That Nothing Be Lost Thrift & Antique Shop in Garrison, NY, is a hidden gem with four floors of unique finds, from antiques to gently used clothing. The shop has a welcoming atmosphere, and all proceeds support St. Christopher's Inn, helping those in need. Its also an excellent place to pick up Christmas and decorations downstairs. All merchandise comes from tax-deductible donations, and revenue supports the care and shelter of men in residence at St. Christopher's Inn.
Such great finds. They have a ton of men’s clothes which is rare at thrift shops. Each floor had a clean bathroom for customer use. Definitely not to be missed.
I once left a glowing review of this thrift store, specifically mentioning Dorothy and to ask for her, and how wonderful she was. While I understand that she passed on months ago, I find it odd that my review has seemingly been removed. I think it would have been more appropriate for the person who manages google reviews to reply to my review and mention (so others reading may know) that she passed. So I'm putting this review back. This thrift store has been a treasure to me for many years. I'm 31 and have been perusing the selection here since I was about 10 years old. I remember it before it was organized, and you had to "hunt" for something which made it so much more fun when you did find something cool and great. Regardless, it's still one of my favorite places and has a lot of good memories, and a good selection still. May Dorothy rest in peace, she was loved & respected and a good family friend of ours. #Vanlife, wish I lived in area. Best thrift shop in all my states of thrifting. Orderly, 3 floors of items, clothes, housewares, etc. Items are priced to sell (women’s blouses $4, socks 50 cents, etc). The only downsize to this place is it’s too popular, items go quick. Stop by you won’t be disappointed. Bathrooms in each floor.
The cleanest thrift store I’ve ever been too, and I’ve probably been to hundreds at this point . The home now turned thrift is very well organized, there isn’t just stuff everywhere. 3 floors plus the basement . Highly recommended!
The best thrift shop with 4 floors. I have been visiting The Grey Moore thrift shop over 20 yrs. Friendly, all kinds of items, nick naks. Everything I visit I find more items.

This store has everything! Four floors of anything you could want for your home, records, clothes and accessories, holiday stuff, random knickknacks, etc, all very reasonably priced, and proceeds go to a good cause. I got a super cute straw hat there for a dollar or two! And I appreciated that they temperature checked all customers as we came in.
Goes to support St. Christopher's Inn... Got beautiful blown glass pumpkins for $10 each... Great deals!! And you get to pick a token on "gambling Thursdays"... 15% off my entire order, the lady before me got 75% off!
Largest thrift shop you've ever been to, 4 Levels of everything you can think of! Best of all, 100% of proceeds go directly to St. Christopher's Inn located across the street, where they house and help men overcome their addiction to drugs and alcohol. Although a 45 minute drive, all of my donated goods go to That Nothing Be Lost Thrift Shop.
One of the main reasons you should go to this thrift shop is because, the proceeds of every sale goes to help men who want to recover from alcohol addiction.
All I can say is that the Inventory is always moving, and you never know what will be in next week. One time they had a $5,000 stove (Brand New) for $1,000. And it sold within days...There are always treasures to find here, so you will have to look.
This place is great for housewares, and if you are starting your first apartment this is the place to go.
Also in the top floor you can find gently worn or new men's suits or ladies dresses. Also here is sporting goods, and that varies with the seasons.
This is well worth the trip, as the staff is friendly and helpful. Dorothy is the manager, and she is always very nice to deal with.
They also have a dedicated Christmas shop in the basement, here too, you can find some interesting items such as Spode Christmas plates.
There is a parking lot, but the building is not handicapped accessible.
They do take Debit and credit cards here.

Great thrift shop, they don't upcharge for name brands like the chain thrift shops do. The money they make actually goes towards bettering people's lives. Plus you get to visit Dorothy whenever you're there. This is a much better option to spread good will if you ask me.
