I take all my cars to Danya and Dave. I don’t trust anyone but them with the care of my cars. Danya and Dave are truly an examples of what great human beings are. They are extremely kind, caring, supportive, understanding, accommodating, knowledgeable, and awesome. I honestly do not know why I would do with out them. My wife and I always comment how blessed we are to have them in our lives. We love them dearly. I hope the owner of Proper knows how lucky he is to have an amazing team like Danya and Dave on his side. Wishing the Proper Service team and wonderland happy holiday! By the way, my comment about “not sure” of the price is solely because I don’t pay for the parts, I pay for the service and Danya and Dave are worth every dollar.
I’ve been going to Proper for a few years now for my inspections. I have a lease so I really haven’t used their full service department but I can honestly say they are so accommodating and easy to work with scheduling. They are quick and everyone is just so friendly and nice. I would recommend them any time and when the day comes that I no longer have a car under warranty I would definitely use them for service.
Another 5-star experience! I had the brakes replaced on my Infinity, and an oil change service. The work was done to perfection, but more importantly, the way I was treated was amazing. Thank you Proper Service for taking such great care of my care, and for treating me with the highest respect!
Had oil changed and then I was told I could use a rotation of tires and cabin filter said yes, rotate the tires. My only issue with the tires was they never checked the air in the tires. I had all different air amounts in them. I thought it would’ve been part of the service.

Will give 5 stars dropped off my car without calling first due to multiple issues they got to my car fast where honest and gave a fair price did the work proper just all around good service kept me updated on everything going on keep it up will continue being a customer
Went out of their way to fit my vehicle in on the day I called, great service and extremely friendly. Made you feel like you were a customer for a long time even though it was my first time. Now they most definitely will have a returning customer for all my vehicles!!

Definitely happy with the service I received at Proper Auto. I initially chose to go there because they are located next to a bike and hike trail, and noticed they were always busy and they kept the property very neat and clean. Tells me they take pride in their business.
My initial thoughts came to be correct. From my initial phone call to checking out, everything was pleasant and professional. I do most of my own auto repair work, but sometimes I don’t have the equipment or in depth knowledge for the service needed. For example I went there for an AC system charge after repairs. Cost for work was definitely fair.
I left there with ice cold air and to my surprise, also an appointment for a week out appointment just to be sure everything was working properly.

I have been using Proper Service for a number of years. They are always friendly and very professional with their customers. The staff listen to descriptions of the issues that have brought you there. All of your questions are answered in detail. They pride themselves on making sure that the customer understands all of the aspects regarding a repair or service. The shop and public area are always clean, neat and very presentable. For the quality of service that they provide, I find their prices quite reasonable. The old saying is true, you pay for what you get. I plan on continuing to use them for many years to come. I am a first time customer and worked with John. He was excellent and very thorough with the details. I had my youngest with me and they offered the shuttle which was a game changer! They did a great job and will be back.
I found Proper Service by googling topped rated Service Centers. I connected to Danya who works at the Croton Falls Service Center. She was super helpful and connected me to The Proper Service of Baldwin Place because I needed service sooner than she could offer it to me. She was super helpful and very nice.

The team at Baldwin Place were great. I met Joe Ferone ( the owner)Matthew and Sara. They took care of my car and made me feel welcome. Their space is set up in an amazing fashion-all of the service garages are labeled for what kind of vehicle they service. It was clean and well organized. The waiting area was also clean and comfortable.Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. I am a Gear head and appreciate people like the Proper Service team. Totally recommend them.
I received excellent service at Proper Service of Baldwin Place. The pricing on the tires were very competitive and the tech did an excellent job installing my tires. Plus the waiting room was clean and comfortable.
I’m not a big fan of car repair shops, but I was in trouble and one of the shops nearby was Proper Service. I needed to replace my serpentine belt and possibly my pulleys. I was afraid of the large cost, as most shops charge $125-185 per hour for labor and up charge the parts. I get it, but one of the reasons I do not bring my car to the shop. Luckily enough, only the belt needed to be changed and labor wasn’t as bad as I thought. I was happy with their quote, as they did not try to replace parts that did not needed to be changed. (Many shops do this.) Their work was clean, the car is running great, and did not overcharge. Would give their shop 5 stars for the honesty and fairly quick turn around. Danya at the front reception is great and pleasant, and provided great communication. Would go back there if needed.
Proper makes perfect, service was indeed outstanding particularly considering something didn't work on the online scheduler. Anthony was so accommodating, working in my 2018 Subaru first thing on a busy Saturday morning and making sure the fixes were completed so I would be on time for a later appointment. Will certainly be back!

The head technician, Dave, is smart, can diagnose any problem with your car, and is honest making sure that he doesn't push unnecessary repairs with your car. He tells you like it is saying, "that the next time you come in, with the mileage that you have, we should start considering changing some of the fluids." His personal touch knowing your car, what and when to do things it's so much different than a dealership who I feel push you to do things that are not necessary at that particular time. His approach is outstanding! The staff is welcoming in the office, friendly and efficient. Highly recommend going to Proper Service in Croton Fall for a personalized experience with your car!!!!!
Joe and his team are pleasant and knowledgeable. A great overall experience that started out with making the appointment and continued right through picking up the car. I was kept informed and updated throughout the process.
Tanner was very helpful to meet my needs. Being in the industry that I am in it is very prone to often get nails in my truck tires. Without hesitation he is able to get me in to their busy schedule.
Besides being there weekly for this issue of my tires (nails from work) proper has done multiple other services for me.
Oil changes, brakes, rotors and much more.

I brought my car here for a new tire sensor, a tire rotation and state inspection. They failed my car because of the tints and still ran the inspection. They claim my tints are illegal, which has never happened in the years I have owned my car. But that is okay. I am not upset about that. My real concern is the company could not sync the new tire sensor to the computer and never completed the tire rotation. I brought the car back 3 times for them to complete the computer sync, which they never did. When I left a simple review on car fax the owner, Joe, had an employee call me and state, “my boss said to stop working on your car and refund your money.” Joe then proceeded to write a negative response to my review on carfax, concentrating on the inspection which I never mentioned in the review. Maybe the owner was having a bad day and did not appreciate the review. But a review is a review. To over react like that is unprofessional. He should focus on solutions. FYI, my dash lights are still on caused by the company. Thank you for my refund though.
Excellent service and facilities. Friendly and informative staff. If you need to leave your vehicle They also offer a shuttle service. Definitely makes it super convenient to get your car repaired without the stress of arranging someone to pick you up.
