They will robbed you, I gave them 80 pounds mix metas of brass, copper and iron. After they dumped my metals and asked me to proceed to a counter and I found only $10 with the payment receipt no one was there.
What a great solution for metal objects you don't want! The staff couldn't have been nicer and gave a generous amount for my metal bed frame. They take appliances too. Definitely a better option than others because donation centers and even the DSNY recycling center won't take metal. And you actually get paid for your trash by these friendly guys.

Totally ripped us off and didn't grade our copper properly. I've been to many different scrap yards and I always get 88% for whatever bring in and they only gave us regular wire price. More than a dollar less a pound. I will never be going here again. It's better to just take the trip or wait for a place that'll give you a fair price than to go here.

I had a decent experience with this metal scrap recycler. The staff was polite and helpful, and I appreciate their service, which deserves 5 stars. However, I've given it 2 stars because it was quite a hassle for me. I had to collect&store a lot of metal, load it in my truck, and then drive it in for recycling. Back of my truck and front seat was fully loaded with an old oven and metal. The money I got in return didn't match the effort I put in, and the prices they offered seemed low. It's true metal prices depend on the market, but it felt like I did most of the work and they got all the benefit. Still, they are better than the last scrap yard I dealt with in New Jersey.
I recently had an unfortunate experience at this scrap yard. The employee I interacted with left me feeling disrespected and taken advantage of. When I inquired about the compensation for my 75-gallon water heater, the employee intentionally misled me by saying "forty," making it sound like I would receive $40. However, upon receiving my payment, I discovered it was only $4. When I pointed out the discrepancy to another employee, the one who initially misled me found it amusing and joined in mocking me with their colleague behind the tinted glass booth. This behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable. It's disappointing to have encountered such dishonesty and disrespect. Given this experience, I question the validity of the positive reviews on this establishment's profile. Overall, this encounter has left a lasting negative impression on me.
John and his team are fabulous! The service Is top notch and done quicker then intended saving our medal stamping company thousands of dollars.. This team gets my highest recommendation and I will now use John and his team for my home contracting work.. electrical, cleaning, refinishing, painting, and all new renovations. Horrible I live near by this place now and wow what a mistake. I moved in on a Sunday and it was quite in the area and no traffic. Mon-Friday driving past this place to go home and wow I live I’m a block away I can hear the noise they make. Banging and crushing metal all day long and the trash build up in the street is gross. They also cause so much traffic and nearly cause accidents on this busy strip daily. Blocking the street double parking large dump trucks, it the worst thing I’ve seen in this area. Feel bad for the people who live closer then I do. Horrible. This place should be ashamed at themselves for doing such loud work near homes and over all ruining this neighborhood. Worst thing I did was move in this area last week. Already looking for a new place because this establishment is noisy and dangerous.
Cool helpful employees. An employee saw me carrying my heavy milk crate from down the street and helped me to the scale. I turned in my 4 old brake rotors. They pay 5 cents/pound.
From the inquiry I made on a simple phone call to when I actually got there and made it happen the reviews follow up well with the reputation. this was completely easy and painless and actually got a little bit more money than what I thought for the refrigerator I was turning in. not bad at all. Very professional and honest they definitely have me as a brand new customer I will be bringing them more items ASAP I recommend this place 100% and it's nearby home so even better!! but one of the guys tried to tell me to just drop something and leave. As in not get paid for it for some reason. Im guessing he was trying to pocket the 10$ himself. I really dont know why though, but yea watch out for that.
