Run run run donot bring your truck to these people they are liars and theirs and they don’t know how to inspect or do anything with trucks, I brought my truck to them three days went by they still don’t know what’s wrong with my truck, I then tell them I’m coming back to pick up my truck they lied and said they close at 12:00 just so I won’t get my truck. I been passing back and fourth by the company no one ever looked at my truck, I go to the shop anyway there still open I ask for my truck they charge me 600 dollars to take my truck and did absolutely nothing to my truck, then I’m calling they keep putting me on hold and no one never come to phone , the manger very nasty man and very greedy for money and they one mechanic no good. Donot bring your truck here. Also I filed a claim against this company camera infront and back my truck will show the guy was on my truck nomore then 20 mins. They are criminal and everyone needs to come together and sign a petition to close this business down. I will get it started and done if it’s the last thing I do

Junior was so good at explaining everything and was very professional. It was simple fixes but he knew why it was right away and helped me get the job done for the best price possible.
Stay away. Big on talk, small on service. They do not stand by their work. Tryed them as my NY vender for troubles with my trucks when we delivered a certain customer. (10 loads per day). They claim to be on long Island but they are in CT. TRAIN WRECK!
It appears that this company has really gone down hill. Please read the reviews and the detailed testimonials of what they have done to people and they way they treat their customers. $500 call out fee that was not disclosed. When this was disputed we were cussed out. Try to avoid this company. They are doing very shady things.
Do not work with them!!! My truck needed to be towed and my insurance company assigned me this people to help me. The ETA was 90 minutes and they never showed up. I called after 2 hours waiting and a very rude guy kept hanging the phone on me, completely ignoring my needs and saying that it was 90 minutes wait time. I kept saying it was more than 90 minutes already, and he just pretended that he couldn’t hear me, hanging the phone over and over.
Progressive should definitely change this provider that causes more problems than solutions when us, as clients, only need professional and reliable road assistance.
Terrible company charged high price for less than a 20 mile... they charged me 2800 Anybody that has to come here Just be prepared to be ripped OFF!!! I would recommend reading the reviews before stay away from calling here because you will deeply regret.
Horrible company. Needed a service on my truck on a Sunday morning. At 11am I was told a technician will be there in 60-90 minutes. And the charge was $150 FOR THREE HOURS and 35$ fuel charge. Two hours passed, I called back the owner of the Company, Steven says "I didn't know you had me on a stop watch" I continued to explain that time is valuable and it's fine people are late, just have to let me know. He tells me I have to wait another hour. I continue to wait. I call him an hour later, he tells me his technician had a flat tire. Great, it's an emergency truck repair truck, they have all the necessary equipment on the truck to repair the flat. I say okay I'm waiting, I asked if they had the parts I need. He said no he only has the belt but not the tensioner. well of course you don't, you're sending your guy over to just admire my truck. I tell him I will go get the tensioner. I go and come back from a 40 minute trip to get the tensioner and his technician still didn't show up. It is now 4pm. I call this guy once every 5 minutes, it rings out every time and goes to voicemail. I know he is ignoring my call because soon as his guy shows up at 5pm, guess who calls the technician, my good friend Steven. Keep in mind Steven has not called me or updated me AT All. On top of all of this, his technician does not bring the belt either. So another 40 minute trip to get the belt. This belt replacement job is a two man job. But he sends one, so I helped the technician through it ALL. We finally finished at 9pm. Bill just suddenly turned from 150 for 3 hours to 150 an hour, minimum 3 hours and all of a sudden the bill is 545$. Total scam of a company. Dave the technician was a good man. Nothing but a bunch of money hungry liars. They have no compassion for customer service. I would give them a negative Star but you have to give them a star for the review.
Whoever gave this horrible company more than one star review was definitely asked, maybe even paid, to do so. They have terrible customer service, leave you waiting for hours, and ridiculously overcharge you. Definitely do not recommend this company. Plenty of other companies out there. Save your self some time and stress and call someone else.
I am not sure how they are still in business! But I guess when there’s no one else available, you do have to call the worst one from the bunch. Terrible service! Horrible attitude by owner! Says a specific time but help comes hours and hours later. Just not trust worthy at all. Do your best to stay away from calling them. They won’t value your business nor your time. They just want the money but doesn’t deliver!

My experience with this company: My truck's belts failed on BQE. This company advised to get off the highway so they don't have to tow me. So got off at first exit after letting the truck cool down. Some money saved there. Teresa was very communicative, informative and professional. I told her what problem was, so the tech picked up parts on the way to my downed truck. I was told service would be there in 90 mins, they arrived in about 2 hours (traffic). I was told about pricing from beginning and agreed so can't complain there. Is road call cheap? No. Especially in NY, especially for tractor trailer. But these guys will get you going, do not forget discuss pricing ahead. Do not push, kindly negotiate.

Very expensive just for take out the hose of power steering and do nothing. They knew the VIN, pictures and they were not able to get the hose with the idea of charge another day and another trip to the place were the truck was brokedown. $1,119.15. Mechanic was not really prepared to provide a quality service but the company is ready to charge you even time that they did not invest on your truck.
Theresa doesn't know what she is doing, this company is a rip off. the manager is a thief and very disrespectful. I will be filing a claim against this company, everyone should stay clear away from this company. This place is a complete rip off. They charge me 1750 dollars for a air leak job not ddon correctly. And the next month same problem came . I will suggest not to go to these guys .

Teresa was really helpful and got me tech in 30min. Tech came out did the diag went got the part came back installed it in minutes. Their service is good, but you will have to pay the New York prices to get it. Nevertheless I am rolling again and to that I say thank you.
Don't call this company they're liars, I called them for road service, in arrival immediately charged my card for $700. Then said we can't fix your truck here you need to be towed to their place so we need to charge your card again for $1,800. When I refused their request they left me there! I called another company and they were able to do the job right there in about an hour. I hope something legally should be done against them, l put 1 star there because this is the only way you can post your view!
The only reason I put 1 star is due to the fact that you must tap a star to get in to post but these crooks suck. I was robbed today by these people Steve and Bill play tag team with the intent to defraud.Had a busted hub and bearings with minimul if any damage to the spindle. Bill said he can put it together no problem just had to wait till 9:00am. At that time I was given a reasonable rate with initial min deposit of $450 for Road rate and first three hours of service. I thought not bad should be done by then. This was early Tuesday morning and low and behold by opening of the business day all of the crooks must have come in cause they went behind my back to the carrier sang a different tune, one that changed the minimum deposit to $1,000 for supposed work already done. Naturally the carrier denied payment on my behalf seeing clearly the attempted robbery but I was stranded in Brooklyn so I pleaded with a woman over there for help and her and Steve reduced the deposit for me to around $700 ok cool we can get it done now. No sooner than the funds left my card the we entered a new chapter called defrauding the public because they sure attempted to strongarm me for a firm $3,800 with the only plot twist of the $700 not deducted from the total and when I asked him indirectly if he bumped his head he got arrogant and left me on the side of road stranded and kept my deposit. I slow rolled back to Jersey and I’m blessed right now. God is good and they will meet his fury.
Reached them at 4 PM to tow a small dump to Jersey, they didn't come till 8pm and the truck was too small for the job the owner wanted $ 100. Because he was so late and didn't bring the rite truck I said no way. Behind my mans back the owner of LAKEville TOWING STOLD THE KEYS FROM OUR TRUCK, luckily I got a real company and I got my truck home safely, I had extra keys LAKEVILLE IS A SCAMING DIS HONEST BUNCH OF FOOOOOLS.

We were trying to get a vehicle donated to the Salvation Army, and were forced to deal with this towing company. I scheduled a time for a Thursday afternoon, and they never showed up. When I called to see why they weren't coming, I was greeted by someone who was extremely rude and quickly began raising their voice and yelling at me. They told me they had not gotten notice of the appointment. Apparently I had scheduled the pick-up with another person who only works MWF, and this person comes in on Thursdays. Trying to reschedule was frustrating and confusing. The person just asked for my address but didn't want to take down my phone number. I asked why not, and they responded that the phone number and all the other information was already in the system and that they "could just look it up on the computer if they felt like it." I am completely confused as to why, if everything was in the system, then they couldn't simply have checked to see that the pickup was on the schedule. In any case, this towing company needs to (a) figure out basic logistics and how to coordinate a schedule among its own employees and (b) teach its employees not to yell at their customers. As many of you know, it's a hassle leaving a car parked on the street in NYC longer than expected (given street parking limitations), not to mention the trouble of taking time off of work just to get a vehicle donated.
We have used this service twice now. The first time they replaced two batteries and charged $900. Although I thought this price was absolutely absurd, they actually did some work and had to come out here. We called again when we thought our starter was shot on a van, turns out the mechanic was here for 10 minutes, the fuel gauge was broken just needed gas. THEY CHARGED $550 FOR 10 MINUTES!!!! The mechanic didn't even offer to fix the gauge he just left. Absolute scum here
My car broke down and After hours of trying to find a solution I decided to call it quits . this company was the only one who came to assist me after 10pm! Price mayb a bit up there but due to the time and how far I was going and the fact I needed the tow by tonight made up for it. I am forever grateful for the great services that was provided.
The coach bus a co-worker of mine was driving broke down we called for a tow. They were friendly and reliable came quickly to our aid. Junior the driver was helpful and courteous also very knowledgeable. Thank you for helping us out.
I've never thought of towing companies as compassionate, friendly, and understanding. When you need them, they've gotcha! I live in California and needed my elderly mom's car towed back to the dealership to end the lease early. I called AAA for a referral. Their first recommendation was Lakeville Heavy Towing & Truck Repair. I'm so glad.
Susan and their entire team were amazing. They arranged to meet, get the car started and out of the garage and on to the tow truck.
As it turns out, the dealership messed up their internal communication and refused the car! Lakeville Heavy Towing and Truck Repair returned the car to mom's house and called to offer to pick it up again the next day and deliver it after we got the situation cleared up -- AT NO EXTRA CHARGE! And that's what they did. AMAZING!
I don't know what transpired to cause others to feel this is not a service oriented tow company, but that's the exact opposite of my experience.

These people dont deserve much less earn at least one Star ....Believe the other reviews also it's true ...Stay away ...it was to late for me by the time I took the time to see their ratings...their going to bill you sky high and try to break you ...I had a bad experience with the them and learned from it ....these is a bussiness no one should trust! The owners name is Steve and he's the worse one to deal with...I'm not complaining about the workers they do their job it's the one running the bussiness that's out to get anyone that breaks down ....like I said stay away and your better off
Stay away from them..do not call this company! They are very nice on the phone , never believe, never trust them..the owner is acting like a mob.. One fuel filter change on the road , and he asked 1850$ !! Yes 1850$ !!..called the cops ofcourse and did not pay him , still waiting for the court!! If you are stuck on the road , they are the last one you ask for help..
By far the worst service I ever experienced. ... $650 for them to come out and not fix my problem $400 for a tow ..... need a new starter on my truck they were going to charge $3500 for the part and $3500 for the labor. .... add that all up you got the price of another truck..... karma a "beach"
Never take your car\truck for repairs. They over charge you car repairs. My truck couldn't start up. I got tow to the shop. Next day they're looking into my brakes which wasn't the problem. I told them car couldn't start up. I asked to them tell me why car wouldn't start. THey give me story that I need tune up and engine temp senor was not working. Never once my car had check engine light on. I was charged 250 for them looking at my car and couldn't get a root cause of the problem. I shouldn't had been charge for them looking into my truck. I should had just paid for the towing.
If you have Allstate Motor Club or another towing plan, watch out for drivers that (1) FORCE YOU TO PAY UPFRONT, (2) write the total bill up for "only what you are supposed to pay out of pocket" and DO NOT TELL YOU THAT THEY WILL ALSO BE BILLING THE TOWING CLUB THE SAME EXACT AMOUNT, but instead act like that's the whole bill and tell you to submit your bill to your towing club and you will be reimbursed. It is a lie, as they then bill the towing club before you can even send in your copy of the bill that says "paid in full" for reimbursement and the towing club won't pay you back. If you use them, make sure you are told the TOTAL BILL for their services, what they are going to get from the towing club and what you should pay them because they write up the bill as if it is the TOTAL BILL and do not tell you it is not. Better yet, tell the towing club, not to send them. It took them THREE, yes THREE hours to arrive at 25 Davis Ave, Port Washington, NY 11050 from their location. No, it was not snowing on that night! The service was winching. Probably took less than 10 minutes to pop the car out. For this, we had the privilege of waiting three (3) whole hours and paying a total of $200.00 ($100.00 demanded in cash by the driver and $100.00 they also billed to Allstate Motor Club). PS: Allstate Motor Club sucks too! Avoid them! Lying, idiotic third world customer service and once they assign a job, if you are unlucky enough to be assigned a towing service that takes HOURS AND HOURS they will not cancel the job and reassign it to a towing service who will arrive in a reasonable amount of time instead of what Lakeville Service Station did, which is take over THREE HOURS to travel 7.55 miles, which should take 16 minutes from start to finish.
