Had to get a tow. Driver said he couldn't bring my car to the collision shop I wanted. So instead he brought to their lot in Hornell (a friday night) and had it sit over the weekend and charged me for it. VERY dishonest. When I called to talk to the manager he basically wouldn't listen to me and believed his worker and he said I lied?!? Such a scam! The next time I need a tow I will go out of my way to NOT use Fleetpride. I'll tell anyone this story and try to convince them to use anybody else.

FleetPride was assigned a tow for us by TrailGuard. We couldn't be happier with the service we received. Our tow operator was very careful with our car and got us to the shop quickly and efficiently. He even arrived before the time estimate.

I needed a CB mic. Called was told they don't give a veterans discount but if I drove there they would give me a deal scent they didn't offer a veterans discount got there and then was told they don't give discounts made a wasted trip for over a hr drive for nothing.. I would not recommend this place. very disappoint.

George Campbell did a phenomenal job executing his game plan to recover my truck from a cliffside. I’m truly grateful for his skill, professionalism, and the confidence he showed in getting the job done. Before Fleetpride arrived, I had contacted two other tow truck companies-both of which refused to take on the challenge. FleetPride not only stepped up but delivered when I needed it most. With my operation of commercial vehicles it is inevitable to need assistance occasionally. I had a truck shut down on route 6/13 620pm; arrangements were made for towing combo unit to be repaired. Tow unit in Bath, NY and down unit in Newfield, NY. Very quickly Pete arrived, his professionalism, knowledge and organizational skills made short work of hooking and moving unit to repair shop by 10pm. Pete has character with ability to laugh thus destroying anxiety of the stressful situation being along a major roadway. I hope Fleetpride is recognizing Pete for being stellar at customer service. It ABSOLUTELY was a pleasure to meet Pete.

Had the terrifying experience of my alternator dying on the highway, and pulled into the Pilot right off the exit. Jamus, our tow truck driver, was very kind and let us hide in his cab from the rain. Corey and Paul were able to get the part and get us back on the road in a few hours, and were super pleasant and helpful. The cost was way less than I was expecting too. I can’t thank these gentleman enough for making a stressful situation a lot easier!

I broke down on Route 86 in NY state near Bath, NY. Through AAA we ordered a tow. Fleet Pride was dispatched. Their service, friendliness and helpfulness was unsurpassed!!! Michael our driver not only took us to the nearest Ford Dealership (which was closed on Sunday) but then took us to the Fleet Pride office to wait for a ride so we did not have to wait outside in the 18 degree weather. The following week I returned to pick up my vehicle, which was supposed to be repaired. Well, broke down again only 20 minutes away. Again, Fleet Pride was dispatched through AAA and Michael was again at the wheel to the rescue. He remembered me from the previous week and offered lighthearted, sympathetic conversation, which was much needed at that moment. When it was evident that the dealership in Bath, NY was not going to go the extra mile to fix my car, I scheduled a long haul tow through AAA with Fleet Pride to get my car back to Maryland. While it was not cheap (no long haul tow is) their service was fantastic. They left super early on the delivery day to get my car to my local dealer ahead of an incoming snow storm, and it was delivered to the correct person at my dealership per my instructions. During stressful situations like this, Fleet Pride did not add any stress to the situations, in fact they alleviated stress! PERFECT!!!! If you happen to need a tow in the Central/SW NY state area - get Fleet Pride!!!! Thanks for wonderful service!

I was hit by a wall of 4 ft snow. The weather went from clear to dangerous in just under a second 2 jeeps were buried almost completely before we even left 4 hours later. The police got to us and left us there and told fleet pride to turn around that we were "ok" fleetpride kept going until they got us safe if they did not we would have died. I owe my life and my step daughter and boyfriends lives to fleetpride. Tysm amber and savannah from dispatch for staying on the phone when 911 couldn't be bothered and thank you to Ray and his team for not leaving until we were safe and then going back this morning for the jeeps. I owe you all so much. Thank you for what you do.

My daughter got in an accident and Fleet came to tow it. They towed it 2 miles to their lot. I went there to pay for towing and pick up the car and they charged me $1200 for a 2 mile tow. Absolutely ridiculous! If I wasn’t in such shock I would’ve told them to just keep it. The wrecked car wasn’t even worth that much.

We have a class C RV with a Ford 450 engine. Driving down from Canada we blew a spark plug. Cory was so friendly and helpful. He and the mechanic Trapper were very thorough and kept us informed at every step. They ordered a new part, road tested it and had us on the road within 3 hours. We highly recommend this business!

Called my insurance to get a jump start....found out the battery was shot,,,they had batteries in there van bit wouldn't sell me one because I wasn't a triple a member! So ended up having to call my insurance Co. Back and getting a tow to auto zone where I purchased and installed a new battery....I couldn't believe that they would not sell me a battery because I wasn't a triple a member! I will make it a point to make sure if I ever have to get road side assistance that I do not want them....would give no stars if I could.

It is good friday. I had a brake hang up on a trailer while traveling home to Michigan from new york. They took me in and diagnose the problem in spite of their having a full schedule. Had parts and got me back on the road in less than 3 hours. These folks are the real deal and do a fine job. Two thumbs up to Jacob and "Muffin" forgetting me home on time for Easter. 👍👍👍🇺🇲

My Mazda CX-5 started having issues at a rest area on the interstate,,,,AAA towed me to FleetPride (Sunday after Thanksgiving) and dropped us at a nearby hotel....they diagnosed the issue the next day, got the new parts, and was able to get home on Tuesday. Prices seem reasonable, people were very helpful.

Car engine troubles so we had to pull over. We were towed within an hour of calling this service, had to stay in a nearby hotel, and the car issue was resolved within a few hours of work the next day. We were able to drive home. Friendly staff, tow was reasonably priced, and a good experience overall.

They answered the phone and did come tow me, the positives stop there. The 35-mile tow was $300. That's with a regular flat bed tow. The repair to my truck was $700 and it still didn't run right. Got home and replaced their after-market part with an OEM one, and the problem was fixed. After 2 hour diagnostic charge, they charged me 1 1/2 to replace the part. It took me 15 minutes. When I called they said I was out of luck because I fixed their fix and didn't take it to a repair shop.

I was charged almost $600 for a wench out that I didnt need the service when they showed up. I HAD someone towing me out and fleet told him that they HAD to hook up to my car! An hour and half later because well they got stuck too I woulf have already been out and on my way. But I was made to use their service and charged almost $600 when I no longer needed them! Would not recommend

Do not use this company especially in a time of need. DO NOT USE. 1. Get a price ahead of time & see it in black in white BEFORE they touch your vehicle or arrive. We picked up a brand new tow truck and noticed a flat tire. Called this company as we are three hours from home. They show up over an hour later, put a small amount of air in the tire to find the leak. 5 minutes maybe total. Would not patch or repair the tire. Then the guy wanted to sell a recap…no services were performed. He told us $481!! And that if we didn’t pay he would tow our truck. We called the sheriff’s department and the invoice was adjusted to $285….FOR AIR!!! And a non fixed tire, no repair. No help. This is an absolute sham and scam. Please don’t use them when you’re in need down and out. Call another company, save yourself money, time, and a whole lot of anger.

I am filled with gratitude for Matt, Phil, and Lois at FleetPride. On a sunny Friday afternoon, on my way to a weekend on the lake with friends, I hit a deer. I had no idea what to do and I feel so lucky that Google pointed me to their shop. From their compassion on the phone to their service in person, I was in such good hands. Even though their shop was closing in an hour, they carefully inspected my car. I thought for sure I'd be leaving my car and renting one to get home (400 miles away). But they found no leaks or damage under the hood. They tested my tires and the overall safety. In the end, they said they could SAFELY wire tie my bumber in place and strap my hood down and send me on my way!! Not only did I actually manage to enjoy my weekend on the lake, but I can report that I did successfully drive my car 400 miles home. I am so grateful.

I got my car stuck and called a different towing service who claimed they couldn't get my car out without totaling it. After calling T&R, they assessed the situation and had my car on the road in 10 minutes, damage free. I was very satisfied with the service and professionalism of this company. I will definitely be using them again for any towing needs and recommending them to friends and family.

Josh was absolutely amazing when we had a flat tire around midnight last night! My fiance and I were driving to Buffalo from NYC. We were about 100 miles from our destination when we realized we had a flat tire. The tire was completely slashed from something on the road. Thankfully, we have Roadside Assistance from State Farm and we were immediately able to put in a service request. Within 45 minutes, Josh pulled up and greeted us with a smile. He made a horrible situation better with his kindness and hard work. He switched out the flat with our full size spare and assured us we'd be able to make our destination safely. I asked if he could also check the rest of the tires just to be safe and Josh didn't hesitate! He immediately checked the rest of the tires and let us know we were good to go. Within 15 minutes, we were on our way! Josh was so nice and even pulled out the truck to give us time and room to get back on the expressway safely. Unfortunately I had the experience of having my vehicle Towed by T&R Towing Services. I had a flat tire. They were there with in 30 minutes from the time I called my insurance company. Great Job. The driver was absolutely awesome 💯. Thanks for caring about my vehicle and professional service. You guys are Super. Keep up the excellent hard work T&R Towing.

Our car broke down 200 miles from home on a Sunday. T&Rwas the company AAA sent to tow us. The driver was great; dropped us off at a hotel and told us they should be able to look at our car in the morning. The next day, we got attitude on the phone and were told there were several scheduled appointments ahead of us, so we walked the mile there to see if we could talk to a mechanic. They put it on the lift a while later and told us we'd need an entire new real axel, which would take days and cost thousands. We decided to go elsewhere. They charged us for the estimate. We drove it about a block to Saltzman's where they immediately repaired it enough for us to get back on the road for $100 including a generous tip.

We had a wonderful experience with this company . After being in bath New York for 10 days dealing with insurance issues they got us in and out in less then 24 hrs . Even after the parts place sent the wrong part they went and hour and a half just to get us the part we needed and get our rig finished .. all the drivers and mechanics were wonderful always smiling. Down to earth attitudes just an all around home town feel. The office clerk Mrs Louis was amazing . Definitely would use this company again if we are in the area

Had to get towed tonight from Route 15 North, near exit 196, after my Tractor Trailer, had some mechanical problems, ultimately causing a fire. T&R arrived promptly and were polite and professional. They did a great job, which was much appreciated.

We used their shop in Hornell, NY. Our transmisson went out in our Frieghtliner. We switched from a 10 to a 13 speed. Replaced the clutch..main bearings..rear seal..and they fixed some other leaks we had. They guys over there were awesome down to earth guys. Good mechanics. Billy over saw most of the repairs and kept us updated. Had some problems getting the drive shaft back with the machine shop..we had to get it balanced and cut down. Not their fault. But the guys stayed over after quitting time and got it done. We were down 10 days..not bad for a transmission and modified at that. We had some problems with the clutch break in FL afterwards. Called Billy he had a buddy right where we were at ...went by he put in a clutch break in under 30 min and we were up running...NO CHARGE. T & R prices were good and they made sure it was done right. In this business it's hard to find honest mechanics that do good work. Definitely will use again...but I hope i don't have to.

I should mention that I was in town for business and my 32' RV style company truck stopped working. In the last 3 months I had 4-5 different mechanic shops work on my truck to find out why it was experiencing issues starting. One put an alternator on, one changed the batteries, on replaced a solenoid, another some relays. Each fix lasted a week to 10 days before the problem returned. When I broke down in Elmira, NY again I made calls for hours trying to find a mobile service in the Elmira, NY area and each one I reached said no. T & R just asked a couple of questions and came right out. They quickly diagnosed that the alternator had failed and that there was another electrical issue due to the fact that no power was going from alternator to the batteries at all. So they towed it to their shop in painted post where they diagnosed within an hour the underlying problem that caused all the other issues we had experienced in the last several months. They got the part in quickly as well as another alternator as the new one had failed as well and installed it quickly. They are clearly highly experienced and professional mechanics. They also very kindly picked me up and dropped me off at the ramada inn up the road each of the two days I was stuck weighting for the repair to be completed. Now to be fair there is a couple of negatives. The shop manager as well as the women who is at the desk in the heavy truck department are never going to call you! If you want to know what is going on you will have to call them. Also, they will get you on the road again quickly but they are not going to give you an estimate under any circumstances. They will tell you the cost of the parts, tow, mobile services that have finite costs but labor they are not even going to discuss until it is done. Save yourself the trouble and frustration and just accept that you will not have the slightest clue what your bill will be until it's done. These negatives are outweighed easily by the fact that they will get it done quick and correctly so I give them 5 stars anyway. Overall a great experience and if I am every in this part of the state again when a breakdown occurs I will be calling them first.
