Decent selection given size and location. Been getting groceries here for the last 10 years. Staff is friendly enough given that it is one of the first places some people get a job. Good place to get your basics. This isnt walmart or market32, this is a local grocery store. The produce is good, meat looks fresh and they got most of your basic supplies.
I shop at the shop and save every Tuesday and Friday, spending over 150 each time. Today I am walking out with nothing! I get the rotisserie chicken for dinner those nights. And for the past few weeks, there have been no times on when they were cooked, last week I complained about it and this week I’m in here trying to get one in there again is no time or date on them. So I decided I will shop at the Cambridge market instead of spending my money here
I am fairly new to the area and only recently thought I would give this local shop my business and am so glad I did!!! It is so convenient and the store is always neat and clean. There are so many great things I could say about the store but what impresses me most are the staff working at the front end. They are always smiling and respectful, both qualities you don't find everywhere. Last night I was coming home late and needed a few items and hoped I would beat closing time. I arrived at 8:50 and was still greeted with a smile when I arrived. When I was checking out everyone was friendly and kind and it just made me feel good. It is hard to find good help these days - might be because they are all at your store. Thanks to all the staff at the front end for always making my shopping experience a great one.
I shop here almost daily, and almost everyone is very friendly. In addition, I might add that the manager seems to be into quality control, as far as his hires. Not only are most of the people friendly, but (and especially with the cashiers, the new/temporary hires are all (or very nearly all) very good people. I've lived in this town longer than most of them have been alive, and they are not only honest, but helpful and respectful people.
I've seen a few negative reviews on here, but I urge you to take it for what it is. A random stranger coming in on a random day who caught someone who wasn't at their best. They are all human unfortunately. They make mistakes, like all of us.
I've never had an issue there that wasn't resolved (quickly) to my satisfaction. As far as hometown grocery stores go, this is one of the very best, in every way. They are clean, respectful, helpful, and kind. I've watched them pick people up off the floor, give people rides home, and really go above and beyond for people they didn't even know.
If there was ever a store that deserves 5 stars, this is it. This is the store others should be measured against.
Poor management under staffed and very inconvenient no service clerks ever on clock can't even return cans and bottles. Most of the employees are very rude and snobby to customers
I have been shopping here for years and it is slowly declining in quality. Today when I asked about a stocking issue with a specific product I was given a very rude answer. During the same visit I witnessed mice run under the deli counter, I brought it up and it was shrugged off. I then told the manager and he told me they have a exterminator service that comes in once a month and it wasn't his problem! WHAT! That is a horrible excuse and I was treated like I was the one with the issue. Get the store cleaned up! If you have a mouse problem you should have someone there helping fix the issue right away.
Always come here to shop, love the fact that I can shop in the heart of where my family grew up. Great prices on most things I am always looking for..cashiers are kind and everything is always stocked. Meat department is AMAZING!!
A very reliable grocery store. The eorkers are always very kind and will help whenever they can. The prices are low and they have quality food, which make it seem like you have a 50% coupon, when your paying full price!
Supplies by Hannaford. Only grocery store in Schaghticoke. Frequently see friends & neighbors while shopping. Great selection or regular & organic items, plus pet needs & beer. Friendly employees & clean store. Enjoyable shopping.
I'm a Hannaford fan. I started shopping at Hannaford in Troy New York when they moved in. I was very pleased to see them move into Schaghticoke. Keep Smiling!!!
We love this store for it's smaller size. It carries everything we need, without walking 2 miles around the store.
Oh, and we are big fans of the hot chicken in the deli.
I like it however I am disappointed that since it is a division of Hannaford Supermarket they don't accept my Hannaford Supermarket ecoupons or ebonus points on my phone. I can't even get points and it is now my main source for shopping as it is right down the road.
Needs to carry more Vegan options! Been more than a few times that I have gotten bagged produce there only to get home and find at half not to be good!
I mean it doesn't have everything and the kitchen sink, but it's got a little more than your regular local grocer. There's a section for pet stuff, section for hygiene stuff, section for cookware. I can get 90% of my shopping done here. I really only have to go someplace else if I'm buying some serious Hardware or furniture.
This is a great store for people who live near Schaghticoke or route 40. They have fresh vegetables, a deli department, a butcher and all of what you would expect grocery store to have. They are local so they are great with directions also. Very friendly and customer orientated.
We were buying beer our neighbor was behind us since we were talking to her they made her show ID and she can have it with her so we couldn't buy the beer totally ridiculous especially when she's almost 40 and the person buying the beer had her ID.
Nice selection for a smaller store and the staff is very friendly and accommodating concidering a 36 yr old is driving an electric cart. No snide remarks like at another store the day b4. Btw I have a brain tumor and am unstable but they were all to nice to ask which is becoming a lost art. THE Being polite part that is so thank you!
For a small store, they have a really good selection, and you can be in and out pretty quickly. We stop in here regularly for a few items. Prices are decent. Staff is helpful.
