VERY helpful staff. I went on prepared to purchase a new car battery. I wasn't totally sure it was bad but wanted to play it safe. I did my own research for style, price, etc. And chose O'Reilly. The manager wouldn't let me buy it until he brought out the battery meter to test my car. It confirmed my "guesswork ". I really appreciated the extra time spent. It told me they care about the customer. Thanks guys.
I came to O’Reilly’s Auto Parts in Pittsboro in dire need of professional assistance on Friday, November 14, 2025. I was welcomed by Kurt Henderson who was exceptionally knowledgeable, kind and helpful. He went above and beyond to get me the parts for 2 of my vehicles that were in the parking lot. This past Friday was definitely one for the books when it comes to random vehicle misfortune. I was provided with not only the parts available, but tools to borrow so I could get things back up and running. Even if temporarily until I could get one of my vehicles to a more experienced mechanic. Kurt was a life saver. He even printed out a paper showing the order of spark plugs and coils for my vehicle. Thank goodness for genuine, compassionate and dedicated Store Managers like Kurt! Infinite gratitude
This is in response to Luma’s entry. There is a restaurant directly behind the store and we have people constantly parking in the delivery driver and employee parking area. The main entrance to the store is on the other side of the building. So when we saw someone parked there, we assumed it was for the restaurant. All other customers park in the front of the store because the back is a restricted area. Our apologies to those customer.
One of the employees was blocking the entrance in with their truck. We pulled in another way, into a spot that said OREILLYS CUSTOMER PARKING and the employee pulled up behind us just to tell us we couldn't park there. Guess we weren't customers then and they can put their vehicle wherever they please. Horrible service. Wouldn't even go inside after such a horrible interaction.
Went to the AutoZone next door. Much better.
I came in to the store yesterday to have my battery tested, and I had the pleasure of meeting Kurt, The store manager. He Not only tested my battery And also walk me through the process of showing me that’s the battery was bad But being that my car Is a Mercedes and they can’t change those batteries, he took his time and called a shop that could And were able to get me in asap. Kurt absolutely went Above and beyond and I will forever be a customer here and will recommend him and this store to everyone. Also, to add ALL of the young men working were also friendly and helpful! Thanks again!
I have been there twice, and though it is new and clean, they didn't have what I needed or had limited supplies. Unfortunately, as a result, they are not my first choice.
During a vacation out of state our truck wouldn't start. Went to oreillys and Kurt tested battery and it was fine. He then took the time to check things over and found a loose cable and tightened it up. He got us back on the road quickly. Kurt was very professional, polite and knowledgeable. Thank you Kurt!!!
If I could give 1000 stars they would certainly get em.. I was traveling out of town four hours from home and, needed a really weird shape socket to tighten up the lug nuts on the car i was driving. Not only did these young men it but they also loan me theirs so I wouldn't have to buy one. Great employees Great store and thanks so much, you are appreciated!!

I wanted to purchase rotors for my SUV. They did not have them in the store and I was given a receipt and was asked to check back in 3 days. When I went back to the store to pick up the rotors, I was told that there will be an additional charge for the shipping fee. Think about it: 1) who is charging a shipping fee on ~$150 merchandise? 2) I had a receipt that did not include a shipping charge, and 3) The rotors were shipped to the store. When I complained, I was told that the person who helped me last time is not working for the company anymore (as if this is somehow my problem) and therefore I have to pay for shipping. Of course, I did not purchase the rotors and will never go back to this store.
This place is great! The customer service is excellent and very friendly with exceptional knowledge of their products to help you make the right informed choice. Their pricing is more than fair and more competitive than their competitors.
This is my goto place when I'm in need for anything auto.
I'm not sure the cashier's name but me and my son went in there and he was beyond nice and helped my son have a good time and find some matchbox and Hot Wheels cars.

I've had good customer service in the past but today's experience was unacceptable. After having my starter tested with Tyler and found to be defective I did some shopping around and came back to price match the part. I have price matched at this store with Amazon in the past and was explicitly verbatim told that they would match Amazon's price. I came back to the store 30 minutes later and Tyler was not there but Sammy decided to argue with me and tell me that I was wrong and refused to be accommodating. Incredibly rude and he raised his voice at me. Wasted my time and gas apparently there is no consistency on corporate policy within this store.
