Had our car towed away from our house on Valentines Day Weekend. Specifically, a Saturday, when this place is supposed to be closed... Plus it must have been at like 4 in the morning, because we both get up at 5 to go to work. There was no knock on the door, which they're supposed to do. We are not even sure if they actually towed it, or used a master key, which they're also not supposed to do. Had to wait 4 days because they towed it when they were closed, and Monday was a holiday. They had stolen all of our personal items, which again, they're not supposed to do. Also, we live in Binghamton, and this place is over 30 miles away, which is also something they're not supposed to do, and it just confirmed to us that they either broke into it, or used a master key. Yes this happened a while ago, but as we look into it more, it seems we might have something to go with legally if we want to, and we just might, because now our key fobs are not working properly and the rear axle on our car is now messed up. If ya'll needed lunch money hat bad, that you had to tow a car when you are closed, we would have thrown you like $15 dollars. Luckily the people we loan from said they would pay the bill because they, and our insurance company knew how shady the whole thing was. Not to mention, I almost slipped and fell on all of the ice in their "lot." Meanwhile, they had 5 bags of salt on their front porch, and about 4 people just sitting on a couch on the inside. This is why ya'll need lunch money so bad... If anyone else has had a similar experience with this "company," please don't hesitate to get the word out there. These people are straight up breaking the law and stealing and destroying people's property, and they need to be held accountable.
6 grand to rescue and haul and F150 from Apalchin to owego, on a snowy night ( less than 3 inches). I expected a high price because of the weather, but 6 grand? That literally highway robbery. Never again.
This company was called to an accident scene by my house but there is a bridge out blocking the fastest way there. There is a marked detour that shows them how to get around. There was no rush to get to the scene yet they felt it was ok to trespass onto my property to get around the closed bridge. They had to drive by a “Private property. No trespassing” sign to do so. They scared my daughter who was home alone at the time. This was a horrible use of judgment. You don’t trespass on someone property just to save a few minutes,
Gave Relyeas a call after a booked driver from another company failed show up. They were meant to flatbed a new vehicle 3 hours south of Ithaca. Even thought we called them late in the day, Joe from Relyeas was on the case and they drove my new truck down to me. Joe and the rest of the team couldn't have been more polite, accomodating, and considerate. Thanks, ya'll!
Worst experience imaginable. They showed up at 1a.m. to tow my mother’s car. No notice, no knock, no call. She woke up and thought her car had been stolen (even called the police). They left permanent marks in her concrete driveway. They also chose to do this on a Friday night so that she could not get the car back until the next week. Leaving it on an open and unsecured lot over the weekend, full of her personal belongings. Shame on this company. Her husband recently passed and she was a month behind. Disgusting.
Extremely disappointed. At 11pm, they came and towed our vehicle with no notice, no mail, no call, no knock on the door when they towed it, literally nothing. They just took it AFTER HOURS and didn’t even knock on the door or give any notice. Also, let scratches in our driveway which are now permanent. Overall, 0 stars.
You were hired to do one thing. Relyea's Towing towed a 5th wheel to our property and not only parked it about 4 feet off the pad, but got their truck stuck and had to call another one of their trucks to tow them out. This created huge ruts in the grass on BOTH sides of my driveway. Then they refused to make it right. They were given repeated opportunities to work this out. We had to hire someone else to move the camper over. In reality it's 0 stars for Relyea's Towing.
Excellent folks to deal with. Needed the truck hauled, twice in 2 days and they were there as promised. Much less expensive than others around. I especially like supporting a local business like this.
Worst experience ever. What recommend them to anybody? What other client till they have needs to get rid of them? They need to get the they need to get the town after them cuz they're the worst service ever taking people's cars like that they need to be all fired
BUYER BEWARE I bought a truck from them. I got it home and found frame damage. They said that they looked thru it. I took it back to get my money back bill of sale stated 2300 they refused to give me the full amount. They inspected it and all. If they are willing to sell a vehicle with frame damage and put people in danger if that frame broke on highway.
Called a day in advance for a morning tow from my work to the shop. At 1pm, no tow, called the office and complained, no resolution. Called back at 230, was told the driver would be there in an hour to an hour and a half. Called back at 4pm, still no tow, office said driver was a half hour away picking up cars, asked when he would arrive, she couldn't say for sure, but i could leave the money and the keys with the car. Told them i wouldnt be doing Thad and i works call it off and have becks do it. She said "that sounds great hon, have a nice day. It's amazing to me that a business as incompent as this one is still in business because they shouldn't be. DON'T CALL HERE, HARNESS YOUR DOG AND TOW IT YOURSELF, BELIEVE ME IT WOULD BE MORE PRODUCTIVE! long story short just call becks towing in Appalachin, they'll do it right. Rayleas couldn't give a cheap about you or customer service!
