Prompt, trustworthy service!
My engine overheated on the Taconic (caused by another mechanic not bleeding the cooling system post flush) and I happened to pull over right by this shop. I was planning on walking over for some coolant but the dispatcher sent Ronny to double check I didn’t have a leak. After refilling the coolant he suggested I bring the car to the shop to make sure there wasn’t a leak and to properly bleed the system.
Ronny worked on my car right away and I was back on the highway within the hour! Even though it was very clear I know nothing about cars, they presented my options honestly without trying to sway me into getting more done.
These guys are highly professsional, courteous and pay attention to detail. You could not find a better tow company. Watching the technician at work, I never had a seconds doubt or concern. Superb!! They arrived at the agreed time. Loaded the vehicle on the flatbed very carefully. They could not have been better.
City wide was excellent. They came in 30 minutes.my boyfriends car slid on the ice hanging off a cliff. They were a life saver. I'm so thankful my boyfriend wasn't hurt. they pulled out the car safely. I would recommend them 100%.
The tow truck came within a reasonable amount of time and they were very professional and helpful. The gentleman who came explained the procedure clearly and they were very open and reasonable with the prices for the services they provided.
I broke an axle Thanksgiving week and took it to Citywide, based on the suggestion of friends, as my dealership couldn't even look at it for two weeks. They had it back to me by the end of the third day. Looks like I've found myself a new auto shop! Everyone was so nice, the cost was reasonable, and I couldn't be happier.
Super helpful this morning when my low tire pressure light went on as I was driving down the Taconic! I quick got off at Peekskill Hollow Road, saw the shop and pulled in. They didn't hesitate to help me out, and were so kind in doing so. I really appreciate it and will keep them in mind if I have any other issues during my commute. Thank you so much!
PHENOMENAL!! I am so Thankful to have found them while I was stuck on the Taconic this evening. I called and within FIVE minutes they had come to my rescue. You can imagine how scary it was to be stuck ON the Taconic with your children. He was super friendly and got us to safety quickly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!!
Brought my 2021 Nissan Altima for an oil change. The car was finished in a better than timely manner. Mike, Gary and the boys did another great job (as they always do)

After calling over 10 different companies who couldn't help me, I finally got in touch with Citiwide Automotive. Jeanette was incredibly responsive and helpful! One of our vacuum pump trucks was stuck in the snow, and their team solved the problem in less than 30 minutes. Amazing service and professionalism—highly recommend!
Being a popular high school jock that knows nothing about cars makes me an easy target for mechanics to take advantage of. Thankfully the team at Citywide is full of kind hearted men who always have the customers best interest in mind. My Nissan Altima with 250k miles on it was on life support. I brought her to Citywide and they brought my baby back to life. I broke down in Mahopac and had the pleasure of being towed by one of the owners Gary (Irish guy who pretends to be italian). He was at the scene within minutes and was super polite and helpful. The owner Mike (Goofty Italian Guy) and his team performed all the necessary work to keep my car running while keeping the cost low. I am thankful I have found my new family mechanic and will be a citywide customer for life.
I found this shop while looking for a tow company to take my car to the dealership - I went with them for the price. The gentleman who came and picked up my car was prompt, courteous and very nice.
Soon after that tow my car needed repairs - I had no idea what it needed - I came to them with a list of things that I "heard, felt and at some point probably imagined!" They took my car in and found two things. They could have, at that point told me that I had to fix both (other places I have been to would have said they couldn't diagnose the one without fixing the other). I was worried and would have fixed both of them. But instead they told me the TRUTH - take care of one job at a time and let's see what happens - if the car runs right w/the simple fix we can then fix the other thing - if the car doesn't then I could look into a big fix or a new car :-(
They nailed the problem with a simple fix and the second problem was simple also and that was taken care of. I left their office feeling great. Feeling like they actually cared.
Recently I had another repair needed, yes I am trying to avoid a new car;-) I thought it was going to cost more money than I could put into the car-I thought an exhaust system, I was counting my pennies, getting ready to break the bank. I dropped the car off, they got to it quickly and efficiently. They called me and told me it was another inexpensive fix to the exhaust system instead of a new system. Again, honesty.
This shop is filled with honest and caring people! I have dealt with many auto mechanics and repair shops over the years and I have NEVER walked away from them feeling like they were sincerely taking care of the customer.
Citywide Automotive has never treated me as if I didn't know what I was talking about because I am a woman. Each mechanic and the owner listen and are above and beyond honest, sincere and caring. Janette and her customer service, is so outgoing and friendly and always goes above and beyond to make you feel you have got your car at the right place!

Highly recommend! My car broke down while I was out of town for work. I have AAA, so I had my car towed to this auto shop. I explained nicely that the very next day I am scheduled to be in another state for work and that if at all possible to please move quickly to figure out what's wrong so we can get it fixed without me falling behind schedual by days. I could be wrong, but I believe his name was Giovanni, who called me and explained to me what was wrong. I had lots of questions, and he took the time to explain everything to me in detail and emailed me a full breakdown estimate of parts and labor, and I was SHOCKED to see such honest and fair pricing. My car was towed, accessed, and REPAIRED all in one day. And still to this day, my car is driving like brand new. They even stayed open a little later than normal so I could come pick up my car. I couldn't have picked a better place to send my car, and they made a woman over a 1000 miles away from home feel so much better in this stressful situation.
10 out of 10 Highly Recommend.

Excellent service from the time I arrived. The office manager was super friendly. They kept me informed of everything. Had my car towed to them on Wednesday late afternoon and picked my car up on Thursday afternoon. Great experience and they were very knowledgeable and gave me important information on how to keep my car running smoothly. Have to add the beautiful mascot (the dog) was super friendly and loving. I would 100% recommend this place to my family and friends.

My husband hit a deer last night on the Taconic and the folks at Citywide Automotive & Towing came to the rescue. From the moment they arrived on the scene, their professionalism and courtesy were evident.
The next morning, after talking to her on the phone we had the pleasure of meeting Jeanette, who turned our unfortunate and stressful situation into a much smoother experience. She was not only informative and helpful but also showed genuine concern for the situation. Jeanette's positive attitude and kindness was appreciated. She also informed us promptly when the car was picked up by our mechanic.

While driving south on the Taconic, the air in my front passenger tire suddenly went flat. I took the first exit off the highway, and was super lucky to find Mike at Citywide Automotive. He was super helpful in assessing the tire and fixing it straight away. I was back on the road within 15-20 minutes! I consider myself lucky and grateful to have found this place!
