My daughter brings our family's cans here and they're always friendly and courteous, plus sometimes we find great deals on drinks/snacks. I appreciate that they helped turn a chore into something my daughter enjoys doing.

Love bringing my cans here! I usually bring a truck load. Fast service and nice guys

They are very friendly and the only place I like to take my bottles back.

This place has really nice staff. They don't make me feel as if I'm bothering them. I can't always count my returns on my own so they just count them in front of me. The place is kept clean, too.

Update: They must have gotten a new owner because when I went there recently, the dude that helped me was very nice and fast, still can't give it 5 stars because of my previous experience though. I did count my bottles so they couldn't scam me so I can't speak in that regard though Rude, and gave my WAY less that I should have gotten. I came in with like at least 4 giant tubs of bottle and they gave me like $7. But I bring in the same amount another time and they give me like $15. They just take your money. AND THEY WANT TIPS

Give them no stars if poss. Show @ 1:30 an told they can't take all my cans cause they closing at 3 when they should be open till 5. I have a small Aveo so didn't really have a truckload. Then want boss's number an told they don't have it. Bull your not gonna leave employees at your business with no way to contact u should a problem arise! This place is employed with shady liars I would avoid it!!!

Tried to bring in recyclables twice over last two weeks. Both times well within posted hours of operation. First time sign posted on door that they were closing at 3, arrived at 2:40, door locked. Second visit, no sign posted, arrived at 1, door locked, person in the office window mouthing that they are closed. I guess if you don't want any business, just close whenever you want

Said they could refuse my cans becuase they were dirty.... I mean come on your job is literally separating bottles and cans?? Idk where the cool dude whent that worked there but these old lady's are something eles

Walked in with 6 bags of clean cans, the lady asked very rudely how many we had. We had not counted them and she was extremely upset and rude. Shaking her head giving very dirty looks. She also said “we don’t have a pick up until tomorrow”. I’m sorry I though this was a bottle and can return. If you can not take any more cans then close the doors for the night. She was rude for the 15 min we were there. Never ever will I be going back there again.

We always have at least 10 bag's and get about $40 plus. The new conveyor belt system totally under counted the 10 bag's! Gave us $27. 85 That is a big under count. I said to the guy...Hey that can't be right bc we always bring back the same amount of bag's! He said "That's what the machine counted!" Not happy. Won't be bringing cans/bottle's back there.

Miserable woman inside upset that I dis not pre-count my cans. Pretty sure they shorted me. Probably won't be coming back. Thanks for the reply a year later. But I've already found a better place to bring my business.

Colleen and Harold (aka stud muffin) were super friendly! Smiles and laughs, and all around GREAT experience. Fast counting and easy in and out! Highly recommend.

The people who work here hate their jobs. They are so rude rolling their eyes and shaking their heads while they count your bottles and cans for you. Also when you come in an hour before they close they say in a rude voice “ You know we’re closing soon right” Will never go here again.

Absolutely Rude! The women who were working were annoyed that I hadn't pre-counted my cans, very obviously rolled her eyes and loudly sighed, then felt the need to comment on the bags I had them in. (5 grocery bags) commenting that we weren't allowed to have them any longer. Honestly, redemption centers wouldnt be in businessnif they weren't making back more than 5 cents per can, so yes, being cordial with those choosing to use your center is what keeps them coming back. I left, and gladly took my returns elsewhere, where I was greeted with a smile, and told that it wasnt a problem that I hadn't counted my cans. I won't be returning to this redemption center, and I will be sure to send others elsewhere as well.

I don't recommend this business, was there today and another customer in line had to leave and couldn't wait and asked me if I wanted her bag's of cans, I asked her are you sure! She said yes well the woman working there told me I couldn't have them in which they were not turned in yet, so you tell me if this business is operating a legitimate business.

Will definitely not be coming back to this place! This older employee was quite rude to us as soon as we walked through the door! She definitely didnt seem like she wanted to be there and was taking it out on us! Another customer came in as well and she was rude to him too. Very unsatisfactory customer service!

I have gone three separate days once at 4:45 once at 450 and once at 4:55 and all 3 I have been told that they are closed when their sign says they are open until 5. When places are open until a certain time they should be available until 5 when they lock the door. Every place I have worked at staffs a half hour later than closing time to give time to close up instead of using durring business hours.

Worst bottle and can return in Fulton hands down, I was denied Service because I showed up at 4:45 to return my bottles and cans. I was told that they’re cleaning up and they’re not going to count my bottles and cans because they only work till 5pm Absolutely ridiculous so I immediately left went to NYS bottle and can return near Walmart and they gladly counted my Bottle and cans. Oh by the way they’re close time was also 5 PM. So if you’re looking to return your bottles and cans stay away from Green Lakes ?

I aquired a few bags of bottles and cans. When I said I didn't count them an older woman replied with "Oh my God" Not the greatest attitude. The younger lady was polite.

I just came to this place for the first time andi don't know who the witch behind the counter is, she says she is the owner but the minute we walked in she shook her head in disgust at us, I asked her why and she started screaming that we weren't regular customers and didn't want us there, she continued screaming at us in front of other customers, when I told her I wanted her name and the owners phone number she started screaming more, she threatened to come after me and then she called the police. All I can say is she's a crazy woman and I will let everyone I know not to go there. There are 3 redemption centers in Fulton and this is the one to stay clear of for sure! This happened Saturday at 3pm, April 6th.

Went there today with 22 garbage bags worth of returns. They didn't accept any of our water bottles that I bought at aldi's, and there is no way the count was 225... I had over 20 bucks worth of returnables... they also had horrendously negative attitudes when they saw all our bags. Will not go back there again. Would give zero stars given half a chance.

Very rude!!!!Will never go there again. I would rather travel then go there. No smile no thank you. Close at 5 but turn people away at 4:40. Stood there for 20 minutes and the lady says I guess I have time for you. They don't deserve 1 star but had to for the review.

I used to bring bottles and can here. My last trip will be my last the customer service was awful, a hand written sign stating no bottles can be crushed no date on it...... How are customers suppoae to know that... Rude that was the half of it holy cow. Im a manager at a chain retail and if i acted like that i would be out of a job. Id rather hand push cans into a machine...

I was blatantly lied to at the Fulton location! I brought in thousands of clean cans and bottles and they were pre-counted and bags were labled with amount per bag. I was told after dragging them out of my vehicle that they no longer accept any water bottles that are crushed because they only get .01 for them. Mine are only squeezed slightly to release trapped air before bagging to save space in the bags, they out right lied and said "NO ONE is taking squished water bottles at all anymore" I said "no one?... Okay.. thanks anyway" and returned to my vehicle. I then proceeded to call multiple bottle returns in Fulton and asked about crushed water bottles...EVERY PLACE I called said that they ARE INDEED Accepting them as long as they aren't shredded or unrecognisable. I then brought my returns to a location that accepted everything I had and gave me my full refund. I will never return to great lakes bottle return! I was misled to believe NO ONE takes crushed water bottles and that I wouldn't get any more than a penny for them. I suggest you go elsewhere if you have cans and bottles to return if you don't want to be swindled of your cash. I paid my .05 bottle deposit and have the right to get it back upon recycling them at a center and I do not appreciate being lied to!!! Never ever again!

I put one star only because Google reviews wont let me post anything without pushing a star 1st, otherwise they get 0 stars from me. Went in with two 30 gallon and one 13 gallon bags full, and only got $10.05. I know for a fact that the 30 gallon bags will hold almost $10 apiece, so they ripped me off for over 1/2 of what I should have gotten. I only went there because I had absolutely no time and I wanted to see how much they were going to rip me off. I know they all do it, but these people are absolutely brazen about it. I am telling everybody I know not to go there, and I know quite a few. I suggest anybody that reads this stay far away from Great Lakes. Hopefully if we get enough bad reviews and tell enough people they can be put out of business.
