Farmington Service is the BEST, after getting blowed off by Riccis towing and waiting four hours Farmington service came to the rescue. At 4:45 AM we called and they had three tows out which is more than every tow company we had called. They had gotten there at about 5:20 and had us home by 6:00 am. Best company ever, very affordable too. So grateful to have found them!!
I had to have my vehicle towed this morning. So I called AAA and they sent Stephen. Stephen was awesome he was kind and knowledgeable. I appreciated him taking me with the vehicle.

Good people; hard workers. Even though they couldn't resolve my ramp issue, because the specialty is wheelchair lifts, I thought I'd connect to inform you in case you branch out, there was a sudden signal conflict with the in-cabin up/down switches vs my fob. 5 yr old van. 20 minute fix at $72. I was surprised, for that 40 mile drive. Anyway, carry on.
Today I got a tow service from Juan and he was super friendly, had great energy. Was clear he loves his job and is great at it. Had informed answers to my car questions and had great stories as I rode with him to the destination. If you need a tow , ask for Juan. 5 stars !

Minutes. I was at the Mobil gas station right at 332. I didn’t get the gentleman’s name but he was wonderful!
My Silverado's wheel bearing self destructed and I had to pull off immediately as it was difficult to steer. We called Van Bortel and they recommended Farmington Service for a tow.
We were worried because I was towing my boat at the time. The truck arrived in about 20 min. Driver was friendly and a real professional. Got my truck loaded on a late model flatbed rig with ease, and got my boat connected to a hitch.
I was impressed at how careful he was, slowing down for bumps because he was concerned about the boat. I thought the price was fair. I'm so pleased with this business that I'm here writing a review which I don't do very often.
It started with an issue with my transmission. I previously had a mechanic in Macedon who I trusted, but didn't have time to address my truck. I was recommended Farmington Services, I believe My new mechanic's name is Tyler , he not only recommended a quick fuild and filter service but also diagnosed the issue on the front end of my truck , which I've paid multiple times to a previous mechanic to address. Thankfully, the next weekend after the service, my truck pulled a camper to the Catskills with out any issues. Transmission worked perfectly and the front end of my truck is tight like brand new . I had a problem with my car and needed to have it towed from Victor to E. Rochester. I had no issue with Farmington Service as far as their business, but with the driver I rode with while my vehicle was behind on the flat bed. He was nice enough, but I couldn't tell if he was on some kind of substance, and his driving was absolutely terrifying. It was raining, and he was barreling down the expressway in a tow truck with an SUV on it going way too fast to be safe. I was too scared to look at the speedometer to know how fast we were really going. I got the sense that he knew I was nervous, so he drove faster. I seriously thought we were going to crash and that I was going to die that day. I've never been so relieved and grateful to get home. I would advise Farmington Service to do some follow up training with their drivers, and perhaps some drug testing. So scary.
My jeep quit on me New Year's eve. I knew what the problem was but couldn't do anything about it due to the holiday. Not only did they tow my jeep to the shop I wanted to take it to, but the driver of the tow truck also picked up my keys on his way to get my jeep. Hands down ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ service, fair pricing and I will call on them again in the future if needed. Thank you guys, you're the best!
These guys are amazing. The helped me get into my work vehicle when I was locked out. The police had tried without success2x. Farmington Service quickly got in and were very nice!! Highly recommend then. They also service our work vehicles and are fantastic!!!
Great service! I needed a flatbed towing truck and they had one available right away. Price was more affordable than what I expected and the driver was of the truck was friendly and knowledgeable of what he was doing.
I had to pick up a vehicle that had been towed to this location by the referring police department. Every person I spoke with was friendly. I was worried I was going to be treated poorly. Very refreshing to be tested with such respect. Shop is very clean. I would take the long drive to there to have my vehicle fixed correctly.
Had a timing belt issue with my subaru outback, they were nice on the phone and here within 20-30 minutes of the call. Very nice guy who towed my Subaru Outback. Very quick and reasonable pricing. Zero complaints! Thanks again.
Got stuck at kubota do to lady on the phone told my students to go around the back where he can turn around needless to say we got stuck Farmington service was call out and they were super nice and super friendly the gentleman who pulled me out said no worries won't kill your bank and thats exactly what happened. I broke down on 90 heading East and thankfully got my car off the road at a local Speedway. After spending the night at a local hotel Farmington Service was able to tow my vehicle to Honda for repair. Their rates were reasonable, the staff was incredibly kind, and it was an all around great service. Thank you!
Blew a travel trailer tire on the 90, got to the toll booth where a gentleman flatbed driver was helping a broke down rv. I asked him where I could find tires and he said his shop could help but it was about 4.5 miles away. He said it would save me money if I could get my trailer off the 90. I did and decided to limp all the way to the shop. The guys there were super. They just about dropped everything to help us out. I ended up replacing all of the tires because they were pretty old. They had two on rims and two off so I now have two spares if I need them. Also, the inspected my trailer which was coming due and fixed my trailer wiring that had become damage while my tire was flapping during the blowout. Can't say enough good things about my experience there, it's too bad there are a few bad reviews because my experience was first rate. Thanks Farmington service! You came through and kept our trip on schedule!
So... There was Alex: young guy, friendly, informative, conversational. He tried with all of his might... I even lent him some of my might... That damn van would not let him succeed. Really hard working, didn't want to give up.
Alas, he had to. The foe proved too great, too rust-welded together due to upstate New York winters. He was really kind and gave me a lift to a local convenient store so I could wait for Sean. Then, off he went to help other motorists. Awesome experience, couldn't ask for anything better in this situation.
Sean... Sean shows up with a flat bed, positive vibes, and a "let's go" attitude. If he was taller, he'd be an older Alex. He, too, was incredibly helpful and got the van up in no time and took us both to a local Mr. Tire. He took his time, also talked to me like I'm a human being, very conversational.
Last note, this company and its service folk take a great deal of pride in their work and their presentation. Easily the cleanest, sharp looking tow vehicles I've ever seen, inside and out. I'd hate to blow a tire again, but if I do, I hope it's between exit 45 and mile marker 332.6 (I think that's their range)

Farmington service was out there quickly, the guy was very helpful, courteous and got me in and out real quick. very pleased with the service. Just wanted to give them two thumbs up.
Can never say enough good things about this place. Tom and Brenda are fantastic. I feel like my safety is important to them. They are the first to alert you of a pending issue with your vehicle. It's not a shop that is just looking for things to find to get you back in the door to take your money. They are very up front and honest. I dont take my vehicles anywhere else. Keep up the great work!
Awful place. I don’t recommend anyone to use them. They never even asked me if I wanted to get my car towed and just took it anyway . They lock it up but you can’t even get belongings out of your own car. The lady on the phone is very rude and lies right to you . She made a big deal about finding someone to come open shop so I can get belongings out of my car but she walks right over from the house across the street. There was already someone at the shop when I had got there that could’ve let me in . Instead I get charged 80 dollars to grab personal belongings from my car when it wasn’t even my fault I was injured in a car wreck . I had no control over the situation and they couldn’t even work with me during this special situation . Especially when I have my own tow service with my car insurance but no they still went ahead and took my car. I have never dealt with such horrible service . They are money hungry ,all they want is to take your money.

My camping trailer broke down 1200 miles from our home in Alabama. I am thankful we found a competent repair shop like Farmington to rebuild the bearings, brakes and axle for a reasonable cost so that it could be safely transported home. Shawn, Tom , and Brenda were very professional from the towing to execution of the work and working with me on the transport.
Treating someone they know will be a one time customer with fairness and competence speaks to the quality of their business and their people.
