Horrible service. I guess if you need just a inspection done they seem able and willing to do them in a timely manner. That's only positive thing I can say about this place.after paying 80 bucks for me to lift my hood a have some one walk over and glance over it for 10 seconds was told car needs the have waterpumb replaced.15mins later with estimated price of 1100 was told could probably have done by end of day.i said i wanted to check around for pricing. Then decided to go with them after buying the new waterpumb myself because I was charged 379.for waterpumb from them. So I got one myself for 120.oh but was still charged 10 more for labor because not part from them. Said to drop off in two days and should be done on r3d day.....after 5th day got car back to take to some where that would actually do the work. This was the most unprofessional experience I had with any business in few years. I don't understand why was treated so poorly. Stressful as hell to suddenly have a 1200 repair bill come up but on top of that I depend on my car 100%to make money so I also lot 5 day's work unbelievable. I would be able to understand some what if they were busy or working hard SMH but completely the opposite. Don't waste your time and money with them for anything mabe if you really need inspection they can manage that but that's it guess they helped me little bit after getting screwed around for a week with nothing to show except bills. Went down street dropped car off and picked up noon next day for only 800

The staff was great, I needed my vehicle inspected so I could transfer my vehicle registration to Brunswick County. They did a great job and had me on my way in no time. They will be my go-to place from now on.
What great people . They do my family's inspections every year no appointment required . They fix any issues we go to them with and all n all just a great small business!

I needed my car inspected so I went right over and the lady there is so nice I wish I asked her name. She got me in right away and 5 minutes later my car was done. Great prices and very honest and friendly people here. She told me to wait inside the office and the A/C was blasting and such a comfy couch I was about to hang out all day lol. She told me they are busiest on Mondays and Fridays so if you can go during the week you will likely be in and out. I won't let anyone else touch my car and I'll always be back.
This is the mechanic to go in town. Not only are they the nicest people you'll ever meet, but they take pride in their work, honest and fair prices. This will be the only place I go to from now on.
Went there for a car inspection and before I could get comfortable in my seat he was finished..Been there for other minor things and I'm always pleased and satisfied

This place was highly recommended to us after we moved into town. Went today for an NC car inspection and we quickly realized we'd hit gold after meeting the folks at R.D. Auto. They're as friendly as they come, honest, and incredibly efficient. Got there 15min before close for a vehicle inspection and was in and out in 5min. Prices are extremely fair and it was such a breeze. Will definitely come back! Thanks y'all!!!

Randy is a great mechanic. He fixed my brakes and checked my air conditioning on my suburban. My air conditioning only needed Freon and he was able to put that in he got everything done in a timely manner. His wife Nicole is a great representative of their business she's very personable and has a great personality. I recommend Randy for whatever your mechanical needs are for all your automobile
I went to the UNC Chapel Hill Hospital for an appointment on Monday 7/25. Afterwards my daughter took care of me at her house while I rested and recuperated. I had planned to leave later in the week and did in fact start driving home. About 20 miles later I blew the bottom out of the radiator on my truck. I called AAA and they got me towed to R.D. Automotive. The mechanic had to order a new radiator, of course, and that took a day and a half. Being 200 miles from home and stranded without many options, Randy Daniels stayed late to fix my truck as get me on the road. He and Nicole were so nice and very professional from start to finish. God couldn't have put me in better hands! I'm so thankful for these two and what they'll did for me! I hope you never need them because you're stranded and broke down, but if you live there please give these fine people a call. You'll be glad you did! Thank you Randy! Thank you Nicole! Needed a starter replaced while I was on vacation. Super fast estimate response, and then super fast and friendly service putting in the new starter. Could not recommend more. Great folks and great service.

We had an emergency repair needed during our vacation. They were so accommodating and helpful. The service was fast and we can't say enough about how nice they were. Highly recommend this place!
Quickly diagnosed my bad water pump and ordered part. Complete repair same day even though had to replace another part found bad while replacing water pump. Randy stayed late to get the job done. I could not be more pleased.

From out of town we had a car problem and was recommended to us. It seemed a bit out of the way but was willing to try. They had us in and out quickly. Definitely would recommend them.
I just have to say that the lady who assisted me was absolutely wonderful!! As a small business I am just assuming that she and her husband are the owners. It is such a pleasure to deal with people who genuinely care about what they do and the people they help. I hope these lovely people keep a great business going.

Great friendly service! Always a great experience with fast friendly service and great pricing on all your basic auto needs. This is always the place my wife and I go to first for inspections, tires, oil changes etc.
In and out quickly for an inspection. Work done on another car was quick and done well. Employees/owners were friendly and professional. Highly recommend this place and I will be using them again.

VERY fair prices, outstanding work and very pleasant. The business is run by the owner, who is the mechanic, and his wife. He does excellent work on foreign vehicles as well as domestic vehicles. My two roommates, one with a Mercedes Benz, the other an Audi, myself with a Toyota, have always taken our vehicles here. All of his business is by word of mouth, and he's always busy. You, can't go wrong here!
