Harry is the best! My family has been bringing our cars to Straub for years and Harry will always help when he can. Recently the connecting pipe for the exhaust was hanging off my car and I was scheduled to drive out of state the next day. I took it straight to Harry after work and he and his team were able to fix the pipe and secure the car in a couple of hours. Thank god they are open late on Thursdays! Thanks guys!

I had my brakes done at Straub Auto Repair in Hastings-on-Hudson back in November, but since I didn’t drive the car much afterward, some rust developed on the rear rotors. Totally my fault — I should’ve driven it more. I brought the car back to Straub, and without hesitation, they saw exactly what had happened and replaced the rotors, even though it wasn’t their responsibility. It’s rare to find a shop that stands behind their work like this, and even rarer to find a team of people who genuinely care about their customers. Straub is honest, professional, and just overall fantastic. We’re incredibly lucky to have such an amazing mechanic and team right here in Hastings. Highly, highly recommend!

A nice, honest mechanic who only does the necessary repairs within your time frame and budget. One knock, which isn't really, is that sometimes you have to book an appointment a week or two in advance. To me, that just means they're good and in demand.

We've been taking our vehicles to Straub for the last decade. We now live further away, but still make the trip and arrangements to get our vehicles to Harry Straub due to his honest, reputable, and expert opinion.

I went in for an inspection. Harry noticed some other issues and called me right away. The work was all done in a day, and the price is very reasonable. I feel lucky to have a local mechanic that I trust.

I can’t say enough good things about Straub. Two days after moving to Yonkers I got a flat tire. I happened to be near Straub so went there to fill it with air but it had a large tear that couldn’t be fixed. Straub took my car right away and, since I had been looking for new tires, had them get me a quote on 4 tires. They got me one that was less than I had seen and did the work that day. It was a great end to a bad situation.

I’m a first-time car owner after having just moved to the area from Manhattan. I bought a used car from Carvana and I just brought my car in for the 20,000 mile checkup, tire rotation and oil change. Everyone was so friendly, and the job was completed quickly and at a reasonable price. No unnecessary upcharges. Great to have them so close to my home! I will be using Straub for all my future auto needs.

Eddie and Harry are caring and helpful guys. I tell all my friends and neighbors to go here which is why it's so damn crowded... Everybody tells people who they like to take their vehicle to Straubs. Very fair prices and great advice. Debbie at front desk is knowledgeable and very capable.

Here to give credit where it’s due, this place is every first time car owners dream! Not only the staff is nice and polite but the service is always outstanding everytime I had to take my car to Straub it was a same day solution, literally in and out in minutes and the prices were fair and affordable. I felt safe and not taken advantage of, my concerns were always addressed and heard wish I could give them 1000 stars!

Honest, Trustworthy and Reliable They did less work and charged me less money than they were authorized to. My filters were fine as they were, so Straub didn't change them unnecessarily and saved me the money! When does that happen with an auto repair shop? These guys are GREAT!

Have been going to Straub for a couple of years now. They are the best, most professional repair facility I have ever used. Always exactly what you need an nothing more. Recently, my car was towed there for an alternator replacement. They completed the repair right away and made the process easy for me. Great staff, excellent mechanics!

Straub consistently provides excellent service and high quality workmanship. They are friendly, prompt and accommodating. The communication is excellent and they always explain in detail what needs to be done and why. Most important, they are transparent and trustworthy. Having owned cars for 50 years or so, I would say that Straub provides the best service and workmanship I have ever experienced. Highly recommended.

Straub is the best!! I drive in from upper Manhattan (and have for years) to get my older car serviced there, because they are consistently so professional, kind, and expedient. I have always left happy, and as an added bonus, if you commute to Manhattan, they are located right next to the Hastings on Hudson Metro North stop—super easy to drop a car, train in the the city, and come back later for pick up. Can’t say enough good things about them! 10/10.

I have been going to Straub's Auto Repairs for years. I have found them to be very professional and HONEST! For servicing, I can drop it off and pick it up later in the day. They know their business and I have never had a problem with whatever they have done to my car. One car I had for 13 years with no problems! By going to them on a regular basis for oil changes and fluid changes, that's what kept it going for 13 years. I decided to buy a new car because I wanted more features. I suggest you should try them. You will be satisfied!
