We took an impromptu snowshoeing adventure and everything was great. Cute little shop, the trails had a good variety of difficulty. Would love to go again!

If you’re looking to drag your spouse (family) into the frozen wilderness without the subsequent "papers", this is the spot. We hit the trails for some snowshoeing and—miraculously—the scenery, the trails, the whole experience lived up to the hype. The river, the frozen waterfall, the views, the nature of it all are impressive enough to make you forget your toes are numb. The trails provide just enough "nature" to feel rugged without requiring a search-and-rescue team. (Very well mapped and marked) Although I'm not sure how the hike could be uphill both ways! The setup here is surprisingly civilized for the middle of the woods. There’s a terrific little shop for this and that and the fire pit area is the perfect place to thaw out and question your life choices. Best of all, the prices won't leave you as cold as the Adirondack air. Truly a top-tier winter experience that managed to be both fabulous and, dare I say, reasonably priced.

A beautiful place with welcoming hosts. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed an interesting experience. A very atmospheric place with a fire pit, pavilion and games. We would love to come back here in the summer.

A really fascinating place to visit for a decent hike/ tour. It's a self guided tour after you grab your tickets inside the gift shop. There are some pretty incredible views & a few astounding caves you can explore. The trail features quite a bit of stairs & winding paths so come prepared (eg. walking stick if need be). We saw plenty of families, children & seniors on the trail so it's suitable for an array of people. We saved the coolest part for last: cracking open a few geodes. The color inside & chance to have a hollow geode is completely random but it's enchanting to wait & see what color is inside! We love this place. They also have snowshoeing trails in the winter when the self guided tour is unavailable.

It was a nice hike through the park and I found it very interesting seeing all the various sites. From the small caves with the stream running through them to the mineral shop at the entrance. Entrance fee was reasonable and the day was gorgeous!

Went and looked around the rock shop with my brother. There are so many wonderful and unique items in the shop. My favorites were the beautiful dragons on geodes and amethyst specimens. We had such a wonderful time looking around. The owner was extremely kind and very knowledgeable; he made the experience so much fun. And that was just looking around the shop and doing some geode popping! The rock shop is truly an adventure in and of itself. I cannot wait to go back with my family and explore the park and see the caves. I will be sure to update my review and photos. Thank you so much for everything! We will be back soon! Update: We went back and popped more geodes. I adopted a mystery dragon and he is adorable! Jill and Sarah are absolutely amazing and once again my family had a wonderful time.

Natural Stone Bridge & Caves... WOW! Definitely recommend visiting!!! All of the staff was extremely pleasant, bathrooms were clean, they have a ton of stuff in their shop to buy, and the self guided tour around the property was awesome! They have walking sticks you can borrow and lots of great photo spots too. They also have information and pictures posted around as you follow the path. If you're in the area, definitely stop in!

I had pretty low expectations going into our visit but it ended up being really great. The map was helpful even though the walkways were clearly marked and easy to follow. The trail markers had really interesting information and history. They did a great job with all the pathways and you really got to see a lot of different areas from different perspectives. I thought the petrified wood was really cool since I had never seen that before and the gift shop has an amazing collection of rocks, crystals, and fossils. I would definitely recommend a visit!

Very unique place! Worth every penny to visit, I would go back if I came back to visit this town. I could see this place being very busy on weekends and during the summer. We came during on a weekday in September and it was very peaceful

My wife loves exploring caves and we went on an adventure. Natural Stone Bridge and Caves such an amazing place to visit and explore. Walking through the caves and seeing massive stone bridges was both fun and exciting. The trails were beautiful and full of cool spots to discover and the whole experience was a mix of adventure and relaxation. One of my favorite parts was sitting by the slow moving river with my wife, which made everything feel so peaceful. Definitely a must see!

The staff's service and assistance were truly exceptional. The trail's pristine condition, free of any litter, was certainly noteworthy. Moreover, the paths are well-maintained and appropriate for those new to the activity, with clear markings that help to prevent any confusion. The scenic views were also quite impressive.

Family friendly with well maintained wooden walk way making a loop around all the water landforms. When the water level is low you can walk onto the river bed to see some potholes. We went on labor day and it was not busy. Spent around 1.5 hours there.

Always a fun place to go and walk. This takes about 1.5 hours if you take your time. You may not have cell phone service in this area unfortunately. But this place is worth the visit and is a hidden gem.

We enjoyed our time at Natural Stone Bridge and Caves. Some steps were steep so it’s good to hold on to the railings. The map was pretty easy to follow to see all of the view stops. We bought a geode and got it popped. It was pretty cool. They didn’t just sell stuff and take your money. The guys in the shop took the time to explain how the geodes are formed, where they are from, and what colors of crystals might be found before buying them.

Beautiful place to visit and admire from the outside. There are no caves to actually go into so we were a little disappointed however it was still great

Really amazing caves and rock formations. Stone steps, wooden bridges and handrails to use if you need to. Very nicely done . My family loved it. I'm a senior citizen with some hip issues and I had no problem navigating the trail. They have free walking sticks that you can use. A lovely gift shop and a Mining activity for the kids. I'd go back again.

We brought our grandchildren ages eight and six to the attraction. They were in love and appreciated the natural beauty. This place has to offer. The terrain is a little challenging for elderly people, so be prepared to watch your step! But every step is worth while. It is a natural beauty not to be missed. And don’t forget your ice cream at the store at the corner of Route nine as a reward!

Nice hiking area. Good for the whole family. Lots of rocks to check out and Plenty of activities for the kids. You might want to bring your own food if you plan to stay a while. There's only one small snack shack. Only one area for bathrooms too, which for me was not ideal. You don't actually get to go deep inside the caves, except for one small area where the water comes in.

I am so glad we decided to try this place. My kids were in heaven for several hours as we scrambled over bridges and boulders, peered into caves, and picked out treasures in the gift shop. The scenery is really gorgeous and the whole place is well laid-out and family-friendly. The staff was friendly and helpful, even letting my daughter "pop" her own geode. We loved it!

Super fun spot for kids and adults alike. It happened to be raining during our visit but that did not stop us. The trail was fun and beautiful for us and our child. She really enjoyed cracking a geode at then end and exploring.

Very fun place to spend the day. It had lots of very neat formations to look at. We also popped a geode that was cool. One of the owners was very interesting to talk with. We will be back again.

The hike path was amazing and the caves with water rushing was just out of this world! My daughter was super excited the entire way. Thank you for having us!!

Fantastic park with many photo opportunties. It's very adventurous so have good shoes on and get ready for action. The caves are humid and wet, so a hat may be useful. For the rest ENJOY IT. Highly recommended, you can spend two hours or five hours, depending on the speed and what you want to see.

I love going here on my birthday this place is incredible. Unfortunately we had to cut it short due to an overdramatic teenage daughter of ours. But I had the most incredible birthday there over the week and I highly recommend it. The stones and crystals, and my personal opinion are very very expensive possibly overpriced...... but I also get all of my crystals and rocks from the miners themselves at the bulk prices so I can't really blame them for trying to make a profit out of tourist attraction. 🤷♀️ with that said they are extremely friendly stuff and so helpful and kind. The the hike is so amazingly beautiful and fun. I absolutely love it there I just wish the geodes were not so severely overpriced I was very shocked to find out they range in the thousands and higher...... but that's just me. This place is still amazing despite that one little thing. I absolutely recommend this it's one of the most beautiful and funnest places to go and I can't wait to go back! Keep up the good work ladies! Ps: I am an artist and photographer professionally and all of my work is copyright protected so please don't even try because we will find out especially with today's AI technology. Thank you and enjoy

Natural Stone Bridge & Caves is a must-visit for nature lovers! The park offers a unique experience with its impressive rock formations, stunning natural bridges, and beautiful caves. The trails are well-maintained, clearly marked, and suitable for all ages. I was amazed by the geological wonders and the informative signage along the way, which provided interesting insights into the area's history and formation. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, making the visit even more enjoyable. It’s a perfect spot for a family outing or a peaceful solo adventure. Highly recommend spending a few hours exploring this hidden gem!

We discovered a hidden gem near Lake George—the Natural Bridge and Caves. We had an amazing day exploring the area! The Natural Bridge and Caves were fascinating to see, and the hike was a fun adventure for my kids, though it's not stroller-friendly and might be a bit challenging for older visitors. Ticket prices were moderate, with adults at $20 and kids up to 12 years old at $10. We would definitely visit again. At the entrance, you can also purchase various stones, which adds to the experience. We visited on a weekday and were able to walk in and buy tickets without any hassle. If you're certain about your visit, you can book tickets and a timeslot 24 hours in advance, but otherwise, walk-ins or telephone bookings are the only options. The hike took us about two hours, as we took our time, snapped a lot of pictures, and enjoyed the scenery. There’s plenty of parking available, along with clean restrooms and a play area for kids. The stone mining activity was a hit with the kids, though you'll need to buy sandbags for it. We had a wonderful time with our family, and we’re definitely planning to come back!

It's a great way to spend hiking time with family. It takes roughly 1-2 hours depending on how much time you spend on each spot. Overall a great fun activity. Even older people can enjoy the tail if they have some family members supporting them and taking care.

This will be our fifth trip out to the facility and it never fails to impress. Throughout the facility, the trails are meticulously maintained, ensuring a safe and enjoyable exploration of this unique landscape. The knowledgeable staff enrich the experience with their passion for the area, offering insights into the caves' formation and local wildlife. Whether you're a seasoned explorer or a family looking for a memorable outing, Natural Stone Bridge and Caves promises an unforgettable adventure amidst stunning natural landscapes and geological wonders.

Great place! We did the self guided tour, and it's a pretty good hike with amazing views and really cool features. They tell you to stop at a certain number but we kept going and saw the whole thing. The gift shop is really nice and has lots of beautiful crystals and petrified wood.
