Torrent came recommended to me when i was looking for some work done on my Porsche 911. When i went there they sold me me a bunch of performance upgrades for my almost new Porsche. A month later i went to the Dealer for warranty work to be done, He said my warranty Was voided Because of the work that was done by torrent, which was never told to me this would be the case. so now I have a piece of metal for my driveway that is worthless and nothing i can do about it. When i called torrent to see what i could do and the guy was rude, nasty and had the nerve to leven laugh and say well your problem now dude, i already got paid.. Arrogent and unprofessional to say the least. Will NEVER recommend this business! If i could give 0 stars i would.
Looking for more HP and better quality ride with my base Cayman. Tico and company made it happen. Big Fun and a great experience. Worth the 3 hour drive for sure!
I can't say enough positive things about Tico and his team at Torrent. Its amazing when someone working on your car has as much excitement about the car as you do (even when they have far more exotic models :-).
Their work is high quality, at reasonable prices with a team you can trust to help you make the right decisions.
We will only have our Porsches serviced here going fwd, they did an amazing exhaust and tune on our 911, next up is a Cayenne exhaust!
I collected a car I purchased via Torrent Motorworks as they performed an oil service on it as part of my separate agreement with P1 Exotics. They were excellent! They made the whole experience easy by offering to pick me up from the local Hertz location where I dumped my rental. Brought me back to their detail shop where they had my car freshly washed (as it had become dusty sitting on their lot). After a pleasant visit and tour of their shop, I was on my way home to Boston with my freshly serviced new toy. Thank you Tico and crew!!
Excellent service and super trustworthy towing. Brand new trucks and clean equipment. They towed my vehicle but it was good knowing my car was handled with care and expertise
Smart people. They know what they're doing. They found a rear brake disk problem the dealer missed that saved me a breakdown or worse because they heard a clicking when they drove my car into the shop.
Tico and his team always go the extra mile to make sure that I’m satisfied. I am a discerning customer and regardless of my request, Torrent is always able to meet my expectations. John makes me feel very comfortable that my vehicle is in great hands when I leave it. Anyone with any level of vehicle would be very pleased dealing with Torrent Motorworks.
I had heard good things about this shop from a couple of other Porsche 997 owners who took their cars there for work, so decided to try Torrent out myself when I had an emissions related CEL code pop up. Tico and his team there were great to work with. Tim was very friendly and helpful, and John who did the work on my car was very competent and thorough, and quickly diagnosed the emissions code problem, replaced the part needed and resolved the trouble code. He also performed other normal maintenance on the car that I had asked for and never tried to upsell me on anything (something dealerships usually do).
What I also found refreshing is that I was able to speak directly with the tech who was working on my car (John) while he was working on it instead of only being able to speak through a service advisor (at a dealership) who may not really know what is going on with your car. I am not an easy person to please cause I’m meticulous with my car, so I really appreciate their patience with me. I would definitely take my 911 back to them for future work and recommend them to anyone looking for fair, honest, and competent work on their car. Great group of guys there! - Rich in NJ
A pleasure working with Tico and his team. After removing my car from another shop because of poor diagnostic skills, Tico was able to pinpoint the problem in the transmission and install a factory unit.

Tico and his team are tops in the area for exotic car maintenance, including upgrades. They inspected my new car, got me a new set of tires, and set me up for additional improvements, as well.

I took my 2015 991 turbo s for major service, replaced both PADM motor mounts , and Giac stage 1 tune. The shop is well kept and also the personnel is top notch. Not only are they Porsche enthusiasts but also honest and straightforward certified mechanics. I look forward to continue my business with them.
The Torrent team is absolutely top-notch. Tico’s been been working on my 2018 911 GT3 since the day I bought it, installing BBS magnesium wheels, Akrapovic titanium race exhaust, Numeric shifter and cables, etc. He’s always done meticulous work, clearly loves cars, and is consistently an honest and friendly partner.
Recently, I brought my car to him after being frustrated by multiple Porsche dealers who were either unwilling or unable to take care of an issue that should have been covered by warranty. Tico and his team took care of the problem within three days, even though it was an unusual job for them! In comparison, more than one dealer has sat on my car for multiple weeks without making any progress.
Needless to say, I’m a big fan of Torrent Motorwerks!
This is the kind of place you can bring you car to and not worry about anything. The shop is CLEAN. Both the inside and out. You can tell a lot about a shop just by looking inside. I'm extremely picky with alignments, and was specific with what i was looking for. The gentleman that worked on my car took the time to give me exactly what I was looking for- and I couldn't be happier. The car drives straight as an arrow.
Torrent is the only place I will ever bring my Porsche 911. I have brought my car here since the day I got it. I have done numerous services here from oil changes to a full exhaust install. The service has been top notch and extremely professional. I can’t say enough about the staff at Torrent they always go out of their way to make you feel like family. I highly recommend Torrent for any service on your car.
I can't say enough good things about Tico owner of Torrent Motorworks along with Master Mechanics Duke and Erkan. Pure and simple these guys are fantastic!!! I love my 2011 Porsche Panamera. These guys installed a new engine and the car runs like new!!! It's perfect, to top it off they detailed the car. Outstanding!!! Tico and Duke explained what was needed and made recommendations along the way, they always kept me in the loop. They are honest hardworking guys that conduct themselves in a professional manner. Their shop is immaculate!!!! Every single function in my vehicle was set perfectly from phone to Radio to tire pressure unbelievable service!!! I'm not one to give accolades without merit and if I'm poring it on thick it's because it's deserving. Again my thanks, God Bless you guys, you will be serving my car for LIFE!!!

Tico and Duke are awesome. I got recommended to this shop from another Porsche owner and I’m happy I went here. Tico was very cool, talked with me about the options with my car and was overall friendly, genuinely interested to hearing my problems, and solving everything. Got to speak with Duke and Tico at length and the guys are dope. Would not hesitate to recommend this shop, especially if you are a Porsche owner. I came all the way from Brooklyn, but I will def come back (already got my eye on some new stuff for them to do). Worth the trek 100%
I entrusted Torrent Motorworks in Nyack NY to service my Porsche 911. It was a major service which always needs to be performed professionally.
I was not disappointed.
My car is working perfectly.
No short cuts, no up sales, no salesman BS, no outrageous pricing; just an honest company to deal with coupled with a friendly, knowledgeable and professional team.
