesus life, and other stories in the bible. The 10 commandments on the hill are really neat as well! Make sure to drive or walk up to the top of the mountain to see the beautiful view and all the flags in the shape of a cross.

We had a nice time here. It was a good hike from the lower parking lot up 300+ stairs to the top of the Ten Commandments. There are great scenic views from the top. We walked down and then over to the gift shop. They have a lot of items from coins, t-shirts, coffee mugs and much more. From the gift shop we walked up the other set of stairs to the to of the prayer hill. In all we were there about 2 hours.

This is such a cool place! I suggest climbing up the mountain just for the experience. It is quite a hike but worth it! If you don't want to walk up the stairs, you can drive up. My 4-year-old, 65-year-old Dad, 40-year-old husband and I made the walk up and survived! Don't forget to visit the All Nations Cross while at the top. It's a long walk from the top of the Ten Commandments mountain but there are some amazing views from there too! You can also drive up there. Next up, Prayer Mountain. We drove to the top then walked down. Then we checked out the replica of the Garden Tomb. There were live bats in there (not to worry it was like 3 and they were undisturbed by us). Lastly, check out the gift shop and bring a picnic lunch. Feed the fish in the pond! Overall, just a great place to visit! Donations encouraged for upkeep.

Very much worth it. It is a free "adventure". You can walk the 326 steps or drive up and around that and the Prayer Mountain. I think you would really like it. It has a picnic area. We packed a lunch and took our time...we were there maybe two hours.
