I drove 4 hours and paid $700 for an engine from them. I consulted with a guy about it on Facebook marketplace and told him what year make and model my car was and he said the engine should fit. After driving 8 hours total and paying $700 for the engine just to find out it doesn’t fit my car. I have a 2008 Subaru and they sold me a 2002. When asked if I could return the engine (it was not worked on at all) they said I could not return it and they decided to leave me with an engine I can’t use and keep my $700. If you are wanting an honest business to purchase parts from don’t buy anything from here. They will just take your money from you, they are not a honest and loyal business and they will screw you over just to make some “extra cash on their paycheck” is what they told me.
These guys went above and beyond when I got stranded in Marshall on my vacation last month. They kept my car safe while I flew back home, got it back up and running, and even picked me back up at the airport when I came back. Can't say enough good stuff about them!!
Rodney and his team at Madison Auto know their stuff. They're honest and fair-priced. I've been taking my vehicles there for years. That won't change any time soon.

I purchased a used 2012 Ford Escape Hybrid from them. Communicated with Jake over Facebook. He answered all questions and provided all necessary paperwork. Jake is a man of his word. I trust these guys so much that I bought the car without looking at it in person first.
I flew down from New York and drove the car back home 700 miles with no issues.
Jake looked it over to be sure it was long trip ready and even changed the oil.

Luckily I was only 1/2 mile from this shop when my engine light came on-- turns out my radiator was leaking really bad. Super nice, helpful, all around great guys. Would definitely recommend!
Being I had my car towed in I kept the money for him to look it over in the console. Quickly called to tell me it was a valve knocking into my exhaust. At the end of the day my friend whom is a car nut told the same thing after I explained what had happened when my car broke down. Anyways after the news I cleared my car out in the console was the money I had placed for him to look it over. I'm not sure if he didn't take it due to the bad news on the car or he didn't't take it. But he was honest straightforward and professional. When he shook my hand it was firm and he looked me in the eye. That means a lot to me in this age. Highly recommend for anything you can throw at the man. I found my mechanic when I need something.
These guys are great. I came in with engine trouble during a road trip and they accommodated me then and there. They identified the issue right away and took great care in making sure I was safe to get back on the road. Honest, reliable, and all-around good dudes. Thank y’all so much!

I have taken my automobiles there for three years as has family members. The owner's knowledge and experience about mechanics is amazing but what really impresses me is his honesty. He never adds on hidden costs later. Almost every time he has had my vehicle out the door the same day I brought it in. Price wise Madison Auto is pretty much on par with other good shops.
My mom's boyfriend recommended Rodney/Madison Auto Care as a trustworthy, reliable, and skilled mechanic, as he has been to him many times since moving to the area. My experience was not a disappointment - service was quick and the price extremely fair. Rodney even showed me the part that needed to be replaced and compared it with the new one so that I knew what was being done. I highly recommend Madison Auto Care!
Would not recommend. They kept my car for weeks, kept saying they would get around to looking at it, never did, never called, pretty much just ignored my car until I gave up and went somewhere else. *Terrible* customer service.
Rodney and Michael were incredible. I'm visiting the area on a solo trip and got myself in a bind... smoking engine and leaking radiator fluid and all! And they were ready and willing and knowledgeable and so patient! This is an extremely welcoming group of people who have years of experience but are still empathetic despite having seen it all. I felt so taken care of and am so thankful they were here. These people are good people. You can trust them :)
