Showed up the day before an auction because I know you can go look at a lot on auction day but was told there was another auction that day so you can’t go look at it. I was following their rules just to be given new rules. The gentlemen just said no with no care about customer service. Since Copart has gotten so big they have lost all their good customer service.

I bought car from this location and I saw there’s a two key around of the string wheel and I was bit on the car and I get wind and today when my Driver he go pick up that car and he cannot find the key when he goes to the office to ask him about the key, they told him the car has a new key even on the picture it showed the keys around of the string wheel. I never bought any car more from this location.

A laughable location. The forklift operators definitely don’t think with their heads, and the management deserves a 1-star rating.

The worst Copart location possible in the USA. They force the driver to load a car with additional parts placed on top of the vehicle, which is not safe at all and can endanger the lives of both the driver and other road users. They do not care about safety at all. You have always been a 1-star location compared to others.

Corporate. Corrupt. Copart. That should be their motto. The employees stand behind the insane appointment process, coparts unfair fees, and Coparts seller based policies. The "customer service" was less than lacking at this location to put it lightly. I drove 4 hours with truck and trailer to pay for and pick up a won unit. Walked in the door, was greeted, and told they would be with me shortly. Someone helped me within 2 minutes. I brought my jump box and small tire inflator but was told they don't allow any equipment to be brought on premises. Proceeded to tell me they would lend me a jump box. alright. Went to view the vehicle I had come to pay for to ensure it did run, check the tires, underbody, etc. to ensure it would get on a trailer. Returned inside to pay with a cashier's check. I asked a lady (over at the small office space to the right as you walk in from the yard) what I needed to do to pick up a won vehicle. She asked if I had an appointment and then directed me to scan the QR code on the door for an appointment. I thought this was kinda wild since I was standing there in the flesh. Can't I just be logged in manually, or why was I not informed of this before coming? Next, I was told the vehicle has to be paid for before I can make an appointment by another girl working on the floor. (This can't be real, is this Black Mirror in real life?). I ended up having to wait about 15 minutes for my account information to be relayed to a manager tucked away in an office after handing over my check. After being charged $1100 over six separate fees, raising my $6200 bid to $7300 total, I then had to pay another $20 fee just to pay in person ( say whaaa). Fine, handed over $20 in cash. Pure nonsense. Obviously, this is all about money, surprise surprise. Next, I told the young lady helping me that I would like the vehicle driven out. She said okay, then went to relay to the ladies in the small office by the yard door (this must be their dispatch office). The lady behind the door frame was not at all going to allow my vehicle that I just purchased to be driven out. Allegedly becasue she couldn't have her guys stop what they were doing to drive the vehicle out. She said, "we don't work on cars here." Even though this was simply over one flat driver front tire. Now, if you remember, I brought my tire inflator, which I could have used while I was out in the yard, but was not allowed. This is the point where I was yelled at by said lady behind the door frame that decide to show her face while yelling at me (obviosly has more issues than the one I presented to her this day) "WE DON'T WORK ON VEHICLES ITS GETTING FORKED OUT!". I should have contained myself but yelled back, "THEN DRIVE IT OUT WITH A FLAT TIRE!". Some banter occurred. Shortly after that, the manager came out from his office. I had spoken with him briefly before entering the yard, so I got his attention again and proceeded to chat about the situation at hand. I almost had a good experience, but that came crashing down as I became more unraveled about the ridiculous policies and the fact they were not necessarily willing to help a paying customer. He told me he would get the vehicle out to me without forks and told me to leave the office. I did just that. Went to cool down, returned to the pickup section of the yard about 15 minutes later, and my vehicle was there. The pickup yard is about the size of a baseball field. Car haulers can't even turn around in there. I loaded up and got the heck out of there. I didn't get any names because I wasn't trying to be a Chad about it, but I did make it known I was very unhappy before being told to leave. I believe I was treated quite rudly for being a cash paying customer. Copart is the emitome of a corporate cash cow that only cares about the metrics (aka the amount of money going into their pockets). For all you people working for this company, just know you are just a number to them, and they do not care about you. Also, if you hate your job, you should seek another employer instead of taking it out on customers.

THIEVES don't let your car be brought. My car was towed here from another location after being stolen. I saw the car before being taken here and all my stuff was still in it. Come to get my plates and ALL my stuff was gone even the paperwork in the glove compartment. They of course couldn't find it and blamed the other tow truck company. What's even worse is there's another review here complaining of the same thing!!!! I got robbed twice.

After getting into am accident and my vehicle being there. Went back to collect all of my stuff including $1200 worth of tools and everything was gone. Completely. Then wants to blame it on a towing company that didnt even have the car for a week. Who is to say that their workers dont clear a vehicle before they but a lot number on it. Horrible service.

Horrible customer service, long faces, rude attitude, not even a good afternoon or good morning.. The receptionists are very rude and you can’t even see their faces, they’re hidden behind the computer monitor. And they speak to you like if you were asking them for a favor that they don’t want to do. They need customer service training asap @ the Mebane location!!!

they are very unprofessional and never call you back when they claim they will. And when you finally get them to answer they will hang up on you many many times. They also caused more damage to my car and claim they needed a video of it actually happening before they'd do anything about it. they're a terrible company do not go to them ever. They're all rude and highly unprofessional. I would recommend finding another place to do business with

I wanted to buy a car, but the car has no electricity at all, it was a big car that needed a lot of power, they only gave me electric jumpers, but I told them I needed something much bigger, they didn't help me, made me spend another $40 for nothing, I went to the copart in Gastonia, my goodness, such decent people who know how to do their job, thank you and may God bless them

Just becarful buying from this location. They are taking long distance shot that wan't show the damage , also they don't have 360 optio to show the damage or list secondary damage such undercarage damage, and this happens about 3 times already when they said its runs and drive and come pick it up it not driving . Do to suspension issue. Also hector hernandez the location manager he is the worst manager ever dealt with .

those who work there are racists only because i’m hispanic made me wait more than an hour and then they told me that they couldn't give me the car because I didn't have an appointment and that they were already closed

Their manager hector hernandez was the worst manager I have dealt with He cost my business several hundred dollars because of his mistake When I was finally able to talk to him he said that it was my fault for his mistake for calling to remind him To many times Seriously copart should take action in this situation I am very upset and will be contacting corporate to make a complaint

Seemless. 1 out of 20 experiences are positive with copart. This was quick and efficient. Office staff great. Loader was excellent. Grade A today.

Thieves! Went to get my personal belongings today from my totaled F-150 and someone took everything! Lesson definitely learned because I have never had to deal with a situation with a total loss but just know, get your belongings out of your vehicle as soon as it gets towed away from the scene even if you don't know it's a total loss because these people will steal. Screw this place. Hope you enjoy my husband's Chinese New Year 2021 Jordans and all his brand new fishing gear. *Don't sell that stuff online or wear those shoes in public, might be a bad idea ;)

Just look. They ONLY respond to 5 stars. Poor customer service. Do NOT trust their shipping options. I made payment as soon as I won the bid. After purchasing a vehicle (I'm ok with), I was called at 4 PM the day of the Auction to be told I would have to pick the vehicle up or have another company tow it to me.... For 400% more money.... Then I was told I would receive a refund for the shipping cost (minus the gate fee) after picking the vehicle up myself. A week later no refund. Called, and was told it would be credited to my account. Logged in. Over a week later. Not only was no credit applied, but there was no refund at all. I will not use copart again. Instead one of the many other sites that are out there (iaai.com) for instance. I am left challenging the unfortunate entire purchase, over 170$ with my CC company. I was happy with the rate for the vehicle.... Not their accounting practices. Copart could have made more money than 170 from future purchases off me. Oh well. Win some loose some.

CoPart for the win! ISUZU vehicles and parts are becoming harder and harder to find. 2 weeks ago I slid off of our driveway after an ice storm and smashed in to a 35 year old pine tree. We planted the trees from seedlings on our family property in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I was injured and pretty disappointed to say the least. When I returned home to Clayton, just east of Raleigh, North Carolina, I began the hunt for a replacement ISUZU. There were only eight 2nd Gen Troopers for sale at every auto auction across the United States. One was in Washington state, one in LA, California and another was in Anchorage, Alaska. So, I really had 5 that I could bid on realistically. CoPart had one up for auction in Mebane, North Carolina. In the 10 website pictures it looked interesting. I called the location to schedule a time that I could come inspect the vehicle before the auction. Once in the morning and once in the afternoon I was told by 2 different men that I absolutely could NOT inspect the suv in person, because it was up for auction that DAY. CoPart’s website clearly stated in text that anyone could inspect any vehicle up for auction all the way up to one HOUR before auction. I bid a low amount that Monday night and it was a no sale. The next day, Tuesday, it was up for auction again and I bid $25 more sight unseen. Again the ISUZU was a no sale. Wednesday would be the 3rd attempt to move the vehicle, through online sale, off of the lot. I called and spoke to a 3rd CoPart employee and she knew the actual rules of viewing ANY car up for auction. I went and spent 2 hours checking the Trooper out. That Wednesday night I stayed with my bid, not raising it a penny. I had to consider all of the broker and auction fees that would be tacked on. By Thursday I was still on the hook for my bid up until 6:00pm that day. The seller caved and took my offer. I picked up the burgundy Trooper after hours on Friday and transported it to my property. I’m thrilled with my purchase and I saved another ISUZU from the car crusher. The young lady that I dealt with deserves 10 stars. The two men get a single star from me for not having a clue about their employees’ actual rules.

I must say the manager at copart deahjane Brown is so rude, unprofessional, non Chalant with her job. She doesn’t care about customers need. I have had my title pending going more than a year now and she has never called or tried to do some investigation to know why my title keeps getting missing once it arrives. Dmv confirmed and showed me the evidence that my title has been sent to copart and the manager doesn’t care, rather all she did was the last time I spoke with her is hung the phone on me. The title clerk hector has been doing a great job, fighting hard over this just to be over. He speaks professional and calm and understands the customer needs. I felt hector was the manager because he is well composed with his statements and languages but the manager was just talking sarcastically and vulgar. Other dealers buying vehicle from this same location says the same thing about her and she doesn’t care. I will highly recommend anyone not to buy from this location because that manager already has a bad reputation. The title clerk called hector should be the manager not deahjane brown. Dmv told me my title has been sent to that location twice and the so called manager called deahjane Brown couldn’t dig in deep and know what is going on? That’s absurd

They work pretty fast. Before I left the office they have already pulled the vehicle up front and were ready to help load it. Don't know how it will be during the day, but mornings are fast.

There was a line but people who bought 2 days ago have to have their cars paid for today or fees start for storage. The lady was quick when she got to me though. Friendly people.

This is by far the best auction to purchase a vehicle!! I've used most all of the NC lots at one time if the other between me & several family members and friends. It's an easy process from beginning to the auction day when bidding begins on whatever your final selection is... Just remember folks its not eBay so bidding prior to the start of the auction only unfortunately results in you having to buy it for far more than if it started at zero... Leave the vehicle at zero and save your bids for the actual day of auction when it comes up

We sit in middle of the road for over 20 mins just to get in the front before allowed going in the gate. Honestly need to expand parking area for trucks that are waiting to be loaded. But the loader operator was awesome. He was quick with the cars and every person that tried to cut the line he kicked them out.

Arrogant manager! I came in for the first time with my son. This "manager" told me that my son can't go on yard because he is nonmember and under 18. But this what i found on copart web site: "Nonmembers are welcome at the locations, too, but must pay a $20 visitor fee for each facility visit. When you register to be a Copart Member for free, the fee is waived! Please note: All guests must be at least 16 years of age to enter Copart locations" So he lies me twice. Nonmembers are welcome for $20 fee and my son should be at least 16 y.o. not 18! Nobody even mention $20 fee for nonmebers! I just found out this when back home and Im very angry abiut this. Apologises are waiting!

We bought a vehicle from this location, and it had more damage that was shown in the pictures. The manager would not stand behind the damages, and try to make it right. That instance was a big case of misrepresentation. I would not recommend anybody buy from this location because they are a bunch of crooks.
