We’ve been going to this mechanic for about a year and a half, and it’s honestly gone way downhill. Recently we were told one price and ended up being charged $300 more—no warning, no explanation. Oh and heads up, now, apparently the price of oil has gone up by $20 out of nowhere? $75.60(tax included) a few months ago, to now being $90? Just feels shady. There are plenty of other family-owned shops in town that actually care about their customers. We’re definitely not coming back.
I wish I could give this place zero stars. I’ve been here a few times on the recommendation of family, but each visit has been disappointing. I always end up being overcharged, and they add on extra services I didn’t ask for—sometimes adding a couple hundred dollars to the bill without warning.
On my last visit, I needed my trunk lift fixed because it kept falling on me. I supplied a new part, but instead of properly installing it, they just removed a screw from the other side and left me with only one screw holding each piece in place. If that’s all they were going to do, I could have done it myself.
Most recently, I asked if they could match or beat the dealership’s quote, which was already high. They said yes—only to charge me over $1,000 more than the dealership once the work was done. There was no phone call or any communication to let me know the price was going to be higher before proceeding with the repairs. If I had known, I would have chosen differently.
Overall, I’m extremely disappointed and will not be coming back. The lack of transparency and the constant upcharges make it impossible for me to recommend this place to anyone.
Thought I'd try him out. Absolute jerk. Very rude and aggressive. Hostile demeanor towards new customers. Engages in uncalledfor confrontations when simply asked for normally provided services documentation. If a pleasant customer service experience is important to you, then I'd warn you to keep moving and save yourself a bad time with a mean spirited individual. Many other options nearby with as good or better work quality.

Ray is amazing. I have been coming to Ray for a few years now and I have no complaints. He's honest he doesn't fix things that don't need to be fixed. He is always been very fair and helped us out in so many ways I definitely recommend him.

Brought in my Chevy Equinox because it was overheating.. they told me they replaced my thermostat, and needed $2000 worth of work to replace a blown head gasket. Go somewhere else for second opinion... and guess what, they didnt replace my thermostat at all AND my head gasket was fine, just needed a $300 water pump. Bunch of crooks at first place...
