I had my car towed here after a car accident and paid thousands of dollars for them to fix my AC along with other repairs. I didn't use my car much for a few months after, as I was slightly traumatized from the accident and was therefore nervous to drive in the city. After moving away, I noticed ongoing issues with my AC and my car overheating. When I took it to another repair shop, they found water in the engine instead of coolant, along with other problems this shop had overlooked. Scummy people. Avoid this place!
my wife was involved in a hit and run over the summer, police called a tow because it was badly damage, got my truck a few months later and did a really bad job. Paint job was terrible, I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here at all.
Mike saw me stranded with my car that got hit and towed it back to Styland Auto. He could not have been nicer or more helpful. Evie took all my information and made dealing with insurance fast and efficient. Mike then drove me to Enterprise where I got my rental car.

The worst of the worst. Any good reviews are guaranteed to be friends and family or alt accounts of the owner. This is obviously some mob scam tied into the NYPD. They’ll hold your car hostage then demand outrageous amounts of money for removing the bumper and storage that you never asked for in the first place. Then miscalculate the total to charge an extra $300. What that means is that I added up all of the charges I was being billed for, and the total amount at the bottom was $300 over that. They really think their customers are that stupid.
This is the place that the towed truck brought my car in. It was really bad on the left and me not knowing much about cars I let the tow truck take it to their shop with hopes that it would be fixed properly. The good part was it looked good when I got it back but later down the line driving it something wasn’t right. O did my research wondering why my car was vibrating, google said it’s the motor mounts, my uncle that works for infiniti said it definitely was the motor mounts. Later I needed to get auto body work done on the right so my guy called me and immediately told me that when he started the car he was concerned so he checked for me and said the left motor Mount is broke the bumper was glued, something was bent and my wheel wasn’t aligned. Now I have to go through the process of reopening a claim and not being able to drive far because it’s not safe. I hope everyone calls their insurance before letting anyone take their car and know who you’re dealing with. I am extremely disappointed. It seemed like they wanted that insurance check more than actually fixing my car….
BEWARE! DONT leave your car here! I didn’t get mine back for 8 months. They kept saying they couldn’t get parts. Then when I got my car back I had to bring it back to the dealer two times for two broken things. How is this place is business?
One Star until I go into their office and see what happens.
I made several calls to pick up my car but never got thru to anyone and now a week later I still haven't gotten my vehicle.
Lets see what they think they are going to bill me.
Hopefully they run a good business and do the right thing. I will update soon.

The best conversations are in person. After discussing the situation all went well. They even added a final tow to another location at a great price.
As I walked out I stated that I would rather not need you guys again but if I do I will.

My car was towed by Styland Collision with a pick up truck to Styland Collision Corp 350 Front Street Staten Island ny 10304 on 12/14 2021. After I researched this company at BBB and read the reviews and speaking with people who had problems with this company I was advised to get my car out of that shop . The following morning 12/15/2021 I called to inform them I was on my way to pick up my car. When I got there I was told they didn't know anything about me picking up the car and made me wait over two hours for them to release my car to me overcharging me storage fees and clean up charges the total bill was $680.46 they demanded cash payment.
This shop is the WORST, they stood with my vehicle for over a month without providing or assisting with car rental like ALL other shops do. They don’t answer the phon or return calls, are not forthcoming about timeframes and are dishonest. Avoid the costs which you’ll incur in renting a car for an undetermined amount of time and aggravation.
The destroyed my car, lost OEM parts and refused to replace them and my car had to be redone by the dealer. See in front of the judge.
Towing the car there was the biggest mistake I made.
IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD!!! They are full of LIES. It’s been over a month and I still do not have my car. They lack basic communication and customer service skills. NEVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!! HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!
These people will harass you and stand there and wait even after you tell them you have your own means of towing. The man said everything he can to try and get me to let him take my car. He said " I will get you a rental right now", "i will have your car fixed in a few days", " just tell the insurance what they need to hear so we can take the car and get everything done". I dont even know how this man knew the car got into an accident. The police dont come to scene anymore in staten island so why was he even there? Why wouldnt he leave? Why was he so persistent? Trying to talk me out of where I am going to try and get money off of me. Telling me I needed a credit card to hold a rental but I wont be charged. These people are out hunting desperate people down. Thank God I knew better. A person who has no street smarts will fall right into their trap. Dont let these people fool you. Something is not right about them.
Styland Collision has done wonderful work to my damaged car. I picked up my car today and it feels like I just got it new out the dealer. Thank you Vinny & everyone who worked so well on my Honda. Excellent customer service & the best work so far!
They are very professional and responsive.
They picked up and dropped of the car, after repairs are done, at my house. They delt with my insurance themselves. The car looks like new. And the work was completed 2 days earlier than promissed.
Styland Collision they are the best repair auto shop on Staten Island they do excellent work l highly recommended them for their professional auto body work.
My experience at Styland Collision was nonetheless great. My car was hit from behind, trunk and bumper destroyed. Customer service is exemplary (contrary to the previous review) and the work is professional and competitively priced. The communication with Nick, Ivelisse, the insurance company and myself was prompt and efficient. My car looked brand new and my entire car was clean on return. They also helped with return of rental car. I am a satisfied customer and would recommend family and friends.

Was extremely satisfied from beginning to end. Repairs were done in a timely fashion. Truck looks amazing. Customer Service, Evie and Jackie, were exceptional not only informative but caring!!! When it was time to retrieve the car from shop, they were willing to wait for me to get there around 6ish and for that I highly recommend Styland Collision. Customers are always first to them!!!!
If I could put zero stars I would this is not an auto body shop it’s a towing company that thinks they can do body work please take my word for it do not leave your car there for body work learn from my mistake I had to bring my car back there at least six times and they still have not resolved the problem they are the worst I repeat DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CAR THERE YOU WILL REGRET IT
My car was towed here after an accident 12/2015. It took them until 2/2016 to finish it & when I picked it up I discovered that they robbed my vehicle. I will never use them again nor will I ever recommend anyone else to. And because they had my car for practically a month longer than the time period my insurance company would pay, they gave me their word that they would pick up the remaining tab. Fast forward to 2017, come to find out, they NEVER did & for that reason Enterprise rental cars will no longer rent to me until the tab is paid.
I don't understand some people. I can be VERY critical, and to bash someone on bulls---- is horrible. I just picked up My Daughters car from Styland Collision and I couldn't be more pleased. Her Car looks beautiful and they even detailed it in and out. I was treated like an old friend even though I never met these folks before. The owner worked hard to get the car done and promised to pay for a rental if He didn't. He went above and beyond to get the vehicle done perfectly. I HIGHLY recommend Styland on Front St in Staten Island and WOULD NOT go elsewhere. Thank You STYLAND.
One word of advice.....RUN! Run far far far away from this collision shop.
If there is one thing about your car and decision making that you must make this 1 time in your life, please let it be paying attention to my warning along with several others who have also said the same! THE STATE SHOULD CLOSE THIS PLACE! The positive reviews were written by his friends and not at all accurate! STAY AWAY!

Scammers!! Styland Recovery forces their customers to commit insurance fraud!!! I was told I would not have to pay my deductible, if I let them damage my vehicle that would cause another couple of thousand dollars worth!! Also they made a customer call the insurance company and lie about whom there were because the owner of the damaged vehicle was overseas.. Once they get your business they will bully you with their mafia attitude..Please avoid and file a case when they ask you to intentionally commit insurance fraud for their own financial gain!!!
What a disaster of an establishment!!!! NEVER have your car towed there if you re ever in an accident! My mother's car was taken there, and let's just say the the accident itself was fun compared to dealing with the idiots at this joint. Run, don't walk from here!!!!!!! ANYONE that says the work here is timely and done correctly, are either employees, or have no clue!
RUN. Avoid this place, steer clear. Believe the bad reviews. They held my car hostage for 3 months when the repairs should have taken less than 3 weeks. No joke, run by thugs.
It's been weeks now and still no car. When looking up this company on the Better Business Bureau site every review was negative, citing that work took longer than it should, members of the company are always confused about parts, timing, cost, and bills were inflated. TERRIBLE. There are better auto body shops on the island.
