I called them at 10pm at night. Cody answered the phone and was very polite and sympathetic. I’m pretty sure he was on his way before I even got off the phone. He was towing my car within 1/2 hr of calling. They are awesome and would definitely call them again if the need arises.

The gentleman that answered the phone was polite enough but didn't seem to care that it was the only vehicle my family had and was not willing to drive and tow it to where I needed it because he was the only one working and didn't want to even though they are contracted through my insurance company so I had to go out of pocket and pay someone else $200 that I shouldn't have had to pay because he didn't care how leaving my car on the side of the road affected my family when I needed to get to the repair shop

They sold 2016 nissan altima to my 17 year old Son on 4-1-2025 cleared check engine light. Had it up for 4800 we paid 4,000 they tried 4,300 I refused so they took 4,000 they car is only used to drive back and forth to school. Took car to nissan cause check engine light is on to find out transmission is gone. I called and was told NYS is as is state which it is NOT. You have to write AS IS on the bill of sale which was not wrote on bill of sale. Which when owning a business there is better business bureau and other places I have contacted. So please pay attention if purchasing anything for these people.

Called for assistance with a flat and was told they would be there in about 15 minutes. Showed up almost exactly to that estimate. Cody was so kind, professional, and helped us get back on the road quickly. Service was also extremely affordable.

We needed a jump and spoke with Cody. He said he’d meet us where we were stuck in about 25 minutes. He was there in about 10 minutes! He was incredibly nice and helped us in no time on a very cold night. Thank you!!

Excellent experience had them tow my truck to the mechanics shop and they arrived on time and professional. Also much cheaper than the alternatives. Definitely recommend.

Our car broke down in Manchester, VT, over Christmas weekend. Rick was enlisted by roadside assistance to tow it to Manchester, NH, the day after Christmas. He was great…professional, friendly, efficient, and communicated clearly about his arrival time. We are grateful for his help during a stressful situation!

Tow Away was the only company i could find on a Sunday to come get my vehicle in Albany after a accident and tow it to Glens Falls. Went above and beyond when we were stuck in Maine on such short notice!!! David was super nice and made the whole experience for the two of us and our dog much better than we could have even hoped for in such a sticky situation. Crossing our fingers we won’t need a tow truck anytime soon but if we do we know who we’re calling!

Cant say enough about these guys. Used them for towing and repairs. Always had repairs done quickly, often times while i wait. Less expensive than any other shop ive been to and i actually trust these guys. Highly recommend them to everyone i meet. Very thankful to have them as my mechanics

This place is great the employees are wonderful they are friendly and very quick. And Deniz at the front desk is great very friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone! They really helped me out when I was in a bind when my heater core went bad in my vehicle and i was an hour in a half away from home. They were right on top of it. Plus i can't leave out the tow truck guy friendly fast service thank you towaway for everything you have done for me.

In response to your reply below.... it seems like your mechanics need to do better documentation because I did tell them that it was suggested to me by other people that the car would need a new engine (given that it was driven without oil after the pipe burst and then went up in smoke). My point is - it didn't even take a mechanic to see that in a matter of minutes, when it took your staff 5 hours of labor. Your mechanic said that was absolutely not the case - that it just needs a new PVC hose and would cost me a total of $100. You then called and said that it would cost $1000 to repair at which point I said I would consult with my boyfriend and get back to you. You then CALLED my boyfriend after asking me for his number "to ask him when he last did an oil change." At no point did I (or him for that matter) authorize any repair beyond the initial $100. I have received nothing in writing even after requesting this from you. The vehicle belongs to me, which you knew, so I'm not sure why you would ask for any authorizations to do repairs to it from anyone else in the first place, unless you didn't like me saying that I didn't want to spend $1000 on the car. We called you the following morning to tell you not to proceed with the repairs, not to "change our mind" as there was no such authorization given in the first place. After we tried to contact you about picking up the car, you said it was already taken apart and I owed you $500, or $1000 to put it back together to a non-running vehicle. So yes, I came there in person to discuss the matter. And I agreed to pay you the $300 to get my car back because you threatened to charge me storage fees and repossess it if I did not. Also, I asked to tow the car myself and you refused to allow me to do this, so I was forced by you to pay YOU to tow it to get the car back. Furthermore, at no point did I ask you to do an oil change on a car that would not run. The PVC pipe is worth $18 online, which was left on the passenger seat, not even installed, with the tag still on it. Sorry, but not only are you unprofessional, but also dishonest with your customers. Your business chose to take advantage of a customer's bad situation to make a profit.

My car broke down and I made the mistake of having it towed to this place. Mechanics get a bad rep, and it’s because of people like this. If you want to get screwed over, lied to, and get taken advantage of, these are your guys. I had a couple of friends look at my car before I had a towed. Both said it would need a new engine. Brought it there, they told me that the engine was fine, and it just needed a new PVC pipe for the oil and would cost me only $100. Great news! Get a call back to say that it’s actually going to be $1000 because other parts need to be replaced. Told them I would think about it, but they started taking it apart anyways. Then five hours into the job, called to say that the car actually needs a new engine and would cost about 4K. I told them I never authorized any work beyond the initial $100, and that was for a guarantee that the car would be fixed — as they claimed. They said they would make me a deal. The deal was: I pay them $500 to have my car back in pieces or pay for another four or five hours of labor to have the car put back together. I told them that was ridiculous since I would be getting nothing out of this other than my car back in worse condition than before it got to them. So they said they would cut me a BETTER deal, and that is for me to pay them ONLY $250 and THEY keep my car for parts. They said if I didn’t pick it up, they would start charging me storage of $60 a day and then repossess my vehicle in 10 days. Ended up paying them $300 to get my car back. Now filing a small claims lawsuit. If I could give 0 stars I would.

So I scheduled a tow for the day after my car failed me. They showed up that day promptly and professionally. They got me where I needed to go and for a reasonable price I might say. The associate was careful and respectful with me as well as my vehicle. Would recommend TowAway to others who need their services.

Great business! I was picked up within thirty minutes of my call and was taken care of by the friendly driver. The mechanic was extremely knowledge about the car, more so than the brand dealer's mechanics. All around great service and very cheap, would highly recommend.

Accidentally selected the wrong rating. These guys were good to me, my car was towed, they took great care of it while in there possession. I was able to pick it up the next morning, the fee was reasonable.

I used Tow Away LLC when my car broke down. They came right away and helped to get my car home. They were very accommodating to our situation and had great customer service. We had a dog with us and they had no problem with him riding with us. Overall I would definitely use Tow Away’s services again and recommend them to anyone.

My experience with tow-away was truly superb. They skillfully picked up my van and I chose to bring it to their repair facility and their repair team was fantastic. Geico interfaced with them seamlessly and now TowAway LLC is in my phone, as my go to folks.

We were in a very bad situation at 10:30 at night when we needed to have a boat and trailer flat bedded as the trailer would not work. Cody and Chris were very professional, prompt, and highly reasonable for the work they had to do. We weren’t able to get to the final destination until 2am and they were very thorough during the whole procedure. They made a very stressful experience better and I would highly recommend TowAway for any future services. Anthony also moved the boat/trailer a few days later for us to a marina. Was stranded on the Northway between Exit 19 and 20. I called these guys and they were there in within 20 minutes. And for a reasonable fee. Considering where I was. Excellent Service. The driver even made sure we were ok and had a way back home. Deff give TowAway LLC if your ever stranded.

They told us they would arrive in 40 minutes but they arrived in less than 20 minutes. The guys were very polite and professional and in 5 minutes we were on our way. I asked them for a business card which I now keep in my truck just in case . Thank you gentlemen.

This guys are amazing! Broke down on my way home, back to Vermont. They came and picked me up, towed my truck and got it in the next day and was ready to go. Ran into a little hiccup but they took care of me. Highly recommend them. Wish I didn't live so far away or else I would make them my regular mechanic.

I made arrangements for a tow a day in advance and was told I would receive a call by 1 or 2 pm on the day of the tow with a specific time. I never received a call and I took the day off from work. I finally called them at 3 pm and was told they could not tow the car because the car was “too low”. When asked what I should do now, the only response was to “call my insurance company.” I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and will not use or recommend them.

These guys were great, I had a dead battery when I closed up my booth at the Lake George Craft show last night. I called and they were there quickly, jumped my battery and I was on my way. Thanks for the great and courteous service. Hope it doesn't happen again but you're definitely the guys I'd call.

Tim was prompt, efficient and really friendly. He tried to fix the problem on my Jeep and only when it was apparent the issue could not be resolved did he choose the towing option. Hope I won't need him again, but if I do, TowAway will be the business I turn to.

Called them to set up a tow when my truck's clutch went out. I called a message in the morning initially and didn't hear from them. No big deal, that happens with businesses fairly regularly. I called them again in the afternoon and got a response. We talked prices, they were reasonable, and discussed their availability since I was still looking for a garage to work on the truck. The company representative told me they were busy that day, and it would take about an hour from when I called back to pick up the truck. Sent their contact info to my employee that was handling the situation. Once the repair location was arranged later that evening, he tried to set up a pickup time with them, they said they would call him back. They never did. He called them again a few hours later. They said they were still busy and they would call him back. They never got back to him that night. Tried to contact them the next day and still nothing. Set it up through another local company. They wasted half a day of my employee's time and we never heard back from them. That is no way to do business. I understand if you are busy. Tell me you can't do it or at least return a call. I don't like to leave bad reviews, but this warrants one.
