I don’t think I’ve ever been more disappointed in a place . I had an alternator done in february 2025 and the problems started there.
1. My car stopped that day. I lifted the hood to see the battery wasn’t ever fastened in all the way.
2. Alternator blew out 7 months later. Even though it was under warranty I still got charged for labor. I had them put in a new battery to be safe
3. This is where really fun began my car had battery light constantly on. It broke down several times and George kept saying you know it’s a common issue in your car I just can’t figure it out.
4. I bring it to another shop after this car has been towed twice and broke down 6 times. Immediately the mechanic sees the wrong battery for the car is in and on top of that he couldn’t verify the alternator was correct either but said it wasn’t in right anyway. On top of that they left a role of tape under the hood.
5. My car which I was an inch away from
trading in is running perfectly now that job was done right . George even when confronted by other mechanic asking what he had done behaved like it was the model of car and they just had issues.
I’m not sure if I was taken or George is just not a good mechanic but the job he did ( given many chances to correct over a full year) was awful. I’d be very careful of this place doing anything more than basic stuff. I’m not a car guy but I could’ve put in correct battery. It was such a careless mistake. Cost me a lot of money .
Excellent, honest, and efficient service. Accommodating, even when my schedule was tight. Can’t speak highly enough… trustworthy shops like this are few and far between. Glad to see this business in town.
My husband brought four tires to this establishment and requested the installation of the tires onto the rims on 2/17. The total charge was $169.67. My tires started losing air and becoming flat, and I had to replace two tires after just getting four new tires installed at this shop. The shop asserted that they had applied sealant around each tire; however, this claim proved to be untrue. Upon replacing the two tires at a different facility, it was observed that no sealant had been applied to any of the tires. I would not recommend returning to this shop for any automotive needs. Not only did they overcharge for the tire installation, but they also failed to perform the service correctly.
Great friendly local shop that does the right thing. Came to George with multiple issues with my truck and he helped diagnose and repair them without banging me over the head. Another shop wanted almost twice as much to fix the same stuff. Love this place and would easily recommend!
I made the huge mistake of trusting George with my car. He charged me $2,200 and claimed the reason my car was overheating was due to low fluids. They sold me fluids and assured me it would fix the problem. But after their so-called "repairs," my car became completely undrivable. When I brought it back for more repairs, the mechanic had the nerve to tell me the car was now unfixable because I drove it while it was overheating—completely contradicting their initial diagnosis and solution. To top it off, their final "advice" to me was, "You should have sold the car years ago." This was beyond insulting after they took my money and left me with a useless vehicle.
Now, I’m forced to rely on Uber just to get to work, costing me around $400 a week, completely ruining any quality of life I had. Not only did George and his son leave me without a functioning car, but they’ve also caused a major financial burden. This place is a total scam. If you value your car and your wallet, steer clear of these con artists.
I went in for a motorcycle inspection... Got a whole wealth of good tips for motorcycles and cars; as well as good and friendly service. Plan on returning with my other vehicles as well!
If you need regular maintenance or if your in the market for a plow truck talk to George or his son Steve. They will put thier years of experience and tools to work for you. They are honest and trustworthy.
It’s not easy to find an honest repair shop that will actual fix your car the right way the first time and not cost an arm and a leg. The owner George is a great guy who I bring all my cars to!
