Megan is so helpful, and the towing is second to none. He paid attention to every aspect of the vehicle and made sure that nothing was damaged. What a company.
These guys are great at what they do. Kevin was very thorough at completing paperwork, so I had no trouble with insurance covering the tow. Decided to call Captain Hook after waiting an unreasonable amount of time for someone triple A tried to send. When that company was a no-show after an hour and a half, I called Kevin. He was there when he said he'd be; tried to jump the car before towing, and delivered it safely to its destination. Highly recommend. (BTW, the guy triple A tried to send finally called after the vehicle was safely delivered to its destination by Captain Hook.)
Had my car towed from calabash to his shop after a collision, they worked me with and we made an agreement on the tow fees and what to do with the car. It all worked out good for both parties. Also I called three separate times early morning, noon and evening and they always answered the phone. I’ll keep them in mind for my towing needs from now on
He is awesome !! Time efficient and just a great man all around ! Super friendly . He’s towed my car for me and he’s moved a building to my house and cut down a tree to get it in my back yard . A jack of all trades . Very affordable you wont regret spending money with him
They towed my car which after everything was done took almost 3 hours. I was expecting to pay several hundred dollars...he charged very little I couldn't believe it. Driver was super helpful and nice. I wouldn't call anyone else... I will definitely be using them again.
Recently hired Captain Hook to tow a camper from Supply NC to Eastbend NC 4 plus hour distance.they got it moved and deliced in 30 degree weather.when it arrived it was 7 degrees.they went above and beyond to get the job done sucessfully

Honestly the best around! My mother in law misty aka tree girl told me to call them when my sister car broke down an hour and a half away and they got the car and took it to the place it needed to go. Now this is the second time I called my mother in law for my sister car once again and danny showed up he was very nice and respectful and took care of the car and got it where it needed to go thank you so much you guys are the best !
This company was incredible, look no further, call them, professional, efficient, considerate, and will drive long distances. My car needed to be towed late at night, in a storm, and they drove over 45 minutes to tow my car 4 miles to the dealership. Exceptional service called and showed up when they said they would, no questions asked. Danny, the driver was beyond incredible, friendly, and took care of my car as if it was his own! I cannot say enough about Danny and this company, especially as a female late at night stuck with a flat tire. Thank you!
Had a flat tire one year in the middle of the night, the ONLY place that helped after calling 5+ other places. Called them again this year when we got our car stuck in sand 😅 very reasonable prices for stressful situations- thank you guys.
I planned a move 3+ weeks ago. From day 1 I knew I found a company that not only wanted my business but continued to adjust to MY SITUATION and accommodate my every need and request. They answer the phone, they answer questions and they delivered! Brianna, Joe and the rest of the staff took such good care of me I would give them 200 stars if I could no joke ....this is the place to use. I will absolutely call them again

My man's hot rod broke down recently, (1030pm) we called captain hook towing and he was there within 30 minutes to pick up the car and get it home. Very reasonably priced, and professional service.
My Aunt used this company to have her car towed after a fender bender. The window had shattered in the accident. We knew there was a storm coming and multiple people on scene asked the tow truck driver if she would cover the window. She assured us it would be covered. The car sat for 4 days with nothing over the window and now the electrical is ruined for the windows. None of the windows function and there were a bunch of lizards inside. They did not offer to reimburse any of the tow expenses or the daily charges for having the car there (totaling around $400 for a couple miles to tow) Only said that they would make sure it didn’t happen again. A lot of good that does my Aunt now, as she’s stuck with the cost of fixing the electrical on top of everything else. What a racket. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Sara was caring n thoughtful. I was out of town (3hrs away) and I lost my rental keys and needed a tow and she wasn’t able to assist me but she kept me updated and sent another company to tow the car to my hotel. I appreciate it Sarah. Blessings to you and your business.
I dealt with Janna twice and she was very friendly. Sarah was the hero that towed my father's truck from a difficult spot to Holden Beach west end. She was so nice and helpful the entire time. We also met another male employee who was equally just as nice and helpful. I would Highly recommend this company! They were to us within 10 minutes!!!! Amazing staff!!!
Captain Hook Towing is a Excellent towing service. Mr.Josh was a professional at his job. My 97 gmc truck broke down on ocean hwy 17 today. He arrived within 30 to 45 minutes of talking with me on my cell. He was kind, polite and courteous tow truck driver. I will definitely use their service again.
I was driving from Myrtle Beach to Wilmington when my car stalled at a light on hwy 17. Trying not to panic, I called around & was referred to Captain Hook.
Justin showed up almost instantly after I called. He had my car hooked up in a matter of minutes & checked to see if I had someone coming to pick me up. I did not. He quickly offered me the passenger seat in the tow truck, asked where I was headed, & drove me all the way to Wilmington.
Justin was friendly/professional & put me at ease— not often a feeling you have as a solo female having car troubles & in need of help! I am so thankful for him & Captain Hook dispatch for getting him to me so quickly!
I was in the mountains for the summer, but had a car parked in the path of a hurricane. They picked my car up right away and stored for nearly 4 months. The rate was extremely fair. Two thumbs up!

They came and got an abandoned vehicle out of my yard. I called two other companies before this one and they both told me to call them next week because it was raining. Called Captain Hook towing and they were here not even an hour later in the rain/dark. Guy was very nice and considerate about my yard.
Keith the tow truck guy who helped me was excellent great service came all the way from holden beach to Conway sc to get my car very much appreciated the gentleman who drove my wife back and forth from the car repair shop and back to her car so she wouldn't have to drive at night and then waited for her to get in the car to leave. Hes a good guy and good employee to have . Keith is the man.
Excellent service. The prior towing company never showed up via my insurance provider, but thankfully Captain Hook & Towing was dispatched ultimately. Timely and friendly service when they arrived. These are the people to call if you're in trouble. Don't trust any other local providers!
I have used this company at least 7 times to tow cars for distances over 30 miles and havent had an issue. Always fair priced and great customer service also prompt and never late! Highly recommended!
Had to have boat & trailer towed on a Sunday night in the middle of nowhere. Captain Hook came out in a timely manner and towed the boat to his yard to for safekeeping overnight and to the marina the next morning. Pricing was very fair and he was helpful, even suggesting ways we could fix the trailer and not have to have it towed. But since it was Sunday night and nowhere was open to buy parts we couldn't make that work. Did a great job.
Been dealing with Captain Hook Towing, and Nick, for a while. Best towing service you're going to find on the East Coast. Always available, is able to handle just about any situation, courteous, timely, and very cost friendly.
ANYBODY that has ANY bad experience with this company is OBVIOUSLY the problem. Either by not being clear on what they want done, or just out of general stupidity.
I am a firm believer that when you find a good company, you spread the word and stand by them, and this is one company I will gladly do that for time and again.
This guy is awesome! Thought I needed my car towed but instead just had a minor problem and it started right back up! This gentleman drove from supply to holden beach to pick up my car and showed me it didn't even need to be towed. It started right back up and he said have a nice day with a smile on his face! Definitely reccomend this guy! Very polite, showed up on time, helpful and above all else HONEST. Thank you again!
Flat tire, no spare, no pump, no plugs, you could say I wasn't prepared at all. Called first thing in the morning after July 4th and he picked right up and had me where I need to be in about an hour, great service, friendly, pricing is great, highly recommend.
