Great experience. I have an old VW GTI that needed a timing belt, ac compressor and a few small things done. I have multiple cars and work on everything myself, but was too busy to be able to get the work done on my own. Brought my car here and they had gotten it done very fast and did excellent work. They made it easy for me to contact them through email and over the phone, as I have a very busy schedule. I was even able to drop the car off and pick it up after hours, completely problem free. It is very difficult to find reputable shops, so if you’re looking for one, this is the place!

This was my first time using Automotive and I was very impressed with their professional and knowledgeable service in keeping my Jaguar XJS running in great form. It's getting harder to find good people who you can trust with these old cars, and Automotive fills that void. I will be using them again after the winter to further the maintenance/repair of this old sweet ride!
I am a new resident to the State of NY. I was fortunate to come across Automotive Ingenuity in my neighboring town. It has been a great experience. 3 of the cars were due for service- not only mechanical but cosmetic as well. Working with Lance he arranged the PDR as well as some paintwork and a 20K service. The cosmetic and diagnostic work is flawless and the fact I did not have to go to 3 different places to repair both components of the car was a real time saver and very simple. What an amazing experience! My Jeep's AC went out last week in the midst of a Heat wave while dropping my son off at daycare. I contacted Automotive Ingenuity for a consultation. Within the hour they had located the problem with my AC, had me in loaner car and had me on my way. They called me back first thing the next morning that my car is done and ready to be picked up. Not only was the service fast and honest but they gave me a great price as well. I needed and engine replacement in my commuter vehicle and Automotive Ingenuity came highly recommended by another (highly respected) repair facility that was unable to do the work. I found this shop back in the summer time and since then on my Audi I’ve had to do a few repairs such as brakes, upper control arms , rear shocks / springs also recently had a timing cover leak which was fixed. Everyone here is very nice, professional and fast they also keep you updated throughout the process. They also check up after a few days to see how the car is and how the repairs went which is very nice I think. I highly recommend

The team at Automotive Ingenuity is top notch! I brought my 1971 Camaro in for an alignment and gave them the specifications called for, using the aftermarket upper control arms I had installed. Jeff called me personally to explain in detail what he was able to do and the limitations of the control arms in achieving those specifications. It was very clear how important it was to Jeff to give me a detailed explanation of the work performed. I could not be happier with the alignment results, detailed communication, and the professionalism shown by Jeff and Stephanie. I will definitely be a returning customer!

Extremely happy that I have found this shop! They were not afraid to work on my old VW Jetta that has a VR6 swap. They figured out a fueling issue for me that had been an issue for a long time. Not many shops that will work on cars with a swap and even that old. They also helped there local community by supporting a car show charity.

Automotive Ingenuity consists of honest, genuine, experienced hard working employees who are meticulous with their work. Jeff and his team brought my car back to life and on the road again. After I picked my car up from the shop it felt like a whole new car. Jeff and his team take their time and make sure corners are not cut, his business is truly are a blessing to have in the Pine Island area. I’ve had a lot of work done on my car, but I’m happy I found Automotive Ingenuity when I needed them the most. I needed to find a shop I can trust to do my timing belt and they did that job and told me what else I needed that had been neglected over the past few years. I received a long list and Jeff, Steph and their techs kept in contact and went over what I really need to address and what could wait until the next time I bring my car in. Fantastic service all around! Jeff and John are complete professionals and masters of the trade. They take pride in the small things (engine bay cleaned (super nice surprise when i checked the work when i got home), detailing my calipers when they changed my brakes, and even getting all of that gross sticky weight rubber off that mavis didn't when they mounted my tires). They also have this super neat system that I can pay my repair order through an app and see pictures of the multi point inspection. Very thorough. They even covered my steering wheel, shifter, and seat with special covers to keep the car clean. Customer for life! 5 stars!
