Had an older vehicle that I could maybe get 3 to 600 books for but we all know the hassle of selling something that's an old car and you might have issues finding the darn title etc etc...
Well have no fear I gave these guys a call and within 10 minutes they texted me an offer which was about 50 to 100 bucks more than other offers I received. Within two or three days and independent flatbed driver on their behalf came to my driveway to pick up the vehicle and had the agreed upon cash in hand for me. Great process and definitely recommend these guys.

Called a few different companies for a price quote. I needed to get rid of my vehicle that was no longer drivable. I spoke with Jimmy at Gershow Recycling, I was pleasurably surprised at his great personality. He offered to take the vehicle off my hands that very same day. He sent a tow truck right over to where my car was located and that guy handed me the agreed upon quoted price in crisp $100 bills cash. Easiest transaction ever!!
So my 2004 Armada gave out and it was just parked in front of our house. My husband called a couple of places and the most they wanted to give us was about $400. I’m super skeptical when it comes to stuff like this “we give you cash for your old stuff” but these folks are legit! They are super easy, swift & above all they offered MORE than we thought we would’ve gotten for the car. So Thank you Gershow, you guys are truly amazing!

Original call for appointment was great. After I made that call, gershow no longer answered my calls. Could not do 24hrs as advertised, was told by tower that he no longer comes to Riverhead for pick up originally, did not call me back like he said. Reached out the next day to see other options, they put the same tower on phone with an excuse on to why no call back. Driver states could not come for 4 days and told me to ask apartment complex to extend the date. Tried calling gershow again for other options, no answer. I just went and purchased the items needed so that I could just drive my car to get rid of it. Customer service at riverhead junkyard was amazing, and original call to make appointment was amazing.
Such a simple process. Submitted a quote online, got answered within an hour. The Tower was at my house next day to pick up the vehicle. The Tower was a sub contractor and had great communication, was friendly, and quick. Highly recommended!
Sold my old car and was hooked up with Gershow, great experience!! Office staff was competent and friendly and the driver who came for the pick up was amazing. Highly recommend!
My Mother donated her car and we were assigned Gershow Towing. We had the best experience! From confirmation to picking up the vehicle for towing it was so easy. Customer service was excellent and the driver of the tow truck whose name was Tom was sooo nice and helpful. It was an absolute pleasure meeting and having him assist us. We’re so happy with our experience!
Absolutely unorganized and a huge time waster. Definitely use a different company. They use L&L Auto Transport who are the worst. Gershow should have better resources.
What a process! They took what could be stressful and annoying—selling a car—and made it a breeze. Their offer was definitely fair and the entire process from the first time I emailed them to the pickup was extremely quick, efficient and easy. All in the same day. Highly, highly recommended.
I'm 43 years old. I've been going to them since I was 10 years old all the workers are great. And they pay good I've never got a flat tire from go in the back ever
The process was easy and the tow truck driver was very communicative about when he'd be there and what to expect. He called 25 minutes before pick up and confirmed all the information again and the pick up was smooth and fast.
Ease of arranging car pick up was good. I did call the number given to me in the follow up to accept my offer and it took a few calls to the main number to get someone to call me back. Neal’s towing was assigned to do my pickup which was scheduled for between 10am and 12 Pm. At 1:40 I called the towing company they said he was running behind. The tow did not come until after 4 pm! The driver apologized for the delay , I received my payment in cash and my car was loaded on the tow! Would use again but would have appreciated someone from either company to call and keep me informed of the delay.
The process of donating our car, the immediate response, the clear instructions and the pick up was done in 36 hours. Very impressive. The driver of the pick up was very good in maneuvering the pick up truck to get to the car which was not easy. Thank you Grrshow Recycling for a great job done.
It was a very good experience salvaging our old work trucks. Everything from the online submission to salvage a vehicle, to getting a quick response on a Saturday morning (under 20 minutes, I wasn't expecting to hear from anyone until Monday), to speaking with the tow companies for scheduling the pick up.
It was all very efficient and communication was on par.

The price was fair. I got cash upon arrival after giving up keys, title and their routine walk around check. The whole process took 2 days from the moment I called to pickup, the tow personnel was great got the car out in under 20mins. Pretty impressive for a car that doesn't drive.
I had a 2004 Dodge Durango that basically rotted out but I have to say that the 5.7 liter engine was as strong since day one.
I called Gershow Recycling and they paid me 500 dollars that’s providing you still have the catalytic converters. I would recommend any one with a car that doesn’t work or an old bomb sitting in your driveway..
