As of today feb 2025 the district manager Diane came in with a sweeping response and took care of my problem with the resister getting burned. Thursday as for the new supervisor at this location she is really bad and I notified Diane that this person is very argumentative and condescending to customers she started there maybe two months and is bad for advance auto representation I give 5 stars to the district manager Diane thank you so much sdj Also just left this store tonight confronted I guess by a female manager and she was quick to tell me to have a receipt while having a purchase history my flashlight was not on the purchase history, so why do we give phone numbers for purchase histories if we need receipts maybe we should eliminate the phone numbers and only use receipts I think she was very unprofessional and she couldn’t even go in and find the purchase history. What’s the purpose of this to have managers that don’t know what they’re doing

My name is Thomas and I came in buying a g70 jumpstart kit upsolld to me by someone who didn't understand my issue. They charged me on-site and told me to come in later and there would be no issue because the kit was not on site . There was issue. I showed up and the part marked delivered never even existed from the supplier. The gentleman who was working at the time, Kristian, had no fault in this issue, yet solved my issue to 1000% satisfaction. He got me a much cheaper model of jump start kit that applied to the issue, but only after calling person after person. I wish him nothing but the best for the care he put towards me and appreciate people like him in this world

This store has gone downhill fast. Customer assistance isn’t prioritized and not enough workers. The new management this store has are lost can’t find parts, can’t second source parts, can’t cross reference parts. You can walk into the store right now and price changes haven’t been done so you cannot rely on the labels to give you correct prices. The management there are abusing their good employees and little by little they are no longer being seen in the store. Which is a disservice to the customers DIY and Pro. Corporate really needs to look into this before Middle Villages local auto parts store loses more business and mainly from loyal customers.

Why they don't hire more workers... No one was available to do battery check. I ended up went to another shop for it and bought a $200 battery. Losing business because of worker shortage is dumb

These guys at this location have 0 idea on how to test a car battery if it’s good or bad. They don’t know how to use the machine and will always tell you that your battery is trash and that you need a new one. They did it to me TWICE. I went to another advance location after in woodside and both times they tested it properly and charged it fully and 2 years with those batteries still running good 👍

After being on hold for over ten minutes, I decided to drive on over. They didn't have what I needed. (Would've of avoided the trip if the phone was answered) And if I ordered the part I needed, it would've been more expensive then purchasing it from the dealer. Which was my point for going there. Never again.

Amazing and understandable customer service !!! I usually don’t write reviews but I just want to say thank you to the dreadlocks guy who help us!!! Advance auto parts should have more sales associates like him , I just want to come back and buy at this location store because of his empathetic and enthusiastic customer service!!!! Definitely the best location! And if you need help asked for him !! He is the only one with dreadlocks I guess thank you again !

Got a battery less than 2 years ago. Don't buy from advance . They tested my battery and said sorry it is not good, but we won't replace it because I have to have the original receipt from 2 years ago even though the battery is own brand from them "diehard" . Battery has 4 years warranty, and the clearly says was made 2023. Worst company ever, no help at all. Will never come to any location

I have ordered online and they never seem to have the order ready despite several hours passing?! Then to add insult to injury, they move slow to retrieve the parts from the shelves in the labeled lanes. One guy disappeared while I was waiting and returned later, and remembered that I was waiting. He then went over to the Oil area and retrieved the items?!

The lady named Lucy who is in charge of the place was very rude and disrespectful to the customers. I went to Autozone, where they treated me very well and my order arrived on Sunday.

I must say I had good experience at this location this is my first time there because I needed some headlights asap a gentleman name Chris had help me he was very helpful , patient , professional and excellent customer service. I will visit again.

Despite some of the reviews I had a great experience at this location. Anthony was very helpful and took the time to explain the different headlights to me - I’m just a girl who knows nothing about cars. He was very attentive and the entire staff was friendly. I will be coming back here for any future auto part needs.

The customer service here is scary. From managers not excepting returns to following you as you leave disappointed with their cars. I was very uncomfortable but nevertheless I won't be patronizing this establishment anymore.

If you don't have all day to wait for cashier, do not go to the store although take your sandwiches with you and chair to sit on it You're gonna wait all day. Nobody worked there one person on a computer and answering the phone. He don't care you staying in the line. I don't think they'd care about your business. They should be out of business..

This shop is on fresh pond road and the lady with blonde hair is nasty rude and unfriendly. She must have been having a bad day before I got there to shop. As she didn't seem to want to assist me and sent me to another advanced auto store which said they don't know why I was sent there without her going the extra mile in calling the store for me. So I wasted a whole day running around to different advance auto stores, trying to get assistance with a scanner code reader. Which they advertise they do for free, but they do not do it at any of the stores so I was subject to false advertisements on a free scanner and the loaner tools as they don't offer that assistance even though they have signs outside the store in the window stating they do...

This store needs new leadership. Everytime i call they keep me on hold for over 45 minutes. I called back they do the same. I called the other day and the girl picks up, I tell her what I need, she puts me on hold for 22 minutes then picks up and hangs up on me. I continue to go here because its convenient but I seriously need to find a new auto parts store cause this is insane! Poor customer service!

Went to pick up Prestone Anti Freeze that I ordered the day before during the Black Friday weekend. Was told that the online order system was down for this Fresh Pond store. The cashier showed me the error message on her screen. I was shocked to see that interface looked like something from 90s when Windows 95 was the norm. How can you operate a business in 2023 where the online ordering goes down during the Black Friday weekend? Will not be surprised that this franchise goes under in 2 years. Had to cancel my online order and bought the same item in store without the online discounts. Yes, they cannot even match their own online discount in store. Later on, I found out that the Home Depot was selling the same Prestone with lower price even compared to Advance Auto's discounted online price. Unless I cannot find the same item somewhere else, this will be the first and last time I visit Advance Auto Parts.

I really appreciated ToniAnn’s patience. I had a difficult exchange that the system wasn’t allowing. ToniAnn was patient enough to troubleshoot the problem in several different ways and ultimately completed the exchange without me having to take time out of my schedule to come back the next day and speak with a manager. I went in to buy replacement windshield wipers and the young man behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. He looked up what kind of wipers I needed, then double checked that they would fit on my car before I paid for them. He installed them for me at no cost- great service!

Unprofessional service and care. I were there in the morning to purchase a fuel injector for my Dodge, once I walk in there was a employee walk toward to the counter so I walk up to him for help with my order but he just pointed his finger to other employee who is helping a customer. He is not doing anything or helping other customers, I spend 10 to 15 minutes waiting in line that he could just help me and save me time to get back to my repair. Also the injector I ordered which is not in stock, the person order it for me and claim it will be in afternoon around 1pm, but never called. I have to call in-store and waited another 10 to 15 minutes on the line any then was told that it was arrived around 2 pm. It is sad that no one seen to take their jobs seriously.

I've just recently got off the phone with whom I assume is the "manager" of the store, her name is Lucy. I suggest you do not try to do any business with her. I have a broken ankle and is just 2 blocks away from the store. I try reason to pick up my ups package with my broken ankle and she assumes that the package is not mine and my injury is fake. She continued to raised her voice and shout many curse words and tell me that I can not get my package nor anyone else can pick up the package. She even went as far to say show up to my store and you will see what will happen. I will report her to the BBB, this woman puts her store to shame. I can't believe what I've just witnessed this morning. This ups package contains a very specific cast that was molded and made for my ankle to heal in.

Beware of the woman (probably manager of the store named Lucy) who insanely prevent you from picking up in your hands the product you wish to buy !!! I was about to buy carpet cleaner in the can with attached brush. I opened and closed the cup, and she said, "…I can't do that". I asked, "what I can not do?" ... and she repeated I can't open a cap of the can. I said I am checking and inspecting the product I wish to purchase. She asked me to leave the store and did not allow selling to me the product. She did not allow selling to me the product by another employee. I feel sorry for the young man who works there who must have kept his mouth shut and was unable to help me by selling me the product I choose. She simply did not allow it. Please note, this is not a first time that a woman who calls herself manager of the store is making problems for me (and not only me). I was once buying wrench keys. Same complaints came from her. She must be removed from the store. She is not capable of performing customer service. She is not doing her job. I went to Pepboys around the corner to make my purchase. ################################################# In response to the Advanced Auto Parts owner: First of all, I was offended by store manager Lucy, who was not helpful at all when it comes to customer care ..... What kind of store treats customers by disallowing to “touch” the product that is on the shelf? “You can not take the cup off” was her impolite manner and first response to help me choose the right product. Should it be "How may I help you"? I am not going to get to details of whatever as you are saying I was taking the product "completely apart” but taking a cup off is not complete disassemble. I must remind you that this is not a first incident with the same Store Manager, Lucy, I dealt with in the same store. In the past I was looking to buy the wrench keys, and I was treated the same exact way. There is lack of customer care. Please go back and analyze the reviews on this store. Make a judgement on your own.

Very helpful staff.. , called before arriving and that took some time..., not because of bad service but because they seemed understaffed. When I got there the clerk had my item ready to go but again there was only 2 people working the whole store so it took some time to check out.

The store itself does not have the best inventory compared to the website and other nearby Advanced Auto Parts Stores. As a car guy myself, I love speaking and talking about my and other vehicles, but when you see staff talking with each other about their vehicles and plans rather than assisting customers, it becomes an issue for us customers. I could understand if the conversation was with a customer, but with it going on between staff is just poor service. Only bright side of this store is the very helpful lady who I normally see open the store and their oil and filter options.

It was a great store when Lucy was in charge . Now two new managers are very rude and they don't care about customers at all. Very unprofessional service . There is a Pep Boys store , 2 min walking distance and i m suggesting to do your shopping there. Personnel in Pep Boys are very professional and nice to you. Also Pep Boys have better prices and a lot of discounts .

They never have online order parts ready for pick up! I never ever received a ready for pick up email. I have ordered online for pick up at this location multiple times and they run around the store looking for the item when I get there to pick it up. If the item is out of stock, they insist that I get a different but similar product such as a different "better" battery.
