I never leave reviews at all, because I just never have the time to write them out, but I feel compelled to write this and leave a negative review because this company is just awful to deal with. Now, I may sound like a Karen here, but the following needs to be said. The negative review I'm leaving all comes down to the head honcho of the place, the older gentleman that works there (I use the term "gentleman" loosely, because there's nothing gentle about this guy). Everytime I go in there the guy gives me an attitude about something, and today was just the final straw with me. I dropped off 6 or 7 bags of empties (in his defense, I DID drop them off a half hour before they closed, so I understand why he'd be upset to an extent), which in turn set the dude off with him berating me and giving me an attitude saying "Next time, don't drop this many bags off at this hour!", where I replied with "I apologize, I just got out of work at 4, this was the only time I could do so". He then looked at me all upset and told me that I could also drop them off tomorrow during the day like a normal person would, and I was taken aback, surprised that he would say something like that to a customer. Like, I'm sorry, I know dropping off empties a half hour before closing time is annoying and all, but people DO work normal 8am to 4pm shifts sometimes too, I'd be working the SAME shift the next day as well, why chastise someone about dropping empties off to you, if the SOLE REASON OF YOUR BUSINESS TO EXIST, IS TO COLLECT EMPTIES? You could EASILY count them the next day ya know? Honestly, it's not even really about the amount of bags I dropped off though, I've gone in there with two bags sometimes, and the guy still gives me an attitude about everything. Don't allow people to drop empties off to you if you're gonna have an issue with it. Make people count them on their own to make life easier for yourself. Which is what I'm going to do from here on out elsewhere, because I'd rather take the time to count these out, than get an attitude from this guy about something every single time I'm in there. I recommend NOT going to this place because they're just rude, and I'll be telling everyone I know to stay far away from this place as well. The other employees there seem completely nice and friendly to do business with, but this older guy just ruins it for the rest of them unfortunately, and it's sad because If this guy berates customers the way he does, then I'm sure he verbally abuses his staff too. Also, I take solace in the fact that, judging by other reviews on here too, I'm not the only one who's dealt with this guy's attitude before. How can this guy continue to treat his customers this way?

Older guy that works here is miserable and seems to have a gripe about anything and everything. First time I went in, he complained that all of the pre counted cans were put back into factory boxes that were mixed by brand, which seems ridiculous since they need to count, sort and bag them on their end anyway. I just chalked it up to dude having a bad day. Anyway, I went back today and have every single can pre counted and sorted into the correct box by brand and type, told him the total count, and left with my cash. As I'm driving home, I start doing the math because the total seemed lower than it should have been and I realized that he only paid me for $0.05 per can instead of $0.06 which really is the only reason to come here and deal with this moody, temperamental guy in the first place. He shorted my by like $3. Wasn't worth driving all the way back here over $3. Lesson learned. Avoid this place because they rip you off and dude is absolutely miserable.

Guy who is at the counter usually gives you a hard time about dirty returns. It's bottles people they get dirty and sometimes stink. Stopped going because of that guy.

Very friendly! Clean and orderly. Just count your cans before you come in if you want to do a quick drop off

These guys are the BEST! I would'nt bring my bottles anywhere else! They're fast, courteous, and simply the best! Why go anywhere else when you can get 6 cents here!!!

A great business in that they will accept the returns and, if requested, donate the bottle proceeds to one of a couple of charities.

Called and asked if there were any preferences. Guy just said make sure they’re in order and counted. When I brought my cans in the older guy working there threw a giant hissy fit. Like if your job is to count cans and you’re mad about it look in the mirror dude

I've always had a great experience here. Always friendly, quick service. I count my bottles so I just tell them how many and they hand me cash. In and out in under a minute. You don't have to count them but I like to so I don't have to come back later. I believe you have 30 days to go back for your money though which is convenient.

I’ve been going to this redemption place for 2 years. Around Christmas time I brought many bags of returnables to this location. I never count them. So when I went to get my cash, a man with black hair came to the register, asked my name, and looked up my return count. He stated the count and handed me the cash. I saw the amount on the sheet they keep; it was scribbled out and another amount replaced it. I told the employee I believe there were more than what he stated. He quickly opened the register and gave me more cash. He said, “we want to keep you as a customer.” I don’t feel comfortable or trusting of the employees. Undecided whether to use their service anymore!

Staff was rude and disrespectful. The smell was atrocious. I would avoid at any cost.

Have been returning bottles and cans here for months and they are always appreciative and friendly. I’ll never go back to grocery stores for returns again!

Honestly, most of the time I come here, I have zero issues. Generally the younger staff are very polite even when they seem a tad busy. When I go to return bottles, I always take the time to count and label every bag of bottles I gather to make it easier for both parties instead of having to wait for them to count the bags one bottle at a time. Makes sense, right? It takes me a few minutes to do at home and it saves them time in the long run too. I came in earlier and mentioned I had quite a few bottles saved and that I would count the overall bottle count on my phone as I brought them in. This took me less than 2 minutes to do, and the older (late 30s to mid 40s) man who was working got really annoyed and said I should have counted them beforehand. I apologized, but there was zero reason for him to be as rude as he was. I get it, you're busy. We all get busy at our jobs, but that's no reason to take it out on people that come in and help contribute to your business. Especially when they go out of their way to try to help you out beforehand.

Beware if your cans are even slightly dented. They will berate you and deny them. Take them elsewhere. Klinck is much easier. Yes they give you .6 instead of .5 but is the BS really worth it?

I did a test if this business was TRUTHFUL. THEY ARE NOT, flat out! Now I'm not gonna complain over a little over $4 in can returns but I definitely won't go back. Or if I do, I will tell them how many I have to be sure I get all my money back as I should. Here's the test I did.... I had exactly 294 cans. I even double checked that total. My Mother in law was awesome enough to return them for me while I was at work. She did not know how many there were. So when they asked and she said she didn't know they said no problem they could count them. 294 cans at 6 cents a pop is $17.64. When I got home she had gotten a receipt. It was for $13.26, exactly 221 cans at six cents a pop. That's 73 cans short! Or $4.38!!!! DON'T TRUST THEM TO COUNT YOUR CANS/BOTTLES FOR YOU. I DIDNT EVEN GET 5 CENTS BACK, THAT WOULD'VE BEEN $14.70!!!!!

I brought in a few large black bags full of water bottles and it was so much easier than standing at Walmart waiting for the guy to fix the machine. I didn’t have to count them or even wait there. Dropped them off went to go shopping and by the time I was done they called me back. They are great there.
