Got a car battery changed here. The service was amazing! The salesman was patient and knowledgeable, and the guy who switched the battery (I think his name was Josh) did such a careful job with such attention to the extra details.

Last visit staff was helpful and tried thier best but didn't appear to have a manager or senior rep anywhere to be found. The staff that have been there the longest seem knowledgeable but to get them to help you more than pointing in a direction when u need further assistance its not worth the frustration. Go to another location where the staff will walk u to the item location and help identify what u need. I also hate when I've waited my turn and all I need is another moment to conclude my business then another guest will jump in for "something g quick" which delays me every time. It's never quick. Additionally adds up after the 2nd, 3rd, 4th inconsiderate guest doesn't wanna wait thier turn. The staff should take the minute they need to get me out the door before entertaining a myriad of drifters that probably aren't buying anything anyhow.

We are constantly working on our trucks, 7 of them. Every time we need a part,they either have it or get it, even odd stuff. Always super helpful, super courteous. I don't really care about mechanical ability, we take care of that, but with eagerness to get us what we need, everyone at haverstraw location truly tries. For what they get paid, they go above and beyond. Thank you.

I went to AutoZone today to have my battery checked after my car failed to start and I needed a jump. Fritz at AutoZone was so helpful and professional. He not only checked my battery and discovered it was bad (it was 5 years old!) he installed one for me at no extra charge. I would highly recommend AutoZone to anyone with auto needs and I will definitely do business with them in the future.
Asked for a non ammonia window cleaner for window tinting. Instead of showing me what i was asking for automatically tried to upsell me a window tint kit. 1 star next time listen to what the customer is asking for . Not good customer service will not recommend left store without buying anything ended up going to target

#2973 Auto Zone in West Haverstraw is awesome! They helped me with my headlights that both went out, immediately, and replaced my corroded battery that was still under warranty. So helpful, kind, and on the mark about what I needed. Thank you, Tony!!
Worst customer service. Not sure how this location is even open. Didn’t greet me, and when I told them what I was looking for, they told me what aisle and I asked them to show me and they ignored me and then finally when I asked again if they could show me, they huffed and puffed and couldn’t help me. I left and they still said nothing.
Went for a battery change with 2 different cars. Both times we were helped by Alex. He does an amazing job every time and is super knowledgeable. We can’t be more thankful for his work!
No professionalism at all from the sales associates they’ll literally laugh at your face for a problem your car has.
You guys have to get better training for further issues like this. This is my go to store but this time you guys went downhill
Took about half hour to pay for a bulb I picked out. Manager behind the counter was cursing serval times and was all wound up trying to help another employee. There was only 3 customers in the store and 3 employees behind the counter. Worst store ever , would never go there again. Corperate should take note and correct these issues.
This is my go to auto parts store. It is in the parking lot between the urgent care and Wendy's. Everyone here is always very helpful and go out of their way to make sure I get the right parts and tools. Also the rewards program will allow you to get 20$ off after a certain amount of qualified purchases. 10/10
Tony was so helpful. He went out of his way and above and beyond to help me. I appreciate his efforts and would refer anyone to that location because of his work ethic and professional demeanor which is very hard to find these days. My only gripe is that their jump start machine was not charged.
There this guy(white) at the front of the register who is very rude. I came in at 9 to get a spray paint for my car and I didn’t know the model of the car and I brought paper fill with private information and he snap it out of my hands and try to take a picture without asking me..I find that very rude and I would not recommend this place. I left without finding what I was looking for. Unbelievable.
First I’d like to say I’m a person with a disability. So when it comes to customer service that’s high on my priority list. I’ve been a diehard loyal customer of Auto Zone. In 3 of the 5 boroughs of the city. Also several of the surrounding counties for close to two decades. Personally a regular at the Haverstraw 9W location for over 5yrs now. in which I find my self only wanting to do business there when a gentlemen by the name of Chris is working. The reason is being is he very knowledgeable and quite resourceful when it comes down to the auto zone products. Helping customers with the process to find resolution for a small problem with your vehicle if in need. Chris is very professional & courteous a great reflection of what Auto Zone image needs to be. Eager to help assist you with the products you purchased to your vehicle. In my opinion if Chris was there every day this location would be worthy of five stars. Unfortunately this location loses stars because of the lack of quality leader ship. The manager Jenny has been quite obnoxious and very condescending in her delivery to customers. This is very unprofessional in my opinion and almost forcing you to go the competition. This was a five star location before Jenny got here. The prior manager I believe name was Joey was much better reflection of what Auto Zone that I’m use too.
The employees are very helpful. Jenny the manager help me with a major problem I had and she solve my problem with her supervisor Annie. I am very thankful for the help I received. I will always get my parts from them. ???
My man Chris at auto zone in West Haverstraw saved me hundreds by taking his time and going over my check engine light and catalytic code. I could not pass inspection n mechanics were salavating at charging me hundreds for a new converter.Chris showed me the $27 iliquid I needed and how to proceed. Passes with zero codes!!!! Fantastic customer service.
A huge shout out to Chris from West Haverstraw Autozone... i was having check engine light issues on my 06 Honda Pilot. When the mechanic said i need to change catalytic converter. I went to Autozone to see if they could scan it for me to make sure it truly is cat converter problem,...along comes Chris..he mentioned dont change it yet, it might just need a cleaning. Offered me to buy Cataclean to clean emission components. I did as he mentioned instructions. Not only has the engine light turned off, my cars performance is now golden. Thank you brother. Excellent service. The store employee Ron offered and put on my windshield wipers and did a great job - free of charge. Even though one of my old wipers was stuck, he was able to accomplish putting on the new wipers. Thanks!
I spent money that I had that if I was told earlier I didn't need what I bought could be saved for something else. Please be more helpful not everyone is auto savvy. I understand there can be issues with liability but they to help the customer make helpful purchases.
They posted to offer free battery charging and testing but when I asked for the same they refused to do because of machine fault but staff are friendly but products are average in collection
When I came in I was greeted enthusiastically by Joey he was very friendly and really tried to help guide me towards the cleaning products I asked for. He seemed very genuine. He educated me on their policies there for huge parts like rotors. I had no idea I could buy them there and return/replace them at no cost down the line. The store was neat and clean and well lit. It felt like an upscaled auto parts store compared to other places I've been. Would def. Return!
