I just had my BMW coolant leak repaired at IMW and it was a very positive experience. The service manager Pete explained the options clearly, gave me estimates over the phone, and was able get my car into the shop for the repair in a timely manner. The work was completed quicker than I anticipated and it came in just under the quoted price. They have a nice, clean shop and I felt my car was in good hands from start to finish. I will use them again when my BMW needs work. I highly recommend them.
Anthony,owner,very knowledgeable n helpful. My 2016 fiat was misfiring y need 2 replace engine valves,a/c line, water pump,etc. Tried hard to get Midwest insurance co to honor the wtty. That used car warranty from Bay Shore dealer is a joke but Anthony did commendable reliable work. Has a top reputation for deep engine repairs. I highly recommend his shop.

After almost a decade with International Moter Works and Anthony and his team i can honestly say i feel very fortunate. Honest, with razor sharp diagnostic skills and excellent craftsmanship Anthony has kept 6 cars afloat and humming . Trustworthy , kind and at times funny i have had an extraordinary customer experience.

Great service and price. Brought my 2019 Volvo S60 in for a 60k service. I also needed rear brakes and a new auxiliary battery. They took care of everything at a price that wasn’t much more than the dealership charged for just the 60k service. Pete and his team did a solid job.

Regarding the work done on my vehicle, I have had the brakes and rotors replaced, a new transmission installed, filters and spark plugs replaced, and a recent inspection completed.

I had an extremely unsatisfactory experience with International Work Inc., a mechanic I engaged for my car's tune-up and cleaning service. I am compelled to leave a highly negative review based on the following incidents. Initially, I was quoted a price of $1000 for the service, but to my dismay, I ended up paying a staggering $1700. What's worse, the promised detailing was never carried out, and despite specifically requesting a spark plug replacement, they merely claimed to have replaced the liquid in my vehicle. However, upon inspecting my car, I realized that their work was far from satisfactory, prompting me to seek the opinion of another mechanic.
It is crucial to note that my car had been inactive for a prolonged period of five years, and I had explicitly requested a comprehensive tune-up to ensure that all necessary work was completed. I decided to entrust International Work Inc. with the task based on a recommendation from an individual who transported my car using a trailer. Additionally, their seemingly impeccable reputation, boasting a flawless five-star rating on various online platforms, further convinced me that they were an ideal choice for the job. Regrettably, this turned out to be a grave error on my part.
To exacerbate matters, International Work Inc. failed to provide any information regarding the brands of the parts they used, both in person and on the invoice. This lack of transparency was deeply concerning. Moreover, they deceitfully charged an exorbitant amount of $700 for a purported seven hours of labor, a fee that I found to be utterly unjustifiable. It is evident that International Work Inc. lacks the professionalism and integrity one would expect from a reputable mechanic. As a result, I strongly advise against engaging their services. They have proven to be nothing short of a scam, providing subpar work and engaging in dishonest practices.
They tell u one price in the beginning and when job is done (actually partially done) it’s double in price. So I definitely don’t recommend this place. Also be aware if they offer you to clean your car after repairs, it’s $100.
I take all of my cars to Anthony, especially my old ones from the late 80's. Him and his guys are straight forward and do great work. I feel comfortable bringing my cars to them knowing they'll be taken care of.
The service from all the experts here is wonderful. The place is easy to get to and there's plenty of room for parking. Your car will be fixed properly and will stay this way if you take it here! Listen to their expert opinion to keep your car running right!
I've been taking my cars to Anthony's shop for years, and I have referred folks here. He has always been fair and honest and the charges have been reasonable to good value. He usually diagnoses quickly and for no charge which I really appreciate.
Anthony is one of a dying breed in Rockland. If you want honesty & quality work, this is the place for you! Never ever, have I been dissatisfied with the quality craftsmanship of repairs here & he never recommends fixing things unnecessarily! I recommend Anthony & his team to all of my friends (3 of which have now become regular customers) I highly recommend International Motor Works
