I'll start with the only positive experience I had, the gentleman that took the call (I don't remember his name) was very polite, though, he wasn't much help (out of his control).
We buy from IAA a ton between our 4 Ohio dealerships. This location is by far the sleeziest of them all. Money thirsty vultures. We had a transporter go to pick up a vehicle Monday (2-23-26) and we get a call from the transporter saying IAA was closed and requested a dry run fee. Upon verifying that the branch was infact closed, we paid the transporter a dry run fee. We couldn't find another transporter to pick up till today (2-26-26). This branch has the audacity to charge us for 2 days starage, $100 ($50/day) when they closed on Monday without giving anybody any notice due to snow. We had free storage till February 24, 2026. The branch manager refuses to waive the late fees let alone reimburse the dry run fee. Take responsibility, a part of being a manager is knowing how to manage, no sign of life in that department. I pray this incompetant greedy manager is replaced with an actual human that knows how to truly manage. Crazy how sales can sky rocket with proper managent
I contacted this branch in order to ask if they can put a Texas reasignment with the title because DMV's are now asking for Reasignments, even if there is space on the back of the title, the DMV wants the reasignment from the actual state of the seller. The manager Sandra told me "NOT TO BUY FROM THIS BRANCH" if I am having problems with registering the vehicles. Mind you this is management speaking to me as if I am not a paying customer. Peddle LLC provides IAAI with thousands of Texas Reasignments for Iaai customers. I wonder what would make management speak to me as if I am trash on the street and not simply provide me with the single piece of paper.
I have been a very long time customer with the IAAI auction chain.
I reached out to my local Buffalo branch numerous times back in September with no progress on resolving the problem we had. In December I reached out to branch manager Sandra at this Newburgh branch. Within days of reaching out, Sandra was actively working to resolve the problem in a very quick and positive way. Special thanks to Sandra for the extra effort to know how to professionally handle this problem and getting it resolved in a timely manner. Thanks again!
I believe this is my second negative review of this location.
The office person was polite over the phone, however I was informed that there are NO AUCTION PREVIEWS at the Newburgh location. How that is allowed by corporate, I have no idea and will make them aware.
My advice is to stay away from both IAA and Copart in the Newburgh locations. Very shady at both lots.
This place is HORRIBLE. Avoid buying any auctioned vehicles from this branch. I recently bought a vehicle from this branch, whose start code was Run & Drive. We'll guess what? The vehicle doesn't run or drive. In fact, the vehicle has a busted transmission, and none of the gears engage, so I'm not sure how the vehicle was listed as a run-and-drive.
Anyways, I write this to say that Sandra Miller and her team at Newburgh don't post accurate car information online, so I will definitely stay away from buying from this branch at all costs. I have had positive experiences buying from the Shirley, MA, and Metro DC branches.
Kept me waiting for 5 days to pick up car, was personally assured multiple times i would get a call and that they'd come... liars. Do NOT use them, they could care less about communication. Will be using another company.
Whatever you do, do not have your car involved with them in any way shape or form. Any car that you get, any car that they take will come back in an even worse condition due to their incompetent staff. A small physical damage claim became a total loss when they backed into my car. Now I had to call my insurance for the additional damage that they caused and was out of a car for months!
Be very careful buying run and drive at this location! I guess the owner of vehicle that actually don’t run and drive at all pay then to said that it run and drive without any possibility of the vehicle even turning on at all!!

Smooth, easy transaction with the front office and the forklift operator in the yard was ON POINT out back. Guy flung the car around with the finesse of a Russian ballet dancer.
They have a lot of of Damage cars trucks ATVs bikes.You can.bid on for parts you can buy them on the internet.Some are donation cars trucks ATVs bikes.
i did a MAX BID of $1400.00 ahead of time online and they sold it to a guy that was there at the auction for $1400.00 instead of me!? i bid that amount in advance so i should get the win!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ridiculous fees and then steal the car from me when i finally win one!!! bad customer service also and tons of paperwork for individual states. very hard to like this business!!! and you have to pay every year to sigh up. gonna try COPART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They don't close at 430pm they stop take people at 415 so get there even before 415pm if you are picking up a car. Otherwise they won't help you. I got there 425pm they wouldn't help me, got stuck there whole night because of this crappie time listed.
