Shoutout to Chris!!! After going to different apple stores I was told by many they couldn’t help me fix my phone and that nothing was wrong. Chris was the very first person to offer me a solution!! He was kind to not just me but the people with me. I’m so glad he was my technician and I’m so glad he didn’t just turn me away. I will be back and will be looking for Chris going forward!

I really waits my day here. Tryed to fix my iPod pro, and get iphone 17 pro with trade in. Nothing worked out. They just took my money for new iphone 17 pro and thats it.

I went there with my family. We bought a phone a couple of months ago, and it was locked with an iCloud white screen lock. I went there to solve the issue, and they told me to bring the receipt! We won't do this until we see the receipt

I purchased an iPhone as a New Year gift and came to pick it up in person. Nowhere during the purchase process did it say that a physical driver’s license would be required. I brought my student ID and a clear photo of my driver’s license, which should reasonably verify identity.
Despite this, the staff—specifically an employee named Karl—refused to release the phone and showed zero willingness to help or offer a solution. The attitude was rude and dismissive, and the situation was handled very unprofessionally.
If strict ID requirements exist, they should be clearly stated before purchase, not sprung on customers at pickup. This was a complete waste of time and a frustrating experience. I would not recommend this location.Dec 31, 2025 -
Came here to find a Apple IPad Air for my son for Christmas. In the Staten Island Mall. A employee helped me out (forgot the name) and helped me find the right one! This is a great Apple Store! Located in a great place!

I brought in my laptop to have the screen replaced after the part had arrived. A few days later, I get a voicemail that the Find My feature needs to be turned off so they can work on it. I was annoyed that the tech didn't check that when taking in my laptop. I turned if off and wanted to get in touch with the store to let them know it's off in case they needed to know in order to start service on my laptop. The tech didn't leave a callback number but I called the number on my caller ID. But it leads to an automated bot that transfers you to their Support call center at who-knows-where. The call center people just gives you the number that's on Google Maps and aren't able to help any further with getting in touch with someone from the actual store. I asked the automated bot for the store's direct number to transfer me to the store manager and Genius Bar manager but no one picks up the phone. This is a Sunday so I'll try again on a weekday but this whole process has been annoying. I really don't want to waste my time to go to the Mall just to tell them something that could have been done over the phone.
After I dropped off my laptop, I went to buy a new Macbook Air. I was directed to a floor representative who took me to the table where all the Macbooks were and said a sales rep would be with me. I already knew what I wanted but I had to wait for a specific rep who's allowed to handle sales. The whole buying experience just felt so inefficient because I was there to get in and get out. This is why some people just prefer to buy online and bypass all the BS that you get in the store.Nov 30, 2025 -
I am writing this review to provide heartfelt and positive feedback on two employees that work at Store #R152 in Staten Island, NY. I visited the store with an issue related to trade-in. Abiha Haider and Carl Power were the associates that I worked with.
I wanted to take the time to write this review as a form of gratitude. They were absolutely wonderful to work with! They were kind, patient, and understanding and took the time to work with me and provide a resolution. They not only made my day, but my holiday season! Throughout the whole process they assured me that they would find a way to help and had such a warm and positive attitude that put me at ease!
Normally, I try to perform transactions online, but after this interaction I will be performing any future transaction in store and specifically with these two associates! They are a tremendous asset to this company and I truly hope that some time is taken to acknowledge the hard working and wonderful people that they are!

Worst experience ever in an apple store. Can management check on their employees at this location and see if they know what service means? First, Erickson the asian guy with glasses mentioned that I needed to set up just one appointment for my wife and I to get our earpods checked. Sure, waited an hour to be told by Mike the white bald technician guy that I can only get one device checked per appointment. I mentioned that his associate told us we would both get served but Mike was pretty rude about it, no apologies and just said welp I am not gonna help both of you just one of you and had a deal with it attitude. So they wanted me to wait another hour for my wife lol even when their staff gave us the wrong instruction.
After at least getting one of my earpods checked, Mike he told me I had to come back in a week at the same location to pick up a new order. I asked if it could be shipped or picked up at a new location, he was pretty apathetic, didn’t offer any other alternatives, instead had a whatever not my problem attitude.
Could someone not have been like hey we can get your earpods checked but we don’t have any in stock and you will need to come back in a week regardless and the wait time is an hour at least. I could have not waited an hour for nothing you know. Mentioned this to Erickson and he was like well have a great day. The fake niceness instead of trying to provide alternatives or ways to help us. Definitely never coming back to this store. Mike specially needs some training on how to talk to customers, if you don’t like a customer facing role maybe you shouldn’t work in one you know.Nov 09, 2025 -
I had such a great experience at the Apple Store in the American Dream Mall! A huge thank you to Alex and Eros for their incredible patience and professionalism. I came in to purchase and set up a new iPhone, and as someone switching over from Android, I had a lot to learn. Both Alex and Eros took the time to walk me through everything, answering all my questions with kindness and enthusiasm.

Horrible customer service this is the second time I have gone to this store and the service is horrible, why doesn't a high end product come with better service. After spending hundreds of dollars on a phone ther is nothing like having a kid with a mullet tell you to go away. Horrible.

Very disappointed with the service at this Apple Store. The staff was unfriendly and clearly just wanted to leave since it was close to closing time. I tried to buy a Mac with a student discount and provided proof, but was told high school students don’t qualify and was told to “just buy it online.” But the online store doesn’t require that proof at all. Same company, different rules? In the end, I had to order it online and wait until the next day to pick it up. Poor service like this really ruins the Apple experience.

I want to thank the associate and manager that wouldn't allow my friends Grandma to buy a $600 apple gift card. She had received a check in the mail from her "friend" to buy it. It's a check to gift card scam where the scammer sends a fake check and asks the recipient to buy a gift card and to send the gift card details to them. Thankfully the store didn't let her buy the gift card or she'd be out of $600. We had no idea what was going on until we happened to see her in the store while we were at the mall. Please monitor your elderly family members interactions on the internet. People will try to take their money.

I was very disappointed by both my visit to this store and lack of customer support by Apple. My sales person was completely helpless and his supervisor was not only helpless but with a terrible attitude of of a member of Royale who was disturbed .

I have apple care++ on my iPhone 16 pro max and on my MacBook Air m4 and on my AirPods even though I barely I use it because I take care of my things, but when I really needed it, it came to no use at all. It was not useful. I feel like I wasted my money on something that doesn’t work Like a façadeon Just a decoy that tells you pay me for what am I paying? Basically nothing ,I came in the Apple store at State Mall to fix my AirPods because they have a robotic sound when I talk to people. The man kept looking at it and opened it closed it then He said he was gonna run a diagnostic test in the back. He took it to the back and he came out then he went back to the back then he came out then he gave me the same exact AirPods and he told me that he switched the side that doesn’t work I thought Since it’s a defective part, obviously they would change it for me. I’m paying my AppleCare. I’m paying for AppleCare. I think I paid the price of this AirPod four times over if not more Then I tell him OK he sure it’s good now one side was bad. The other side was no good so I replaced the other side trying to act like he’s so professional like he knows what he’s doing obviously, you don’t know anything buddy you’re just trying to save the products like it’s coming out of your own pocket. Not realizing that I pay AppleCare and I have so many Apple products and I run my small business on Apple productsthen I’m like OK thank you that was a cheap move by the way, but I was like OK. I go home the first phone call I make the robotic sound is still there basically nothing was done. This is the outcome. I wasted my time at Apple Store number two. I went there and got no solution number three. I’m paying AppleCare for nothing so I’m wasting my money and there’s number four and number five and I can keep going Apple. You did so bad I’m really upset. I wanna tell everybody not to get AppleCare because it’s nothing but a scam Thank you Apple From Your loyal Customer.

If you are assigned to Mike L. (a lead technician as per him at the Staten Island Apple Store with very long curly hair) for technical assistance, I strongly recommend requesting—run from this deceptive, unprofessional, and rude person. While on all previous visits, my interactions with other staff members were usually pleasant, my experience with Mike L. was frustrating, disappointing, and even misleading. His attitude and approach made the situation far more difficult than necessary and stood in big contrast to the otherwise good service I have come to expect from this store.
This experience has made me seriously reconsider returning to this store, and I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with a manager regarding this matter.Mar 14, 2025 -
I recently visited this store, and I have to say, my experience was extremely disappointing. The employees were completely unhelpful and lacked basic product knowledge. I asked about a price match and they seemed unsure of even the most basic details. Two employees told me the wrong handling process. It felt like they had no idea what they were doing.

My mom and I spent 6 hours in the store trying to separate apple IDs and create a new one; simply because the process takes awhile. Everyone who helped us was so kind and patient and we cannot thank them enough. So grateful! Definitely recommend. Thank you everyone!!

I’ve been to many Apple stores, and this one is by far the worst! I’ve been to this Staten Island location many times and it’s always way too warm in there. I even overhear employees and costumers complaining about the room temperature. Even with a shirt on. Due to the heat I can’t focus on the products at the store. I end up just leaving. They need to regulate the room temperature otherwise costumers will leave early from this issue. Btw this issue remains even with the doors staying wide open.

Is there still such a service now? If you want to buy a mobile phone case, you have to queue for 20 minutes? Are all the employees standing inside useless people? so many people? Even if I pay, I have to wait 20 minutes. Now Apple doesn’t even manage this. Why hire so many people? Disappointed!

Terribly slow. Lots of people standing and chatting with each other. They are all assigned to sign up people who walk into the store but have no flexibility to actually do the work and get people checked out in time. This is terrible management of staff and workflow.

I bought the student package program, that offers a free airpod and a discount when a mac pro is bought. I originally bought this on Atlantic Avenue Apple Store, but then I decided to change the mac 8 GB memory to the 16 GB, when I went to the apple store to exchange, I was told that I needed to make an appointment, I called apple customer service and they sent me all the way to Staten Island, when I got there I was told that what they told me at the Atlantic Avenue Apple Store was not true, that all I needed is to walk in and ask to return a product or exchange. At apple Staten Island they were so attentive and nice, I went there on september 27, the last day to take advantage on the offer, so they did everything possible to get me a refund on a gift card and order a new custom made mac pro, and still applied the offer. I am so grateful to them, the are the best!

The store was pretty busy but still they were trying their best to help every customer. I loved the customer service provided. Came back with an Ipad pro, keyboard and the Apple pencil for my uncle.

The store, following in Apple tradition, is relatively nicely designed. They don't always tend to keep items in stock, being a fairly small Apple store in Staten Island, but overall have the Apple products you're looking for. The employees are friendly and offer help with whatever problems you come with.
