I drive a Bentley & repairs can be costly. I had a quote from a nearby ‘exotic’ specialist of $1850 just for a part, claimed worn bushings were a ‘fatal flaw’ & the entire sway bar needed replacing. Pine Island Auto replaced the bushings for around $500. Friendly, fast & honest service. Wish I could give more stars-

Take your business somewhere else. I went to this place because they were having a “spoky discount,” and while my car did have a few issues, they sent me a bill for $3,500. Everything was extremely overpriced. While I do understand shops need to make money and pay their workers, the prices here were just unreasonable. The “spoky discount” is fake they only “take money off” the inflated prices they add on in the first place. It’s all just marketing to get people in there. They also add extra little things to your bill to squeeze as much money out of you as possible. Even though the guy tried to be nice, it was obvious he was overcharging while trying to sound friendly. When I went to pick up my car and said I didn’t want it fixed, he tried to charge nearly $400 just for “labor” and a smoke test. But he didn’t even fix my car, he just did diagnostics. This is a crazy price for only doing diagnostics on a car. After talking to him, he dropped it to about $200, which only shows he was overcharging from the start. The diagnostic fee and labor costs were insanely high. I ended up taking my car somewhere else and paid $2,100, and it was fixed perfectly; still not cheap, but nowhere near $3,500. Save your money and go to a shop that’s honest and doesn’t try to take advantage of you. I really do appreciate if shops are honest and I would’ve kept going back forever if the guy was a little more reasonable. You would’ve made more money being honest and having people return to your shop.

Pine Island Auto is such a find for someone like me who historically has insisted that any major work be performed by Audi, where the car was purchased. My husband has an A7, and while I continued driving all the way to Audi in New Jersey, an hour away, he began about 2 yrs ago using Pine Island Auto. (A friend who owns luxury cars recommended them to my husband.) Well, back in July, I started getting an alarming message on my dashboard that my brake pads had reached their limit. I ran to Audi, and they confirmed my gently driven car (under 36,000 miles) did indeed need brake work done. My husband highly encouraged me to get a second opinion from Pine Island Auto before we spent $2,000 having Audi do it. I’m so glad I followed his suggestion, because these guys did a thorough inspection, and determined that I did NOT need this work done. Instead, they performed some other maintenance items, sprucing up the vehicle, then made arrangements to drive my car home for me (so convenient…thank you Tom!). The car has been driving like a dream ever since, and I’m completely sold as a client. What a gift that they are 5 miles away. Thank you Pine Island Auto!

These guys are amazing. They went out of their way to fix my issue and squeeze my car in at end of day. Pricing was beyond reasonable… excellent. Don’t hesitate to take your vehicle there!

Just moved to the area and needed an oil change and tires rotated. Tom and his team did a thorough check on the car in anticipation of upcoming inspection and found a worn ball joint. After 6 years of no inspections in TN, it was comforting to have eyes on the vehicle beyond my eyes.

Went for an inspection. Promptly offered an appointment. Staff was helpful. Car would have failed inspection because of the wipers, however they offered to sell me a pair for $80, and an installation fee of $50 to help me avoid needing to come back and pay another inspection fee. I'm not a mechanic, however I'm thinking this was extremely overpriced. In the past the great guys at auto zone sold ma a pair for under $30 and offered to even assist putting them on. I feel as though because I am a woman, and not very knowledgeable regarding vehicles, I was an easy target for getting taken advantage of. I'll be looking for a more reputable business to do any repairs needed and state inspection from now on.

Fantastic and transparent local repair shop. Tom, the new Service Advisor, was very communicative throughout the entire process, providing me with a detailed explanation of what was wrong with my vehicle as well as some maintenance items with a breakdown of cost and even warranty information in a convenient estimate before performing any of the repairs. The work was completely quickly, thoroughly, and skillfully by their head technician John and the vehicle was even dropped off to my house. Work was completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Great team at Pine Island Auto, and I plan on bringing more vehicles here in the future. Try these guys out!

Very disappointed with my last visit. My battery was draining overnight. I took it in and they found it was leaking acid. They replaced battery and charged me $590. When I asked about how bill got so high the answer was diagnostics. I just don’t know how $400 in labor for diagnostics could happen. Makes me sick to my stomach that I could have just replaced the battery myself and in 10 minutes saved hundreds of dollars. And on top of that, $30 credit card fee? It all just seems greedy. Too bad, I’ve had decent experiences with them in the past but I won’t go back.

This shop is awesome! Can't thank them enough! Went there on a rare day off in the middle of the week. Most shops in the Warwick area are slammed almost all the time. The staff was super friendly and beyond accomodating. Heard about this place and its sister shop - Automotive Ingenuity - from following Jeff online. Well, I showed up without an appointment as I had only an hour or so before I had to leave for work. They had several cars lined up before me but no customers there so besides me. They took me first, addressed my issue quickly and I was happily on my way! Can't thank them enough.

Pine island auto has been a solid experience. The shop is honest and straightforward in addressing my concerns and what their findings were. They were able to take care of a few issues in a very timely manner. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good shop with great staff.

Jeff, the owner of Pine Island auto is a true talent and gentleman. Honest and fair in his pricing and works on your vehicle like his own. I feel he is best at diagnosing issues. My latest truck had a few and he pin pointed them and fixed the problems. Truck is back to new plus he undercoated my truck for winter protection of salt leading to undercarriage rust and rot. Super happy with this auto repair company. I would highly recommend.

I just used Pat at Pine Island Auto to oil undercoat my Sprinter van with Woolwax and had a great experience. Pat is a nice guy and was very easy and to work with. He held up to his original date and time he gave me and they did a nice neat job undercoating my van. I'm a very fussy guy with my vehicles and I can tell they treated my van with great care and gave it back to me perfectly clean with no over spray. As a business owner myself, it's always a pleasure to work with someone honest like Pat who does exactly what he says he will do. I highly recommend them!

I was visiting Pine Island for a quick trip from New Jersey. While driving down, shortly before arrival, I got an code saying the trans was unhappy. On very short notice, Bob was kind enough to squeeze the car in for a transmission flush and fluid change. I felt for the service, it was a very fair price. I don't know that they can always make those kind of schedule changes, but not having a lot of options at that point, it was a very important visit for us. I was treated like my business mattered, knowing I was about to turn around and head 21 hours back home, and still helped us out. There was no pushing of new brakes or shocks or anything else, just timely service! Thanks again! The car ran great, no more codes!!! Well done guys. Doug from NJ
