I recently needed to have my vehicle inspected and, after researching options online, chose this shop based on its excellent reviews. The location was also a major convenience, just a one-minute drive from my home.
Although it was Valentine’s Day and I did not have an appointment, I called that morning to see if they could accommodate me. Chris kindly asked me to come in within 30 minutes. He was professional, helpful, and made the entire process smooth. The wait time was minimal, and the service exceeded my expectations.
I believe I’ve found my new go-to mechanic. Will be going back to get my brakes done.
best auto repair shop I’ve ever been to. I brought my car to a different mechanic and he had it for three weeks and got nothing repaired I then brought it to mid way and chris fixed it in a day will never go any where else they explained everything to me in detail about what was wrong and what they had to do
I brought my niece to buy a car from someone recommended by the owner of moriches midway because I had a great experience. My niece's car had a minor issue and even though it was not directly sold by this establishment they ordered and replaced the part for her.
To make a long story short, needed inspection and of course engine light goes on, after trying many fixes, need to replace EVAP purge valve. Heard Fat head on 96.1 talking about Midway Automotive and how honest they are ( which these days can be rare) . Then realized they are around the corner from way I live! Well he was right! They were honest, fair , reasonable and kind. They will now be my go to for my auto repairs. Thank you again Gentlemen.
Brought my jeep to them for a second opinion after being told I had a bad head gasket that would have cost me a lot of money. They were honest and told me it wasn’t my head gasket and replaced the part that was bad. Chris and Tony are honest mechanics that are hard to find now days! Thanks for getting me my jeep back!!!
I had a great experience with Midway Automotive at 551 Mastic Rd. in Mastic Beach. They did an excellent job with my brakes and tires, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The prices were very good and the staff was both friendly and honest, which is hard to come by these days. It’s clear they care about their customers and stand by their work. Brought my car in for an AC recharge. It was such a blessing to be able to drive home with cold AC - the last few weeks have been ROUGH. Thank you guys for being so quick, efficient and friendly!! I will definitely be a returning customer.
Been having issues with my Dodge for the last few months. I drop it off, they call me back less than an hour later to tell me I need a new starter and it would be ready by the end of the day. They even offered to pick me up if I didn't have a ride back to the shop. Would rate higher if google let me.
Chris is so accommodating! Tony rocks! Very honest, reliable and reasonable. Only used them a few times recently because I never knew about Chris. Boy have I been missing out! They’re quick and efficient and can help when you’re in a bind. Highly recommend Midway Automotive!
I went there to have a tire replaced tire was off car already it was 730am but they open at 7 guys where drinking coffee and guy says can you leave it come back in 4hrs I said got blow out he said ok git tire on and noticed the rim was damaged from blow out but didn't tell me I had to take it to another shop to have rim fixed so it wouldn't damage tire. DONT GO THERE YOU WILL REGRET IT

I am so grateful for the quick service and repair. The price was such a relief. This was a super stressful situation for me, and they helped alleviate that stress . NOT related to the used car dealer just 30 feet to the right. Very rude if you call and ask them about anything to do with Moriches Midway MOTORS, even though they have almost the same name and are just next door. I would hate to think how they treat customers!
Great service and techs. They have taken care of my girlfriends car many times and always a fair price. We take a drive all the way from Ronkonkoma to come here, it's great to have a mechanic that you can trust!

What a good feeling to know. I finally found a mechanic that I can trust. I brought my car into Moriches Midway Auto Repair for brakes and oil change. I knew I needed brakes. They were squeaking and making a lot of noise. The owner Tim told me that he would look the car over and give me a call and tell me exactly what was wrong with it and when I could pick it up. The work was done on time for a fair price. I'm very happy with the work they did and I highly recommend them and will be using them for all my automobile service in the future.
Great place. Very friendly staff, but most importantly they're honest and let you know what you really need done and what can wait. Great prices, overall very good. They service all my cars and I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Went there a couples months ago to fix my car, and came out with more issues. They broke my clockspring, and told me it was broken prior and i had to buy the part myself because they was not going to spend their money in my car, after i spent all my money in their shop. They dont pay attention to how they give the car back , almost had two accidents back to back due to lack of sincerity. I understand everyone need to make money but wrong is wrong... right is right. Just becareful when you get your car back, always check what they work on because it could cost you your life or more money, but im sure they will say that it happen prior to their shop too.

The owner Timmy is the most amazing, honest, and trustworthy shop owner/mechanic an incredibly rare thing to find these days. He's been our family mechanic for over 18 years and we've never once have been disappointed or ever felt like we were hustled by him. Give him a shot you will not be disappointed and gain some well deserved peace of mind.

Tim and his crew have been working on my cars for years. His work is excellent and his prices are very reasonable. There have been incidences where he could've charged me for the smallest service and when I offered to pay he said no just buy me coffee..great people I would highly recommend them to anyone.
